In reply to your message on the talk page, I don't believe the song is sourced to WP:NSONG, but why not try to find some sources and add them? Merry Christmas, Sam Sing! 14:56, 24 December 2014 (UTC)

I'm afraid that you still don't understand. You cannot add material from Charly1300.com. That's not an error: Charly1300.com is not a reliable source of data. Material from it cannot be included in Wikipedia.—Kww(talk) 15:24, 28 December 2014 (UTC)

Your uploads
Hi Cartoon network freak- I'm sorry about the nominations I have messaged you about above. I'm going to stop now, but I'm afraid there are some big problems with the images and music samples that you are uploading, so I'm here to ask you to please do what you can to fix the problems so that other people don't have to delete the images and music samples later. Here are some of the problems:
- Articles about songs do normally not need to have screenshots from the music video. So, screenshots from music videos are not like album covers, and we do not just assume that we can add them. This means that we should add them only when they show something that is particularly difficult to understand without a picture.
- That said, just because we can upload one album or single cover image, that doesn't mean that we should upload all of them. One cover should be enough, unless the extra covers are particularly important- for example, if they were controversial.
- Album covers should be no more than 300 by 300 pixels.
- Music samples should be no more than 30 seconds or 10% of the song's length, whichever is shorter, and no more than 64kbps.
- Each use of a non-free image or sample requires a separate, specific non-free use rationale explaining how it meets the non-free content criteria.
- You should try to use only a very small number of non-free images and non-free samples. For example, at the moment, there are nine music samples on Inna, when one or maybe two would be enough to show the kind of music she makes.
Could you please do what you can to sort out these problems with the images and samples that you have uploaded. If you do not do this, I will, and this will probably lead to a lot of images and samples being removed from articles. (Also, these articles will not be able to be promoted to good article status while there are these problems.) If you have any questions, please feel to contact me on my talk page. Josh Milburn (talk) 18:10, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Cartoon network fan- thanks for understanding and for making efforts to fix these problems. As you requested, I have deleted all of the files in Category:Inna audio samples. If it turns out that you did need any of those, please let me know and I will restore them for you. If there is anything else I can do to help, please do let me know. I may not be able to reply straight away, but I will do so as quickly as I can. Josh Milburn (talk) 14:50, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi CNF- the samples currently used in Inna lack rationales for that use. You need separate rationales for each use of a non-free file. So, for example, File:Hot (Sample).ogg currently has a rationale for its use in Hot (Inna song), but not for its use in Inna. This needs to be fixed before the article is ready for GAC. There may be other issues than just non-free content. I only looked at non-free content issues and I'm afraid that I am going to be away for a few days and so don't have time to look through the article right now. You are welcome to renominate the article, but whether it passes is up to the reviewer who takes it on. Josh Milburn (talk) 15:39, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
Since you are planning to do a complete review in the next seven days, you should revert your listing of the article as a GA (since the review is continuing) and restore the "GA nominee" template so it resumes its status as a nominated article under review. Would you like to do that, or would you rather I do so? I'm fine either way. Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 19:49, 12 September 2015 (UTC)

Make sure whatever you add is immediately supported by the source provided. In other words, when a reader clicks on the source provided, it should directly take them to the page where the listed information can be verified. Or if one needs to navigate through multiple pages to get to the page where the verifiable information lies, then in that case, you must provide specific instructions as to what to click on before they can retrieve the necessary information.--Harout72 (talk) 23:04, 25 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi Cartoon network freak. Thank you for adding the GA icon; I was waiting for the bot to execute it. Nevertheless, it reminded me of my outstanding obligation to you, being the reviewer of the GA nominee, "One". I will surely find time for this early next month, if not this October. Articol
Salut. --XXN, 15:19, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
Surrounded GAN
Hello, Cartoon network freak, I noticed that you passed my Surrounded GAN; thank you for your review. However, you did not adhere to the instructions of WP:GAN (i.e. you shouldn't add the GA icon to the article yourself, waiting for Legobot to do that. You need to alter the talk page template and do what the instructions say for the article to properly count as a GA). Regarding your Inna GAN, if I have time, I'll consider doing it. Thank you. Archiving rather than deleting sections
Hi, Cartoon, you seem to have a history of deleting items from your talk page, which makes it difficult for other editors to come here and interact with you. If you find your talk page is becoming too long for some reason, a better technique might be to archive it rather than delete sections. You may do as you wish, of course, but for the community's sake, please consider archiving the page when it becomes too long rather than deleting portions. Everything can always be found in the page's history, but it makes locating things much more work than would be necessary with an archive. For help with archiving pages, see WP:ARCHIVE. Thanks! GAN reviews
Hello Cartoon network freak, how are you? I just thought of saying hi and telling you of one minor squabble that I noticed. I keep the music article related GAN review page on my watchlist and have seen you reviewing articles (which are good I must say). However, I have noticed that you try to take always from the bottom of the list which consists of mostly just nominated new articles. Which does not give equal chance to the older nominations. Next time will you try to take on articles from older nominations please? Feel free to ignore my ramblings if you do not want to —IB [ Poke ] 15:18, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Cartoon network freak, I just had to fix the GA template for this GA nomination that you just listed; you didn't fill it out correctly. You'll want to review the instructions under WP:GANI#Passing for the steps you need to take and for the basic GA template you should be starting with and how you fill it out, for any future reviews you do. (There's also a section there for Failing and others for other review actions.)
If you passed any other nominations recently, they probably have the same issues. It would be helpful if you fixed them; if you're not sure how, you can let me know which ones those were and I can fix them for you. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:47, 17 September 2016 (UTC)

Advice
I would highly advise against reviewing so many of your friends nominations, as it looks suspicious that you are automatically regardless of the quality. — Calvin999 16:17, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Calvin999: Maybe it looks this way to you, but if you would find time to look on the "Work" section of my page, you would see that I review mostly articles nominated by various users, not only "my friends". I also try to review articles stalled back. Best, Cartoon network freak (talk) 16:39, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
- I think my advice still applies. I wouldn't frequently review nominations by the same person, friend or not, as it can me seen as doing a favour and ensuring passing. — Calvin999 16:56, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
romanian airplay
Hi, I tried to find out what are the chart position for Margaret's Cool Me Down on the Romanian Airplay top 100, however I don't speak a word in romanian. During the chart some chart positions are given in English however not in all of them and I'm trying to find the peak position for that song. At the moment I think that no. 22 is the highest position she has achieved on the chart (http://www.kissfm.ro/podcasturi/4149) however I'm not 100% sure. Could you please have a listen and tell me what are the other chart positions. I believe that the first time she appeared on the chart was on the 10th of july however im not too sure. Thanks in advance. ArturSik (talk) 22:44, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking your time to help me but now I am completely lost. The chart you've send me is nothing what the Kiss FM's chart is or maybe I'm wrong but I need to use the Kiss FM chart as a source, because the Media Forest chart doesn't give me the exact position, I have to calculate it myself. ArturSik (talk) 18:19, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- so which chart is the official one in Romania? it can't be both ArturSik (talk) 19:03, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- I do understand what you mean but you're saying that both are reliable. I don't question that, but only one of them could be main/official and the other one could be based on the official one. So from what I understand Media Forest is the official one and Kiss FM's chart in based on Media Forest records, combining radio and TV airplays. I understand that both could be included on Wikipedia in the article about the song, but not in Margaret's discography. ArturSik (talk) 19:34, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- sorry to bother you, I really don't want to be a pain, I just want to do it right. So you're saying that the chart published by Kiss FM is the official one, not the one from Media Forest website. Then why is this article based on Media Forest records? ArturSik (talk) 20:01, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- thanks a lot again ArturSik (talk) 21:12, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- Yup, thanks a lot. One more thing. Are you sure 22 is the peak position for this song? Cause this is what I understood from the audio on KISS FM website but I'm not 100% sure. ArturSik (talk) 20:41, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
Lost On You in Israel
Where is the proof for No.3 in Israel? The link given on the Wikipedia side tells me that LP is leading the Singles Charts!! --149.172.131.66 (talk) 21:49, 14 October 2016 (UTC)
- @149.172.131.66: You have to render the Israeli and international chart peaks by the number of plays before resulting an overall chart. The week I have added to the article (WK 30) shows up "Lost on You" peaked at number three, while the week provided prior to this (WK 29 I think) was even number six. Any questions? Best regards, Cartoon network freak (talk) 21:53, 14 October 2016 (UTC)
Removing sources
In future, please don't remove references in the notes of single chart templates until the main source updates, as you did at Lost on You. That extra source was needed as the main German chart had not updated at the time. Ss112 14:23, 17 October 2016 (UTC)

Cartoon network freak, I noticed that it's now been over three weeks since you asked IndianBio whether he was too busy to do the review, and have received no reply. This is actually one of two reviews that editor has open; the other, Talk:The Marble Index (album)/GA1, has been open longer with very little progress, and the latest promise to resume the review, now a week old, has yet to bear fruit.
I posted to IndianBio's talk page two days ago, requesting immediate attention to both of these neglected reviews; despite a significant number of edits in the interim, none of them have been to the reviews. This continuing lack of response is simply unfair to you and the nominator of the other article.
If you would like me to, I am prepared to end the current review and put the nomination back in the pool of unreviewed nominations with no loss of seniority, so it will still be first in the Song section. The GA Cup starts next week, and I imagine this will be picked up for review fairly quickly once it does, if not even before then. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:21, 25 October 2016 (UTC)

GA reviews
Hi. I'm concerned your recent GA reviews aren't thorough enough. Have you read the instructions for reviewing? You seem to offer a lot of "happy-to-glad" wordsmithing changes. That's insufficient. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:39, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Chris troutman: I think you're wrong here. I usually go very deep with my reviews, here a list of them if you want to look at some, but the latest ones were just at a better level, both of the writing, aesthetic, etc. Also, I have reviewed dozens of articles in the past, for which I have read the instructions more than twice. A while ago End-Year Chart 2015 (Romania) was suggested for deletion but it was kept.[1] but someone has now asked at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2016 November 14 for this decision to be overturned. This will not succeed and the article will be kept (I'm virtually certain). However, the nominator looks to be correct in that the wrong chart has been included in the article. Would you like to comment at DRV or, if you agree, correct the article? Best wishes and thank you for creating the article in the first place! Thincat (talk) 09:33, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!
Hello, Cartoon network freak. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
Semicolons
Hello. The use of semicolons is not really preferable for "subheaders". If you are going to do this, the bold text mark up is preferred for screenreader users. Actually, subheader text with equal signs are preferred over everything but I find that gaudy. Here's the discussion if you'd like to see --Jennica✿ talk / contribs 02:32, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

4th Annual GA Cup - Round 1
Greetings, GA Cup competitors! November 28, 2016 was supposed to mark the end of the first round. However, we needed 16 competitors to move on, and currently only 10 have completed articles. Thus, the judges have come together to let the participants decide what we shall do. Please complete this quick survey to let us know whether you would like a holiday break. There will be two options for what we will do next in terms of Round 2 depending on the results of this poll.
We apologize for sending out this newsletter late. Cheers from 3family6, Figureskatingfan, Jaguar, MrWooHoo, and Zwerg Nase! Problem with GA closes
Cartoon network freak, I'm afraid you are not properly creating the GA template on the article talk page when you close your GA reviews.
Please don't attempt to cut down the former GA nominee template into a GA template. Instead, follow the instructions at WP:GANI#Passing: replace the old template with {{GA|~~~~~|topic=|page=}}
. The tildes automatically turn into the date/time.
I've fixed Talk:Red Carpet (Namie Amuro song) and Talk:Put Yourself in My Place (Kylie Minogue song), and will probably go looking for other GA templates with similar problems; going forward, please use this method when you pass a GA, and (if you haven't been) the analogous method for the FailedGA template described at WP:GANI#Failing. Thank you for your cooperation. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:26, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
FAC re-nom
Hi, just to explain this a bit further, per instructions at the top of WP:FAC, we ask editors whose nominations have been archived to wait two weeks before re-nominating to try and ensure the article is in the best possible shape before it comes back. To that end, I'd suggest not only making sure all points from the previous FAC are actioned (you may well have done that already) but also having an informal peer review on the article talk page where you ping those who didn't support, or who opposed, to see they feel about the article now and check if there's anything else they'd recommend before you re-nominate at the appropriate time. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 07:15, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
DYK for Heaven (Inna song)
On 28 December 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Heaven (Inna song), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the refrain of "Heaven" by Inna is written in a language invented by the singer and her label? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Heaven (Inna song). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Heaven (Inna song)), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

CNF, are you around for sometime? I am addressing the reviews for "Nothing Really Matters" and "The Power of Good-Bye" so you can check them soon. 4th GA Cup - Round 2
Greetings, GA Cup competitors! December 29th marked the end of the first round, after it was extended from its previously scheduled conclusion at the end of November. Because of the smaller pool of contestants this year, it was decided to keep sign-ups open throughout the month of December. This extension proved to be very helpful as we saw that more users signed up and completed many reviews. Krishna Chaitanya Velaga earned an impressive 402 points, followed by Cartoon network freak with a close 338 points. Shearonink who signed up after our extension was in third with 170 points. We had a rule clarification in Round 1 which was that many articles were being passed with blatant copyright violations and plagarism occurring in the articles. Thus, the judges have concluded that if an article is passed even if it has a copyright violation/plagarism, we will not provide points for that article as it wouldn't be considered a "complete review" under the scoring rules. In the end, 94 articles were reviewed by 14 users who will all advance to Round 2. The judges had planned on having 16 contestants advance but since only 14 did, we are changing the pools in this round. We will be having 2 pools of 3 and 2 pools of 4 in Round 2, with the top 2 in each pool advancing to Round 3 as well as the top participant ("9th place") of all remaining competitors. Round 2 will begin on January 1 at 00:00:00 UTC and will end on January 29 at 23:59:59 UTC. Information about Round 2 and the pools can be found here. David Bowie GA song reviews
Hey thank you for stepping up to review the articles for GA. I appreciate you taking the time, and especially offering to help so quickly!
In general I am available to respond fairly quickly. I have already helped push 2 related articles to GA status (Never Let Me Down and Glass Spider Tour), so I think I have a good understanding of what's involved. In the end I would like to push the whole group (Never Let Me Down, Glass Spider Tour, "Day-In Day-Out", "Time Will Crawl", "Never Let Me Down" and "Glass Spider") to Good Topic status - I think that just means getting them all to GA quality (based on the criteria I read), but if there's more involved please let me know so I can get that work lined up. Thank you!! 87Fan (talk) 19:01, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
Hi! Am not sure if you have notice it or not, but the annual editing competition Wikipedia:WikiCup has started and the signup is open till 5 February 2017. The cup encourages content improvement and tries to make editing on Wikipedia more fun; and it did that for me last year. I have hence decided to drop this friendly note hoping that you would take part. Although the signup ends on 5th Feb, the earlier you sign in the earlier you start scoring. Happy New Year and Happy Editing!
And thanks for the new year card. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 04:37, 6 January 2017 (UTC)

Unlocked (Alexandra Stan album)
Hello:
The copy edit that you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Unlocked (Alexandra Stan album) has been completed.
I had to check one sentence in the article which cited Everything Express. Looking at this site I would say that it is simply a place where anyone can post a blog on various subjects and has little if any credibility. Certainly it lacks the credibility of say New Music Express or Rolling Stone. I would suggest that you need to find mainstream, well-known sources to use instead of Everything Express to give this section of the article real credibility.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Regards,
4th GA Cup - Wrap Up
Hello, GA Cup competitors! Saturday, April 1 concluded the 2016-2017 GA Cup. 64 reviews were completed by our finalists. Although the backlog increased by 42 over the reviewing period instead of declining, the increase suggests that the contest is encouraging editors to nominate articles for review. Congratulations to Shearonink, who is the winner of the Cup, finishing with 672 points! Once again, just as in last round, this is more than the point totals for all the other competitors combined! It was a close race for second place between Krishna Chaitanya Velaga, who achieved 164 points, and Sturmvogel_66, who earned 150. Though Sturmvogel_66 reviewed one more article than Krishna Chaitanya Velaga, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga managed to earn 14 points more due to reviewing older articles. Our two wildcard competitors, Kees08 and Chris troutman, came in fourth and fifth, respectively. There were some bumps in the competition this time: The sign-up deadline and the first round were both extended due to fewer competitors signing up then was planned for. And there were delays in tallying points and getting out the newsletter. The judges apologize for this latter difficulty. Lastly, mid-way through the competition we bid farewell to Zwerg Nase, who stepped down from their position as judge due to other commitments. Information about the Final can be found here. Thank you to all of our competitors, and congrats to our winners! Cheers from Figureskatingfan, 3family6, Jaguar, and MrWooHoo. Hello. Would you care to review or comment at my nomination of House of Music for featured status? The previous nomination did not gather enough commentary, so anything at all would be appreciated. Dan56 (talk) 23:19, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
Per the discussion at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Albums/Archive_46#Piero_Scaruffi_-_Final_Verdict_on_using_him_as_a_source_in_reviews there's a very clear consensus here that Scaruffi is not to be used as a source in music/album articles in any capacity. In December, you reviewed an article including this blog as source 1. Please, be careful, all the sources are to be wp:RS. His website is a wp:self published source. Since this is a long running dispute, I wanted to let you know that information. I'm gonna add a note under your review of this GA Woovee (talk) 20:35, 14 January 2017 (UTC)

Unlocked
Hi -- I wanted to leave you an extra note about Unlocked, in case it doesn't get promoted. I'm serious about being willing to help. I gather from your user page that you're not a native speaker of English. If so, your English is very good for a second language, but to get to FA quality takes some skill with prose that not even every native speaker has. I can see you're knowledgeable about Stan; I think you just need to partner with someone who can take care of the prose. Best of luck with the article. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 21:13, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
- I saw you added a ping to the FAC after it was closed, but it didn't actually ping me; you have to sign at the same time as you ping, or the ping fails. (And one shouldn't really edit a FAC after closure, though that's not a big deal.) Anyway, would you like me to help out with the article? If so I'll transfer the outstanding comments to the article talk page and we can work there. It probably will be a couple of days, or more, before I can get to it; I have several FAC reviews in the works right now. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 15:37, 21 January 2017 (UTC)
4th GA Cup - Round 3
Hello, GA Cup competitors! Sunday saw the end of Round 2. Shearonink took out Round 2 with an amazing score of 499. In second place, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga earned an astounding 236 points, and in third place, Cartoon network freak received 136 points. Originally, we had plans for one wild card for 9th place, however it appears that both Chris troutman and J Milburn were tied for 9th place. Therefore, we have decided to have both advance to Round 3. In Round 2, 91 reviews were completed! At the beginning of this GA Cup, the longest wait was over 7 months; at the end of Round 2, the longest wait had decreased to a little over 6 months. It's clear that we continue to make a difference at GAN and throughout Wikipedia, something we should all be proud of. Thanks to all our competitors for helping to make the GA Cup a continued success, and for your part in helping other editors improve articles. We hope to see all remaining users fighting it out in Round 3 so we can keep decreasing the backlog. To qualify for the third round, contestants had to earn the two highest scores in each of the four pools in Round 2; plus, one wildcard. For Round 3, users were placed in 3 random pools of 3. To qualify for the Final of the 3rd Annual GA Cup, the top user in each pool will progress, and there will also be one wildcard. This means that the participant who comes in 4th place (all pools combined) will also move on. Round 3 has already started and will end on February 26 at 23:59:59 UTC. Information about Round 3 and the pools can be found here. Also, we'd like to announce the departure of judge Zwerg Nase. We thank him for all his hardwork and hope to see him back in the future. Dec. No. 5946/212/2015 copyedit
Hello, Cartoon network freak. This is a courtesy notice that the copy edit you requested for Dec. No. 5946/212/2015 at the Guild of Copy Editors requests page is now complete. All feedback welcome! Good luck with GA and all the best, Miniapolis 00:27, 11 February 2017 (UTC) |
"Self-made" files
As part of my recent copyedit of Dec. No. 5946/212/2015, I clicked on File:Alexandra Stan court.png to add alt text. Although you claimed it was your own work, the image was apparently scanned. A check of your uploads indicates that most of them erroneously claim own work and are only usable as fair use. This is copyright violation, which the WMF takes very seriously because it makes the foundation vulnerable to litigation. Please stop uploading files until you understand WP:CFAQ, and change any incorrect licensing on your existing uploads (most of which are at WP:FFD already some of which are properly tagged). Miniapolis 14:56, 11 February 2017 (UTC)
- Miniapolis: The files questioned by you are actually made by me. I usually upload screenshots of music videos, for which I use Snipping Tool to copy the respective scene of the music video (does anyone else proceed in another way?). We have the same case on the court image: I used Snipping Tool to copy a frame of this video of a news channel; 0:18 uploaded on YouTube. You stated it was scanned, but it looks this way to you because of the poor quality. The other files are ok as far as I know; I used the correct license for audio samples (of songs downloaded legally from iTunes) and required cover artworks for album articles. Best, Cartoon network freak (talk) 15:34, 11 February 2017 (UTC)
- Most of your recent image uploads seem to be properly tagged as fair use, but legally downloading an audio file from iTunes does not transfer its copyright to you. YouTube contains many copyright violations. The copyright of the screenshot in question is probably held by the news channel, so it needs to be licensed as fair use with {{Non-free television screenshot}} and a fair use rationale. The copyright to recently-released audio files usually belongs to the artist, so they need to be licensed with {{Non-free audio sample}} and a FUR. Copyright is complicated, and I'm also still learning. All the best, Miniapolis 16:14, 11 February 2017 (UTC)
- Miniapolis:I have solved everything you've suggested (take a look!); the audio files were already ok! Best, Cartoon network freak (talk) 16:48, 11 February 2017 (UTC)

Hi there Cartoon network freak. I noticed you have Alexandra Stan nominated for GAN. I also have a GAN in the same category: M2M (band). I was wondering if you'd like to trade reviews? If you review my nomination I'll review yours. Actually since it's pretty short I'd be happy to review 9 Lives (Alexandra Stan song) as well if you review my nomination. I am not proposing that we just support each others nominations - please let me know if you see anything wrong with the article I have nominated as I will do the same with yours. - I'm very, very, sorry, but, per this discussion, it appears that I made a mistake. You were right in your assessment that you wouldn't make it to the next round, I botched the whole thing in my calculations. I don't know how I can make amends for this - I'm willing to take on any unfinished reviews that you have. I'm so sorry.--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 15:05, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
4th GA Cup - The Final
Hello, GA Cup competitors! Sunday, February 26 saw the end of Round 3. Shearonink finished in first with 616 points, which is more than the point totals for all the other competitors combined! In second place, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga earned an impressive 152 points, followed by Sturmvogel_66 in third with 111 points. Chris troutman and Kees08 each received a wild-card and were able to advance to the Final Round. There was a major error on the part of the judges, and initially, 8 users were advanced instead of 5. This has been corrected, and we sincerely apologize for this confusion. In Round 3, 71 reviews were completed! At the beginning of this GA Cup, the longest wait was over 7 months; at the end of Round 3, the longest wait is still holding steady at a little over 6 months, the same as for the previous round. By the end of all three Rounds, the total number of nominations increased slightly - this suggests that users are more willing to nominate, knowing that their articles will be reviewed. We hope to see all remaining users fighting it out in the Final so we can keep tackling the backlog. In the Final Round, the user with the highest score will be the winner. The Final has already started and will end on March 31st at 23:59:59 UTC. Information about Finals and the pools can be found here. Good luck and have fun! Can you tell me if I can publish this article today? I think the article respects somehow the criteria for notability. — MUST BE Love on the Brain. 13:55, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Love on the Brain: The article is well-written and is backed up by strong sources. I don't really know if it meets the criteria for notability, but you can try to make an article about it today and see the responses to it. If users say it is not notable and want to delete it, you may accept their thoughts and try to further develop the article in your draft until she will really be notable. Please leave edit summaries
In checking the history of Alexandra Stan (a new copyeditor requested a check of their work), I noticed that you made a number of major edits without leaving an edit summary. Since it's good practice, please do so. All the best, Miniapolis 16:11, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
Open but inactive GA reviews
Cartoon network freak, you currently have three opened but unstarted GA reviews from February and early March:
- February 21: Talk:Guava Jelly (song)/GA1
- February 21: Talk:Sober (Selena Gomez song)/GA1
- March 3: Talk:Genic/GA2
All of them have been open for at least four weeks, and you stated a few days ago on the Guava Jelly review page that My time is limited during this period.
Since you don't have time to do these, and haven't for over a month now, I would like to offer to arrange to have the review pages deleted and the nominations put back into the pool of those awaiting reviewers. Please let me know right away, so these can again be made available to be reviewed. Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 20:50, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
- @BlueMoonset: Could you do that? Many thanks, I'm very busy at the moment. I've made a mistake when I took all 3 articles for review. Best, Cartoon network freak (talk) 08:34, 1 April 2017 (UTC)
- Cartoon network freak, they've been deleted. Can I request that you not open more than one GA review at a time, and not open another review after that until the ongoing review has reached the point where you can put it on hold? That will help avoid situations like the above, where you have three open and unstarted reviews. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:52, 1 April 2017 (UTC)
Performing cut-and-paste moves
I'm really confused as to how you thought cutting the content from Beautiful Mess (song) then pasting it into Beautiful Mess (Diamond Rio song) was acceptable. Cut-and-paste moves are never the right way to move pages. Request that pages be moved either by tagging the page/starting a discussion, or if you consider it uncontroversial, requesting at WP:RM/TR. Also, your additions to City Lights (Blanche song) have been removed. Wordpress blogs, or any type of blog, fail WP:RS, so please do not use them as sources on Wikipedia. Thank you. Truth Serum (EP)
Can I please ask you to review Truth Serum (EP)? The article is on pending since January. — MUST BE Love on the Brain. 17:26, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Love on the Brain: Could you review Yodel It! in return? Cartoon network freak (talk) 17:52, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- I'm not an administrator, i can review it anyway? — MUST BE Love on the Brain. 18:44, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- Of course you can review GANs without being an administrator (as I am). You can try if you want to. Best, Cartoon network freak (talk) 18:46, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- Of course I'm willing to do that, the sources are in romanian and I speak romanian, so yeah. — MUST BE Love on the Brain. 20:28, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

Edit summaries
Hey, just a heads up try not to scream like this. Just say "expansion" or "expanded article for GA" or similar. And btw congrats on your growing number of GAs =) Best – jona ✉ 12:52, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
FAC
Hello again! I hope that everything is going well for you. If possible, I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide any feedback/commentary on my current FAC. I understand that it is a busy time of the year so I completely understand if you do not have the time or energy to look at this nomination. Thank you either way. Good luck with your current projects and have a wonderful rest of your day. Aoba47 (talk) 20:03, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Refspam?
I don't know why you re-inserted these five identical links to a website that sells downloads. Wikipedia is not a platform for promotion. Please use reliable sources like news publications, magazines, journals and books.- MrX 13:51, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- @MrX: The links aren't identical, they are for different countries the song was released in per iTunes Store. It is meant to cite "worldwide". There's no "promotion" pourpose or stuff like that. I have promoted over 30 Good Articles in the past where I used this method, and no one had a problem with that. Best, Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:32, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- The links are trivially different indeed, but iTunes is a terrible source for a claim that a single was released worldwide. It's also meaningless, since everything on the internet is wordwide by default. You can't use WP:PRIMARY sources like iTunes this way (Also see WP:SYNTH). If the worldwide release is a noteworthy fact, then it should very easy to reference it to a news article. - MrX 14:39, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
Re: Copy-editing
I do like and thank you for your copy editing. There's just one issue. It's the Kraven the Hunter image. I think if we use Earth-616 versions of classic Spider-Man villains who are already on Wikipedia as a fair use image. We might could use images from List of Spider-Man enemies or Sinister Six instead of just one character. But overall I think we should use an actual Earth-65 version of the character. Maybe like this image of Matt Murdock? What are your thoughts? Jhenderson 777 20:14, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Jhenderson777: Of course you can change the image. I just added one because I wanted to make reading so much content easier for readers. I'm glad you like my copy edit! Best regards, Cartoon network freak (talk) 04:49, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
Todos Los Romances GAR
Hey Cartoon network freak! I was wondering if you mind reviewing Todos Los Romances for GA. It's a short article since it's just a compilation album. Thanks! Erick (talk) 13:36, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
pre-GAN notice
Regarding your edit summary here, I'm not sure how much you've previously been involved with the article, but please be sure to at least consult with major contributors prior to nomination. It's gone through lots of debate (particularly 3 years ago) and has previously been a mess. Snuggums (talk / edits) 21:43, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
- @SNUGGUMS: Hi! I have already archived all dead links and I'm planning to copy-edit the whole article section by section. I am also looking forward to consult with major contributors prior to nomination per your message. Thank you, Cartoon network freak (talk) 05:16, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. Snuggums (talk / edits) 05:17, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
Yodel It!
Hello:
I am in the middle of copy editing this article for the GOCE. There are some inconsistencies that need to be clarified.
In the lead it says: "The track was composed by Mihai Alexandru and Alexandra Niculae..". I take the word "composed" to mean "written". Done
Yet in the Background and Composition section it says: ""Yodel It!" was solely (my emphasis) written by Alexandra Niculae, while production was handled by Mihai Alexandru. Done
Later in the section it says: "It was eventually revealed that Alexandru initially wrote "Yodel It!" for Swiss band Timebelle... Not done - assume this should read Niculae instead?
I have tried unsuccessfully to find clarification. Can you sort out the roles these two played clearly for me? This should have been brought up by the article's GA reviewer as it is an important detail.
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
Also... in the Background and Composition is this sentence: "The instrumental of the song was exclusively remastered in Sweden for the Eurovision participation."
Does this mean the song’s instrumentation (my emphasis) was remastered in Sweden before the Ilincia/Florea version was released, or is this a different version. Why is the word “exclusively” used here?
- @Twofingered Typist: The song's karaoke version has been sent to specialists in Sweden to remaster and add some extra thing to it for better dynamic etc. The duet had already been released until that point, but the remastering had been done especially for their Kiev appearance in the Grand Final. Cartoon network freak (talk) 21:03, 11 July 2017 (UTC) Done

Thanks Twofingered Typist (talk) 20:35, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
Update 12 July My c/e is virtually done except for the clarification I requested of the inconsistencies. Let me know the answers and I will finish it. Twofingered Typist (talk) 13:53, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Twofingered Typist: Yes, it should read Niculae. Sorry, Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:44, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
Ruleta (Inna song)
After another user removed it, I saw you wrote in an edit summary on Ruleta (Inna song) that "the Serbian chart is not fake". It's listed under WP:BADCHARTS: "Serbian Pop Top Lista: "TOP 50 SRBIJA" chart at poptoplista.com. Rankings are apparently combinations of radio airplay in Serbia with votes of Web site visitors." It's not official, and it's not published by the IFPI, which, by adding the publisher parameter saying "IFPI Serbia" you are claiming it is, when this is clearly not true. It is a website published by "ProSound". When translated, the line at the top of the website says "Weekly charts foreign singles created based on your votes"; indeed, there are "vote" buttons next to the singles. This absolutely discounts it from being a reliable source. Its purported methodology of partially being based on "the number of broadcasts on radio stations in Serbia" is also not elaborated on and this could be a false claim for all anybody knows.
