Initial comments edit

  • The single cover image is too large; at 315x315 p, it should suffice at 300x300 p
  • I believe the alt parameter could be a bit more descriptive
  • The producers should be mentioned by their full names in this parameter
  • The infobox says "reggae" and "pop", but the lead says "reggae-pop"?
  • Music video?
  • The lead is far too generic for GA standards
  • "which debuted and peaked at number 148 on the Billboard 200.[6]" --> This is trivial and unnecessary
  • "This is the second collaboration by Bassy and G-Eazy, following "Some Kind of Drug", a track on G-Eazy's third studio album When It's Dark Out (2015), peaking at number 24 on the US Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart.[7]" --> Again, this is trivial and unnecessary
  • "the song was finally released" --> Remove "finally"
  • "About three weeks later, it was sent to rhythmic contemporary radio[10] and contemporary hit radio in the following month.[11]" --> Specific dates would be better instead of basic timespans
  • The sample of "You & Me" is too long per WP:MOS and needs to be reduced or removed
  • ""You & Me" lyrics are the recall to memories the singer shared with a girl, and hoping she forgot anything about him." --> This sentence doesn't make sense to me
  • Additionally, the above statement is also completely unsourced
  • "labelled" --> "labeled"
  • "setting fans up for summer with vibes that are perfect for a relaxing day on the beach with your significant other." --> Plagiarized from Complex
  • "funky, feel-good and basically sounds like summer in the span 3 minutes and 38 seconds." --> Plagiarized from Hotnewhiphop
  • There are only two critical reviews for the song?
  • "and later stayed" --> When did it stay at number 77?
  • If it is Bassy's first song on the chart, then it would be redundant to say highest
  • Same thing here on the Pop Digital chart
  • "Pop charts" --> "pop chart"
  • ""You & Me" debuted on the ARIA Charts on the week of August 13, 2016 at number 100 as the EP Groovy People" --> I'm not sure this would count for "You & Me", and instead would be the peak for Groovy People
  • "However" is not a good transition from the UK to Ireland
  • I see there is a music video for the song, yet there is no mention of it here in the article
  • "Various" is not a region, and the source only confirms the United States
  • Reference #1 – No access date or date
  • Reference #3 – You don't need the publisher for Complex
  • Reference #5 – A good example of what Ref #1 should look like
  • Reference #8 – I am not sure on how reliable Hotnewhiphop is
  • Reference #9 – iTunes should not be linked here and should instead be linked in Ref #1
  • Reference #12 – It looks like this is a fansite which is follows WP:NOR
  • Reference #13 – Hotnewhiphop has already been linked and again, the reliability seems questionable
  • Reference #14 – This site is definitely unreliable and would also pertain to WP:NOR
  • Reference #15 – MetroLyrics should never be used as a source for an article besides a brief mention in "External links"
  • Reference #18 – Seems unreliable due to its blog format
  • Reference #19 – Seems unreliable due to its blog format
  • Reference #29 – Isn't this the same as Ref #16?
  • Why is "Island Records singles" one of the categories when it's not mentioned in the infobox or lead?
I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to quick fail this article. There are far too many problems for it to be listed at GA, and two entire sentences are plagiarized from their sources, which is completely against WP:RGA. I would be happy to take a look at it again in the future, but for now I can't pass this or even put it on hold. Regards, Carbrera (talk) 20:34, 3 September 2016 (UTC).Reply
