Alien / Predator navbox spam

I raised it at [1] and just saw you might be interested. SNAAAAKE!! (talk) 13:50, 31 December 2018 (UTC)

I see what you mean, SNAAAAKE!! - this has gotten out of hand. I'm removing the Predator and AvP navboxes from the non-related pages and I'm going to take the time to fix up the Alien page so it's not such a conglomerated clusterfuck. If TurokSwe pulls this again - after having clear access to consensus - we'll have no choice but to take them to AN/I. DARTHBOTTO talkcont 17:42, 31 December 2018 (UTC)

Welcome to the 2019 WikiCup!

Hello and Happy New Year!

Welcome to the 2019 WikiCup, the competition begins today. If you have already joined, your submission page can be found here. If you have not yet signed up, you can add your name here and we will set up your submissions page. One important rule to remember is that only content on which you have completed significant work during 2019, and which you have nominated this year, is eligible for points in the competition, the judges will be checking! Any questions should be directed to one of the judges, or left on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup. Signups will close at the end of January, and the first round will end on 26 February; the 64 highest scorers at that time will make it to round 2. Good luck! The judges for the WikiCup are Sturmvogel 66 (talk · contribs · email), Godot13 (talk · contribs · email), Vanamonde93 (talk · contribs · email) and Cwmhiraeth (talk · contribs · email). TurokSwe is still keeping it up

I've tried to talk to him but he just keeps edit warring and refuses to take in anything I'm telling him. I'm giving up on this, there is nothing I could say that can convince him to knock it off.★Trekker (talk) 19:52, 3 March 2019 (UTC)

@*Treker: Thank you for notifying me. I left a comment pinging the administrators from the AN/I discussion who set the parameters of him continuing to edit here. I honestly lost all drive to edit Alien pages the second he started up his bullshit right after the AN/I - it's too inhospitable. I can't see him keeping it up without consequences much longer, with how much negative backlash he receives with every edit. DÅRTHBØTTØ (TC) 22:01, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
It's been three days now. Should I make an ANI or something? Because he just keeps going.★Trekker (talk) 19:51, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
@*Treker: Goddamn it. I'm sorry - yes; it's best to do it at this point. Him saying he doesn't understand what he's doing wrong and blaming it on Asperger's doesn't excuse his behavior-- I'd know, as I have Asperger's. Disruption is disruption and he's butting heads with everybody, even beyond Alien. I won't edit any Alien articles until I know this won't continue. DÅRTHBØTTØ (TC) 19:57, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
I have Asperger's too actually, it's a bad excuse for not following the guidelines you've been given.★Trekker (talk) 20:00, 6 March 2019 (UTC)

TurokSwe's second ANI

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding TurokSwe is back at it. The thread is User:TurokSwe's issues on the Alien and Predator hasn't changed. The discussion is about the topic User:TurokSwe. ★Trekker (talk) 20:28, 6 March 2019 (UTC)

AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October!

Greetings!

After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.

The AfroCine Project welcomes you to October, the first out of the two months which have been dedicated to creating and improving content that centre around the cinema of Africa, the Caribbean, and the diaspora. Join us in this global edit-a-thon, by helping to create or expand articles which are connected to this scope. Also remember to list your name under the participants section.

Your email

Hi Botto, I saw that you sent me an email a few hours ago, sadly I'm realizing just now that I've lost my Wikiemail password (because I'm a cluts), so I can't read it. If it's not too much trouble for you I would appreciate it if you could send it to me to my new Wikipedia email that I have added now. Sorry for the trouble!★Trekker (talk) 18:00, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
