Podcast (2011–13) edit

On Cinema started as an independent podcast that ran from 2011 to 2012, with three additional episodes produced during the production of the video series in 2012 and 2013. The podcast was eventually removed from iTunes and other podcast services, although mirrors of the episodes still exist on SoundCloud and YouTube. There was no rating system for the podcast episodes, as that was developed for the video series.

33"Twilight: Part Two and Anna Karenina"November 16, 2012 (2012-11-16)[a]

Tim introduces a new segment called "On Cinema On Location", where Gregg travels to locations seen in movies. The first segment has Gregg visiting the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, as featured in Hot Shots!

44"Red Dawn and Life of Pi"November 21, 2012 (2012-11-21)[a]

For "Popcorn Classics", Gregg presents Twilight Zone: The Movie, noting that it was very different to The Twilight Saga.

55"The Frozen Ground and Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning"November 29, 2012 (2012-11-29)[a]

Tim is visibly shaken during the episode and then breaks down and starts crying during their review of Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning, not giving a score. Gregg prepares to present a "Popcorn Classics" segment but Tim then cuts it, leading Gregg to end the episode.

66"Playing for Keeps and Hyde Park on Hudson"December 6, 2012 (2012-12-06)[a]

For "On Cinema On Location", Gregg visits the hotel seen in Moment by Moment.

77"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and Les Misérables"December 13, 2012 (2012-12-13)[a]

Tim and Gregg heavily praise The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, with both expecting it to sweep the Oscars. For "Popcorn Classics", Gregg presents 18 Again!

88"Zero Dark Thirty and Monsters, Inc. 3D"December 21, 2012 (2012-12-21)[a]

Tim and Gregg argue about whether Monsters, Inc. is best seen at the theater or at home. For "On Cinema On Location", Gregg visits the apartment where Bela Lugosi passed away.

99"Jack Reacher and Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away"December 27, 2012 (2012-12-27)[a]

For "Popcorn Classics", Gregg starts to present Dick Tracy, only to be interrupted by Tim as he presents his own recommendation, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, bringing up an argument from the podcast about which Star Trek movie had them go to San Francisco. Gregg stubbornly insists that Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is the one, while Tim proves his case with the VHS box clearly stating that Star Trek IV is the one. Gregg rejects the evidence and accuses Tim of having a bootleg VHS tape.

1010"Parental Guidance and Django Unchained"January 10, 2013 (2013-01-10)[a]

After reviewing the two movies, Tim and Gregg select their favorite and least favorite films of the past year. Gregg's favorite movie of the year is The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, while Tim's favorite is Jack Reacher, having loved it even more after re-watching it. Tim's least favorite film of the year is Skyfall, which upsets Gregg enough for him to state Jack Reacher was his least favorite film, upsetting Tim back. For "On Cinema On Location", Gregg visits a house seen in Blast from the Past.

While reviewing Side Effects, Tim reveals that he was diagnosed with having several blood clots in his brain. He says they don't necessarily have to be operated on, though Gregg immediately says he should and suggests getting a better doctor. For "Popcorn Classics", Gregg recommends A Simple Twist of Fate.

122"A Good Day to Die Hard and Escape from Planet Earth"February 14, 2013 (2013-02-14)

Because Tim considers both of the movies in this episodes "popcorn" movies, he fixes popcorn for him and Gregg to eat while reviewing. Gregg suggests that Escape from Planet Earth should have filmed Brendan Fraser's character, Scorch Supernova, rather than animate him, which upsets Tim enough to smack the popcorn out of Gregg's hand. He tells Gregg he's not letting him say "that kind of crap" on the show, and proceeds to smack the other cup of popcorn when Gregg reaches for it. After a pause, Tim gets up and leaves, abruptly ending the episode.

Tim gets very drunk on champagne and winds up vomiting on some of Gregg's VHS tapes, which causes Gregg to walk off the set. Tim is able to convince him to come back by promising he'll be the co-host of next year's Oscars special, rather than a guest. John Aprea and Candy Clark appear as guests.

Joe Estevez and Sally Kellerman appear on set as guests, while John Aprea appears with Joe in a prerecorded segment showing what would happen if Tim won an Oscar. Tim shows a sneak peek to his upcoming film, Decker, that features him and Joe. Tim again gets extremely drunk, throwing things around on set and berating Mark. Gregg, dressed as Bilbo Baggins, teases a surprise throughout the special, which proves to be a bunch of VHS tapes arranged like dominoes that, when toppled, spell "OSCER".

...8"Get Hard and Home"March 25, 2015 (2015-03-25)

Tim and Gregg try to review Get Hard and Home, but due to Decker: Port of Call: Hawaii's busy production schedule, Tim admits to not seeing both movies, and Gregg admits to not seeing Get Hard. Tim demands that Gregg watches Get Hard after the episode is done. Tim and Gregg proceed to score both movies anyway. For "Popcorn Classics", Gregg hastily pulls out Man Trouble, which he admitted he only bought the week before and had yet to see. Tim gets angered and smacks the tape out of his hand, demanding Gregg watches the movies he presents.

...9"Furious 7 and Woman in Gold"April 1, 2015 (2015-04-01)

With production on Decker: Port of Call: Hawaii nearly wrapped, Tim and Gregg are more relaxed and apologize for the quality of the recent episodes. As Tim requested the week before, Gregg watched Get Hard and confirmed his 5 bag score to be right. Tim praises Furious 7, giving it a record 7 bags of popcorn. Tim dedicates the episode to Paul Walker and says Hollywood should commemorate him by changing his name to Paul Driver.

...10"Ex Machina and The Moon and the Sun"April 8, 2015 (2015-04-08)

After the finale of Decker: Port of Call: Hawaii involved Tim burning many of Gregg's VHS tapes, Gregg is absent from this episode. Tim instead has Ayaka on as a guest. They do a "Popcorn Classics" segment of their own, recommending The Hangover Part II, which they rented on iTunes. Tim proposes to Ayaka at the end of the episode, she says yes.

TitleOriginal release date
"The Third Annual On Cinema Oscar Special"February 23, 2015 (2015-02-23)
Tim and Gregg host another Oscars special. Mark returns to do impressions of The Three Stooges, one at a time. Tim tries to avoid getting drunk by drinking "organic" champagne, not realizing it's still alcoholic. Tim performs a song for Ayaka and puts his phone number on the screen, wanting Ayaka to call but instead getting prank callers. Peyton Reed appears as a guest to promote his new film Ant-Man and announces that Gregg has been cast as a minor character in the movie, which upsets Tim. In the finale segment, Gregg introduces James Dean, the former actor who was believed to be dead since 1955. After reading on a message board about how Dean faked his own death and wrote a memoir called "I'm Alive: How I Faked My Own Death", he brings Dean on set as his return to the public. Tim does not believe this is the real James Dean, leading to him verbally and physically threatening Dean before trashing the set.

tba1"Ant Man and Fantastic Four"September 9, 2015 (2015-09-09)

Tim negotiates a deal for Gregg to return to On Cinema, letting Gregg write, direct, and produce the third season of Decker, consisting of 20 episodes and a 2 hour finale. Gregg reveals that he bought a storage locker full of VHS tapes from a video store in Victorville, California, moving to the town and launching the Victorville Film Archives. Tim heavily pans Ant-Man (which Gregg plays a minor character in) and gives it an "unprecedented" 1 bag rating, while praising Fantastic Four (which he plays a minor character in) and giving it 6 bags. Gregg recuses himself from reviewing Ant-Man, while accusing Tim of paying Fantastic Four director Josh Trank $15,000 to appear in the movie, making Tim abruptly stops the episode.

tba2"Black Mass and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials"September 16, 2015 (2015-09-16)

Gregg gives an update on the next season of Decker, saying all 20 episodes have been written. Tim announces that he is forming a band, Dekkar, unveiling the logo and stating that he will record a three-track EP that weekend. For "Popcorn Classics", Gregg does a "Lucky Dip", where whatever tape Tim blindly grabs from the bag will be that week's pick. Tim picks Our Song, but recommends that Gregg discontinues the "Lucky Dip" part immediately.

tba3"The Intern and Hotel Transylvania 2"September 23, 2015 (2015-09-23)
Tim presents a finished single from his Dekkar EP, "Empty Bottle", to an unamused Gregg. He thanks Axiom, a guitar player he met at Guitar Center, for helping him produce the EP. Gregg reveals to Tim on the show that "Dr. Luther", the doctor that Ayaka works for, is actually Dr. San, having learned it after going on a picnic with Ayaka and him over the weekend. Tim becomes furious and abruptly ends the episode, set to go confront Dr. San immediately. No movies are reviewed.
tba4"The Martian and Sicario"
"The Doctor San Forgiveness Special"
September 30, 2015 (2015-09-30)
On a different set than usual, Tim welcomes Gregg, Joe Estevez, and Dr. Luther Sanchez to forgive the latter. Tim and Dr. San both take a stance against vaccination, and Tim announces that Dr. San will be living with him and Ayaka for a few weeks to oversee the sick Tom Cruise Jr.'s health. Tim bumps Gregg's planned "Popcorn Classics" segment to the start of the next episode, frustrating Gregg. Dr. San ends the episode with a song for peace, while Gregg walks off the set. No movies are reviewed.
tba5"Pan and Steve Jobs"October 7, 2015 (2015-10-07)

As promised by Tim, Gregg does a "Popcorn Classics" segment at the start of the episode, recommending Blue Streak. While reviewing Steve Jobs, Tim compares Steve Jobs' liver issues to that of his son's issues. Gregg gives an update on Decker, stating that most of the first four episodes have been taped, although Tim's scenes have not. Gregg teases the season's full title with an abbreviated one: D3 DVD.

tba6"Goosebumps and Bridge of Spies"October 14, 2015 (2015-10-14)

Airing three episodes into Decker's third season, fully revealed to be Gregg Turkington's Decker vs. Dracula, Tim announces that he is cancelling the program, angrily telling Gregg that he has "pissed" on the Decker franchise, calling it a mockery and heavily critiquing Decker collaborating with the terrorist character Abdul. Despite the cancellation, Gregg plans to finish the project, possibly renaming Decker to Becker.

tba7"Jem and the Holograms and Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension"October 21, 2015 (2015-10-21)

Gregg complains the entire episode about Tim cancelling Decker vs. Dracula, Tim discussing things other than movies, and Dr. San. Another round of "Stump the Buff" is played, with the answers having to do with the number 7. Gregg once again gets every question incorrect, including one asking what the lowest-rated film in the show's history was. Gregg walks off set after Tim reveals it's Ant-Man.

tba8"Autobahn and Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse"October 28, 2015 (2015-10-28)

The intro music is replaced with "Empty Bottle", and Axiom takes Gregg's place. Ayaka tells Tim not to travel to Axiom's studio due to Tom Cruise Jr.'s current health, so Axiom comes down with a mobile studio. Tim signs with Axiom's record label, Axiom Records. The week's movies are discussed, though neither actually saw them.

tba9"Spectre and The Peanuts Movie"November 5, 2015 (2015-11-05)

Gregg hosts the episode solo at the Victorville Film Archives, filling in for Tim due to a family emergency. It is revealed that Gregg now lives here. Gregg reviews both movies and also gives a prediction of what Tim would rate them. Gregg presents a VFA edition of "Popcorn Classics", recommending both Swing Shift and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

tba10"Rings and By the Sea"November 12, 2015 (2015-11-12)

Back on the set of the "Forgiveness Special", Tim announces that Tom Cruise Heidecker Jr. has died. Gregg and Axiom express sympathy for Tim, while Dr. San wonders what else he could have done for him. Gregg states that if Tom Cruise Jr. was sent to the hospital earlier, he likely would have lived. Dr. San says no one should be pointing fingers, while Tim blames Ayaka vaccinating him for his death. They still briefly review the movies, although only Gregg has seen them. Tim, Dr. San, and Axiom end the season by playing a song dedicated to Tom Cruise Jr., sounding quite similar to "Empty Bottle".

"The Fourth Annual On Cinema Oscar Special"February 29, 2016 (2016-02-29)
The fourth Oscar special features Dekkar performances throughout the show, much to Gregg's chagrin. Tim also introduces a new member of Dekkar, Manuel. Mark Proksch returns, doing impressions of the Marx Brothers with an injured nose, caused by Tim before the show. Gregg dresses as Dale, his character from Ant-Man. Joe Estevez officiates the "Oscar Olympics", consisting of three games. Dee Thompson, known for sneaking into the 69th Academy Awards ceremony, is interviewed. Tim introduces an animated rendering of Tom Cruise Jr. as a young adult to Ayaka, which then proceeds to come out with Tim against vaccination. Dr. San performs a DNA test on James Dean, proving that he is in fact, James Dean, angering Tim enough to kick Dr. San out and smash Gregg's framed Ant-Man poster.

For "On Cinema On Location", Gregg shows the Paramount Pictures film lot, where Vanilla Sky and The Presidio were recorded. 1"Day 1"November 15, 2017 (2017-11-15)
Judge Edward Szymczyk presides over the case of The People of the State of California vs. Timothy Richard Heidecker, with San Bernardino County district attorney Vincent Rosetti and assistant district attorney Miriam Waymon representing the prosecution, and Mark Dwyer representing the defense. Both the prosecution and defense give their opening statements. The prosecution calls Emily Siroky, a festival attendee, to the stand to testify about the disorganized state of the Electric Sun Desert Music Festival, including a small amount of portable toilets, poor parking, and a lack of food trucks; Emily also identifies Tim and Dr. San as the two handing out vape pens. Lisa Betenzos, a paramedic, is then called to testify about the emergency response, noting a delay in caring for the injured caused by two trucks blocking the fire exit. Jared Jolson, another attendee, is called to testify about the lack of promised VIP benefits and what taking the vape did to his body, and notes that when people started dying during DKR's performance, the band continued playing. However, under cross examination, Jared admits that he had been drinking and smoking marijuana at the festival. Tim repeatedly interrupts the testimonies, claiming a fly is in the courtroom, and loudly scolds his own lawyer, with Szymczyk threatening to charge him with contempt twice. Gregg, Manuel, and Axiom are in the gallery.
2"Day 2"November 16, 2017 (2017-11-16)
Mark Dwyer is dismissed as Tim begins representing himself. Szymczyk allows Tim to give a new opening statement for the defense, asking the jury that they disregard all statements from Mark Dwyer, hinting at a possible collusion with China regarding the ingredients of the vape, and says that he is unjustly being tried. Tim quickly proves himself to be an incompetent lawyer, being repeatedly admonished by Judge Szymczyk and objected to by the prosecution. The prosecution calls Detective William Ellis, who interrogated Dr. San the night of the event. The interrogation video is played, where Dr. San calls Tim the "idea man" of the two, helping him with making the vape and finding some of its ingredients in Chinatown. The prosecution presents a check from the Tom Cruise Memorial Arts Fund paid to a Chinese chemical supplier. While cross-examining, Tim suggests there was fraud from the Chinese supplier and withheld evidence from the prosecution. The prosecution calls Dr. Gerard Kearny, chief medical examiner, to the stand to discuss his toxicology report that links the deaths to the vape pens. Dr. Kearny says that Shawn Levin, one of the victims, died of a heroin overdose rather than from the vape, this leads Tim to ask if he is credible. The prosecution then calls Gregg to the stand, discussing Dr. San's appearances on On Cinema and his influence in Tim's life. While cross-examining, Tim accuses Gregg of inadvertently killing his son by having black mold in his apartment when Tim's family lived with him. The judge admonishes Tim for his animosity and Gregg for repeatedly going off-topic.
3"Day 3"November 17, 2017 (2017-11-17)
The prosecution calls Amanda Davis, the mother of victim Valerie Davis, to the stand. Despite being 17 years old, Valerie was offered a vape pen. Amanda blames Tim for her death, while Tim offers condolences and calls for a moment of silence, which he instantly breaks. The prosecution then calls Mark to the stand, to discuss his experiences working with Tim. When asked by Rosetti if he was physically abused, Tim immediately objects and says "Watch it, Mark," getting told to remain quiet by Judge Szymczyk. Mark says yes, and Rosetti then shows a video montage of Tim's abuse. Mark tries to leave, but is told by Judge Szymczyk that Tim has the right to cross-examine. In his cross-examination, Tim claims that he has the "Constitutional right" to assault Mark and is escorted out of the courtroom by the deputy, forcing the court into recess. Szymczyk issues a contempt citation for Tim. The prosecution calls Axiom to the stand, who states that Tim is "essentially family" to him and had donated his right hand to Tim. Rosetti plays a song made by Axiom prior to meeting Tim that strongly sounds like "Empty Bottle", which Axiom claims is a total coincidence to an unfazed Rosetti. The prosecution then calls Ayaka to the stand, who then accounts her life while married to Tim. She calls Tim a confused and angry man with a violent temper, and says that she didn't know why Tim continued associating with Dr. San, especially after Tom Cruise Jr.'s death. Ayaka now lives in Japan, has remarried, and has a daughter. In cross-examination, Tim asks about her new husband, daughter, and if Ayaka still loves him. She says no. Tim angrily throws his binder onto the table and escorts himself out of the courtroom.
4"Day 4"November 20, 2017 (2017-11-20)
A second contempt citation is issued for Tim. The prosecution rests their case, meaning the defense can begin calling witnesses to the stand. Tim calls Jack O'Ryan, who was scheduled to perform at the festival, to the stand to talk about the festival. Obviously expecting Jack to paint the festival in a positive light, he instead talks about the lack of food and water and the lack of payment. In cross-examination, Miriam asks if Tim had paid him to testify, Jack bluntly says yes. Tim calls Jack a "rat" and insults him and his music. Tim then calls Jesse Popp, a festival attendee, to the stand. Jesse praises the festival and its music, and says that he had not noticed any illnesses or deaths. In cross-examination, Jesse initially claims that he has never worked for Tim, although after Rosetti shows that he had appeared in an episode of Decker: Unsealed, he admits he has. Rosetti also gets Jesse to admit that he was paid by Tim to testify. Joe Estevez is then called in, who claims that Tim would never hurt a fly and that Dr. San is the sole person responsible. In cross-examination, Miriam questions Joe about Tim's health issues and work with Dr. San, with Joe mentioning the intervention from season 8. Tim shows the jury a paper saying "The China Connection", stating he will clarify in the his closing statement. Tim calls Gregg to the stand, accuses him of not being a movie expert, calls him a "loser", and brings up the Star Trek debate.
5"Day 5"November 21, 2017 (2017-11-21)
Tim calls Nicholas Meyer, director of Star Trek II and writer of Star Trek IV, to the stand. Tim gets Nicholas to confirm that Star Trek IV is the one set in San Francisco, in an attempt to get Gregg's testimony struck from the record. Gregg interrupts multiple times in the gallery and is removed from the court, while the prosecution questions the relevance of this and gets Nicholas to confirm that Tim had paid $10,000. Tim calls Manuel to the stand. Manuel claims he had saw Dr. San the night he committed suicide, and that Dr. San wrote a letter claiming he was solely responsible. Tim attempts to submit the letter as evidence, but the prosecution objects. Manuel admits in cross-examination that Tim gave him the letter that morning; the letter is dismissed and Manuel's testimony is struck from the record. Judge Szymczyk tells Tim that he will be receiving more contempt citations. Tim rests his case. Both the prosecution and the defense give their closing statements, with Tim using a whiteboard to draw a chart connecting everything to "The China Connection". Tim suggests starting the "Delgado Fund", named after victim Kim Delgado, providing funding for kids to produce music. The jury is excused to the jury room.
6"Day 6 - The Verdict"November 28, 2017 (2017-11-28)
Gregg, Axiom, Manuel, and others arrive in the gallery as they await for the session to begin. The jury reads the verdict. Tim is declared not guilty for the death of Shawn Levin, but the jury was not able to reach an unanimous decision for the remaining 19 victims. Judge Szymczyk states that the court is "disappointed" that a verdict was not able to reached, but has no choice but to declare a mistrial. The prosecution holds a press conference, stating that they are "disappointed with today's outcomes," but "proud to fight on behalf of the victims," while also clarifying that the hung jury was due to 1 of the 12 jury members voting "not guilty". Tim also holds a press conference, stating that he was happy and "not surprised" that he won, calls his former lawyer Mark Dwyer a "dud" and Rosetti a "rat", and gives a "shout-out" to the Electric Sun 20.

Tim says to the Delgados that he is done, noting that he has nothing left and is financially ruined. For "Popcorn Classics", Tim picks out Training Day from Gregg's bin of tapes on set. Tim accidentally knocks over Mark, resuscitating him. Tim also manages to erase Gregg's video tape collection with the help of a magnetic vest he wore for magnetic therapy purpose, which Gregg only finds out about after attempting to show a clip from Kramer vs. Kramer before doing the sequel. ...4"Last Night in Soho and Antlers"October 27, 2021 (2021-10-27)

Tim announces the Heilot Season, a series of pilots for the HEI Network including the already released "Rock House" and an upcoming series with Gregg. He also announces that with his HEI Points, he has purchased land that will be the future home of the "HEI Ranch", which will include broadcast studios, living spaces, a university, a resort, a performing arts center named after Wendy Kerby, and more.

Gregg talks about going to the premiere of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, saying that his Pop Secret sweepstakes win also gave him two tickets. Tim welcomes back Mark and offers him a pilot, promising that nothing bad will happen to him. Gregg distances himself from Mark, standing behind a bookshelf on the set. Mark accepts Tim's offer.

...7"Top Gun: Maverick and King Richard"November 17, 2021 (2021-11-17)

Tim starts the episode demanding that the rehab lets him talk to Toni. His health problems worsen, as he now wears a colostomy bag and drinks triple the amount of RJ's Shake. LaRue, now in a wheelchair, appears to promote his Xposed pilot. LaRue also accuses Gregg of lying about going to the Ghostbusters: Afterlife premiere, as Pop Secret's sweepstakes let the winner select either tickets to the premiere or $20,000, but not both. Gregg says he actually saw it the week before the premiere event at a focus group screening, and used the $20,000 to produce a movie called Deck of Cards, based off the playing cards. A trailer is shown, with Joe Estevez playing the King of Hearts and Gregg playing the Joker. For "Popcorn Classics", Gregg presents Maverick, after having complained in his Top Gun: Maverick review about the movie not being a crossover between the two. His feeding tube was removed and Tim was given new medicine, though he is now looking to Dr. San for alternatives to RJ's Shake. Manuel offers to fix real food for him, which Tim eventually accepts. While Tim and Manuel discussed the movies, Gregg presses Manuel on his Al Pacino and Resident Evil knowledge. HEI Ranch development has stalled, with issues like Joe's incompetence, 20 pallets of concrete being destroyed by flash flooding, and the contractor refusing to take HEI Points as currency. Tim states Toni needs to get out of rehab and get back to doing her job.

Joe, now the permanent Vice President of HEI Inc., announces that Xposed won the "Heilot Season" vote. Late at night, the van had a catastrophic malfunction, destroying the van and severely injuring the band. Axiom lost his eyes from the shattered windshield, and appears with a blindfold. While discussing potentially opening a place to help others achieve immortality with help from Grain Water, Tim makes a comment about Chris Amato's death that upsets Kaili. Gregg gives Kaili a present, though she doesn't open it up. Manuel appears for the first time since the accident, and is revealed to have a massive concussion, one that has made him forget English. Axiom, still blind, helps translate what the others say into Italian. Tim offers Manuel some Grain Water, stating it might help him learn English again, yet he passes due to the smell. G. Amato appears to perform a Christmas song. During a break, Gregg's top 10 Christmas films are revealed, with Four Christmases at first place. As the show returns from break, Tim appears alone on a medical bed and introduces Dr. Alan Silver, here to give Tim a lethal injection and prove that Grain Water will protect him from death. Due to drinking the Grain Water, Tim's blood contained Neisseria meningitidis, Haemophilus influenzae, bacterial contamination, among other symptoms. After returning to the HEI Ranch, the trailer Tim lived in was removed, along with all of his personal belongings. Tim tried to visit the Rock House and Gregg's house and contact G. Amato, to no avail. Tim asks why no one visited him at the hospital, Gregg says he assumed Tim wouldn't have wanted him to. Tim apologizes. Gregg offers Kaili's still-unopened gift to Tim, a promotional tea set for Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. Tim, thankful for the gift, accidentally drops and breaks it. He blames himself for "fucking everything up", but Gregg convinces him to review the movies in order not to mess up more. Tim thanks Gregg for being a friend, noting that no one else wanted to come to the show this day. Gregg invites Tim to go stay at his house, go to dinner, and watch some movies, which Tim accepts. Gregg presents the top 10 Christmas movies worth watching year-round, with Tim and Gregg both grabbing tapes from a paper bag.

The service, consisting of a Dropbox folder full of public domain movies, unintentionally includes dashcam footage of the VFA Tour Bus crash, which appears to show Tim intentionally swerving the car off the ditch in a suicide attempt. The footage spreads to Twitter and eventually to the people on set. Tim, fully dressed as Pinocchio for a planned scene, plays the footage on set. Axiom and Manuel swiftly leave afterward, leaving Tim to have a violent, emotional breakdown with only G. Amato, dressed as Geppetto, consoling him.

On Cinema is retooled again as a video podcast and introduces a new co-host, Joseph “Joey Patron” Patrocelli, who provides movie reviews in a segment called “Joey’s Take”. Tim states that he is no longer reviewing movies as he has "dissociative reality confusion syndrome", which makes him feel as he is experiencing what he sees. Tim thanks his “father”, G. Amato, for saving his life after the last Oscar special, and now refers to himself as T. Amato. He stops dying his hair and states that, as part of a new diet, he gets 10 hours of direct sunlight a day, which curbs most of his appetite. Gregg, who only appears as a guest as a request from G. Amato, says he celebrated his holidays by watching Wonka 12 days in a row. The “Joey’s Take” segments are pre-recorded and added in post, confusing Gregg as he isn’t able to debate with Joey about the movies. After finding out Joey’s rating scale is out of 4 stars rather than 5 bags of popcorn, Gregg attempts to get Joey to convert the scores over. The "Hollywood Spotlight" segment, still hosted by Kaili, gets bumped due to excessive movie discussion.
