Winter in Tsqneti

Tsqneti (Georgian : წყნეთი) is a small town, Tbilisi district, she has a small population[1] [2] of 8.2 thousand (2002) in 8 km from the city center. The district is located on the eastern slope of the river near the valley at 700-1100 m altitude above sea level.

Tsqneti with the climatic local mountain is a popular resort in warm summers (July average temperature of 20 degrees Celsius), and especially in mild weather in winter[3] a popular resort for ski.



History

Early history

Tsqhneti founded in the vicinity of the Late Bronze Age ceramic wares and tombs. It is long since known as the Suburban Place.
