Carbrera (born May 7, 1999) is an American actor, musician, and Wikipedian. He is known for starring as Pete in the independent short Classy (2017) and Elias in the independent short film Mentality (2018). Beginning in 2012, he began work on his first studio album under the title Gold. Afraid that the project was not cohesive, the record was scrapped in favor of a more progressive sound, in which he took influence from dance-pop, electronic, and house music. He independently-released his first song on September 29, 2017, called "Abundance". Two months later, he played a soccer player in Kayleigh Phillips's short film One Fourth (2017). Carbrera's debut album is expected to be released in late 2018 and is inspired by his move to Minneapolis and transition to adulthood. He has also written two screenplays, Remember Me in the Stars and Mind Street, which he hopes will eventually become motion pictures. He is also in the process of writing a non-fiction piece titled Lovelies and Lunatics: A Collective.
He is currently a student at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and is majoring in architecture. Carbrera is a devout vegetarian and member of PETA, speaks English and Spanish fluently, is currently studying Italian, and has been involved in several charitable groups, including Art for Birds, a non-profit organization that raises awareness about bird deaths due to collisions caused by windows.
