The entire schedule was released on August 22. They tried to improve on their disastrous 47–115 (.290) record from 2018, but failed as they will finish 39-123. They were eliminated from the playoff contention with their 85th loss to the Boston Red Sox on August 18. The Orioles were managed by Brandon Hyde in his first season as Orioles manager.[1]
