tyEdit

you're the one who's put in so much work on the Kes article - we should be thanking you. "Thank You" :-) — Ched :  ?  — 02:34, 9 August 2019 (UTC)

  • Aww, thank you! Aoba47 (talk) 02:59, 9 August 2019 (UTC)

All Money Is LegalEdit

Hi. Thanks for the thanks. I was giving the article a skim to see if it needed any copy editing before it appeared as a TFA. Surprise, surprise  , it didn't. A very sound article. Nice work. Gog the Mild (talk) 15:51, 12 August 2019 (UTC)

  • Thank you! I was very fortunate to get a lot of very helpful feedback during the FAC so I really owe it all to the editors that I have collaborated with. It is always nice to get as many different perspectives as possible. Aoba47 (talk) 15:53, 12 August 2019 (UTC)

When You Get a Little LonelyEdit

Hi Aoba, how have you been? Long time no talk. I just want to say, I really like what you've done with When You Get a Little Lonely. It's a huge improvement. I hope I can do a review of it, possibly next week if I have time. I've been busy with another kind of life project and haven't had much Wikipedia time lately. By the way, I see you've made use of Newspapers.com. Coincidentally, a couple of months ago (before I started my current quasi-Wikibreak) using Newspapers.com I also found a goldmine of new references to expand a couple of articles that I brought to GA several years ago. The articles are on the backburner for now, but I'm really excited to get back to them when I have time. (I did the one week free trial of Newspapers.com and took screenshots of lots of articles so I can use them anytime.) Take care, talk to you later! Moisejp (talk) 02:02, 16 August 2019 (UTC)

  • @Moisejp: Thank you for the message! Apologies again for how I left things with you last time. You were correct with your assessment that the article was underprepared. I was able to get access to Newspapers.com through the Wikipedia Library Card Platform, and it was a lot of fun to dive deep into the archives to learn more about the album. I am trying to be more thorough with how I conduct research and take on projects. I completely understand if you do not have the time to do a review; you have already helped immensely with the article so thank you for that. I would be interested to see how your Wikipedia work goes as you are always a great editor on here. I am doing well, thank you! Just trying my best. How is everything with you? I cannot believe it is already August. You take care too! Aoba47 (talk) 02:36, 16 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Interesting, I did not realize Newspapers.com was available through Wikipedia Library Card Platform. A number of months ago I signed up to NewspaperArchive.com through Wikipedia Library Card Platform, which was a little bit fruitful, but Newspapers.com was about ten times more fruitful. I'll have to look into that sometime when I have time, for future projects. I'm doing really well too, thanks for asking! Moisejp (talk) 03:00, 16 August 2019 (UTC)
  • It is pretty awesome that Wikipedia provides resources like this. Unfortunately, since I graduated from school, I lost a lot of access to resources so it is nice that the website offers this. Aoba47 (talk) 03:47, 16 August 2019 (UTC)

DYK for A Rugrats KwanzaaEdit

On 19 August 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article A Rugrats Kwanzaa, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that "A Rugrats Kwanzaa" was one of the first mainstream television episodes to feature Kwanzaa? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/A Rugrats Kwanzaa. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, A Rugrats Kwanzaa), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
