Current Events Solofa Fatu (known as Junior Fatu, and previously as Rikishi) was released from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on October 25 2007 over a financial dispute, ending his short lived return to television. John Layfield's wife takes serious heat over Citigroup financial advice on November 1 2007. Brooke Adams (known simply as Brooke) was released from World Wrestling Entertainment on November 1 2007. Lilian Ellison (known as The Fabulous Moolah) passed away November 2 2007 at age 84. Chris Mordetsky and Harry Smith (known as Chris Masters and D.H. Smith, respectively) were suspended from World Wrestling Entertainment as of November 2 2007 for Wellness Policy violations. Mordetsky was released from his contract six says later.

John Cena takes heat from CNN after an interview involving mentions of steroids. Christopher Irvine (known as Chris Jericho) returned to WWE after a two year hiatus, debuting on the November 19 2007 edition of RAW following months of speculation. Matt Hardy suffered from an inflamed appendix, rendering him unable to wrestle at Survivor Series and possibly for 8-10 weeks. Briscoe Brothers and King of the Ring (1994) have been elevated to Good article status. No Way Out (2004) is a currently Good article candidate. 2007 WWE Draft failed its nomination for Featured list status. As of January 7, deturning Smackdown! Diva, Ashley Massaro has been drafted to the Raw brand.
