Need information edit

Hi,

My approach is a little special... I come here because I saw that you were very involved in the best-selling music artists list. I know that a certain Salvabl has been a disruptive user here on the English wikipedia (because I come from the Spanish wikipedia at the base) and in particular on the said page. I am part of the wiki-anti-vandalism. And it is true that the latter led me into an editing war in which I have no place (still on the Spanish Wikipedia). Many users have reported his actions (increased sales of Michael Jackson, sales/certifications not coinciding with sources, etc...). I see that here the English Wikipedia is not left out! Can you tell me more about this user? Because I think I recognize (and I'm not alone) actions that sometimes resemble vandalism. Although I could see that this one had participated in a long consensus (on the English wikipedia) this one has further increased the sales of Michael Jackson lately. But that has been rectified.

Question about the Japan chart book edit

Hello, as you are an expert in the field of record certifications, I just wanted to know if you know somebody who has the book Oricon Album Chart Book: Complete Edition 1970–2005, or probably have it yourself. It looks like a vandal in the German Wkipedia heavily used it for certification reference, but there is nobody in de-WP we know of who has that book, and as not all of his edits were malicious, we should better be checking, if possible... --Ali1610 (talk) 10:32, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

RIAA certification numbers, and actual physical sales numbers edit

Several years ago, there was a dispute regarding the Certifications table on album pages and whether or not we include pure album sales in its own column with sources (as certification numbers, and pure sales numbers aren’t always the same). This discussion has recently been re-opened here. If you have the chance, please comment. --Blastmaster11 (talk) 01:15, 6 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
