- Who am I?
Hi there! In case you're actually reading this, you seem to be (at least a tiny bit) interested in knowing more about me, so here we go—a short introduction . My name is Darius, I am 17 years old and I live near Nürnberg, Germany, where I also attend secondary school. However, I originate from Romania. Music plays the most important starring role in my life; I always listen to (new) records, buy the CDs of artists I admire (e.g.: Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, Lykke Li, Lorde and so on), and create my own songs.
My biggest dream is to become a musician somewhere in the future, and this is exactly why I—under the stage name of Dareios Blue—have been releasing my own music which is a kaleidoscope of my thoughts and ideas. My already (independently) issued extended plays (EPs) and albums see me experimenting with different genres, as do my singles (see tables below). If you do want to support me and check out my stuff, it would really make my day . Here are some links to my YouTube channel, my Spotify profile and to my Linktree. In case you're loooking for a way to contact me, you can visit my talk page here, as well as shoot me a mail at these two Gmail addresses.
- Why do I edit on Wikipedia?
I actually do feel like everyone has a little trace of OCD in them, and definitely so do I. But in the most positive way possible, though. I truly feel the need to have my things organized and well-structured, and this also applies to my favorite topics here—Romanian singers Inna and Alexandra Stan (which are quite big in Romania and have thus impacted me on a deep level from my childhood onwards), Romania's Eurovision Song Contest participation history and the Romanian music charts. Of course, I also edit other articles if the subject feels interesting to me. I truly feel like, by writing and ameliorating articles, I give back some of my energy to the topics/artists (etc) I appreciate.
Doing Wikipedia is definitely not a waste of time, and I've heard this one a lot over the years. It truly helped me with the way I'm structuring things overall and with my writing. Also, there isn't really that much time I'm investing in Wikipedia either. Since I already have brought the majority of articles I wanted to bring to Good and Featured status, the only things I'm doing most of the time here is merely maintaining the quality of my already-promoted articles, and sporadically creating new articles if required. In case you're interested in seeing my achievements on Wikipedia, you can head over here. My quality articles are also presented as symbols which you can click on at the top of this page.
