Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower. ~Hans Christian Andersen.
Hope, deceitful as it is, serves at least to lead us to the end of our lives by an agreeable route. ~ François Duc de La Rochefoucauld.
Hello! Welcome to my userpage. I am Sainsf, an Indian Wikipedian. I joined the community in 2010, but became actually active from 2012. It's been almost 10 years here; a long journey from back when I was in school to now, when I am a chemistry undergraduate. I have mostly been a contributor to natural history articles, and an active good article reviewer. I became less active here after 2016 due to big changes in real life, but I have started contributing significantly again from late 2019. I am thankful to many editors who helped me become who I am today here, especially Mysdaao and Sasata (who have since become inactive).
I can try doing reviews for you if I have the time and interest , just leave me a message on my talk page. Newbies, I would feel honored to help you! Note: This userpage is based on a design by Phaedriel (we miss you <3).
Though these userboxes I racked up from literally everywhere in my early days on Wiki (yeah I was a crazy teen) speak way more than you need to know about me (:P), here are some details anyway:
I joined Wikipedia way back in my early teens.. mostly on an impulse to create an article. Then I made all sorts of mistakes, even wondered if I did the right thing by joining. But nearly ten years later, I am so glad I did. This platform has helped me learn a lot how to communicate, how to write scientific articles and all in all has been a rewarding experience!
I am no expert on natural history, though I have a good understanding of biology up to an intermediate level. My interest in natural history is mostly amateurish, in real life I am a chemistry nerd. May be I will start working on chem articles later in the future, but I wish to improve a lot of neglected mammal articles for now.
I am female but sort of a tomboy. It amuses me every time I'm referred to as "he" :D
My stuff – This is where I treasure all my significant contributions in one place :)
Resolution Guyot, formerly known as Huevo, is a guyot (tablemount) in the underwater Mid-Pacific Mountains. It is a circular flat mountain, rising 500 metres (1,600 ft) above the seafloor to a depth of about 1,320 metres (4,330 ft), with a summit platform 35 kilometres (22 mi) wide. The Mid-Pacific Mountains lie west of Hawaii and northeast of the Marshall Islands, but at the time of its formation the guyot was located in the Southern Hemisphere, by a hotspot in today's French Polynesia. Plate tectonics shifted it to its present-day location, and the Easter, Marquesas, Pitcairn and Society hotspots may have been involved in the formation of Resolution Guyot. Volcanic activity has been dated to have occurred 107 to 129 million years ago and formed a volcanic island that was subsequently flattened by erosion. The platform emerged above sea level at one point before eventually drowning for reasons still unknown, with thermal subsidence lowering it further to its present depth. (Full article...)

Peace is a state of balance and understanding in yourself and between others, where respect is gained by the acceptance of differences, tolerance persists, conflicts are resolved through dialog, peoples rights are respected and their voices are heard, and everyone is at their highest point of serenity without social tension. Happy Holidays to you and yours. ―Buster7☎ 14:29, 24 December 2019 (UTC)

Your clear, precise guidance in reviewing Sydney punchbowls pointed the way forward. Given the specialisation of the subject matter, your capacity to analyse and assess its material was a revelation to me. I was comfortably in the back seat with you driving, but learning how I might take the wheel in future. With gratitude! JamesMcArdle 12:40, 11 June 2016 (UTC)

The Citation Barnstar
For showing me how easy citation-editing can be! If it wasn't for that, manually filling templates and waiting for the ever-glitchy Citationbot would slowly drain my editing-powers... FunkMonk (talk) 05:50, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
