Speedy deletion nomination of File:Pratap Bhanu Mehta meeting.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Pratap Bhanu Mehta meeting.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Potential Block edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at The Forum (shopping mall), you may be blocked from editing. Also, I will block you if you insert pictures which are copyrighted.Even if reliable sources were in fact added, making such a claim in an article where it isn't really relevant would still be inappropriate.(59.92.169.52 (talk) 15:02, 15 February 2012 (UTC))GoringoReply

Final warning edit

Copyright is something that Wikipedia takes very seriously. You cannot add material to Wikipedia that is directly copied from another website, like you just did at Centre for Public Policy. If you re-add copyrighted material again, I will request that you be blocked. Additionally, please do not remove maintenance tags (the notability tag) without providing some explanation or fixing the problem. At this point, that article contains no evidence that the organization meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines for organizations. Qwyrxian (talk) 08:41, 24 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Kaushik Basu, on the 9% GDP growth, Aug 2011.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Kaushik Basu, on the 9% GDP growth, Aug 2011.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 10:12, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ministry of Defence (India) edit

Hi, Ajayupai95. I am writing you here to answer your question at the Teahouse, where I am a host (you, too, I think?). I looked at the above article and my best advice to you is, Stop now! I am not commenting on the content as I don't have, nor do I wish to acquire, any knowledge on the subject. What I do know is Wiki policy, etiquette and procedure. The content you removed was referenced. Not well referenced, but referenced. You should not refer to the removal of referenced material as vandalism removal, and you didn't. You were basically starting the WP:BRD cycle. A better procedure rather than leaving a novella's worth of text for an edit summary would have been to start a discussion at the talk page. The other editor should have started a discussion at the talk page and should not have called his revision "vandalism deleted", although the removal of referenced material could under some circumstances could be considered vandalism. So far, I don't see any problems, just mistakes. However, again without starting a discussion on the talk page, you have removed it again. This is approaching an edit war which is why I have asked you to stop. If you are feeling emotional about this, go have a cuppa tea, or walk the dog, or whatever works for you. When you get back, start a discussion! If the other editor does not respond, leave a polite note on his talk page asking him to come talk about it. If he still refuses, wait a few days before you do anything further. Make sure you have an argument you can support with reliable references, put your reasoning at the talk page with references, and go to WP:3O and request a third opinion. If you continue on your present course of reverting his replacements, you risk a block for edit warring. Gtwfan52 (talk) 06:46, 12 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

IP hopping user, reverting your edits... edit

Dear Mr. TheOriginalSoni... You saw for yourself how this editor functions... Can we do anything about this??? I do not want to take this case any further, because I don't wan to stoop to the levels of such editors, but this user's attitude is appalling!!! It most certainly is a COI, why else would there be such a vengeful revert... I am sorry but this has to be resolved, once he/she gets away I don't know what else can be manipulated... I'm sorry but this will have to end... And I'm sorry if I've requested a block of the user too soon and in anger but I hope you will agree... Would you advice me to undo his revert??? Its all our call, I asked Gtwfan52 who was exceptionally helpful and helped me access your help... You guys are great and I'm positive that matters will have resolved!!! BTW why in the name of God did you RETIRE??? We need people like you... Anyone would say that looking at your contributions... So two requests-1. Solve this case, 2. Plz get back on Wikipedia!!! Ajayupai95 (talk) 12:18, 13 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Keep Calm and Carry On. There is no need to panic. And certainly no need to Assume Bad faith. You don't need to be angry. You don't need to be trying to block this user. Edit wars happen all the time. Just keep editing Wikipedia, and remember to keep your emotions back while editing (That is why matters escalate here 90% of the time)
Just chill and continue editing Wikipedia as you are doing. I would also suggest that you get Adopted to familiarize yourself with editing here.
Sorry about the retirement, but until I have given my JEE, I wont be frequent enough here [Atleast that's what I keep telling myself and everyone].

Ok, I have had enough... edit

Hi, BusterSeven, Gtwfan52 and TherOriginalSoni... I think this will have effectively ruined me appearance as a calm and straightforward editor, So be It!! In all my edits(part from this exception) I have made as unemotional edits as possible, explaining why it was done and also requesting others to ask me why I've made the edits... Now I find that this one IP hopping user is ruining it all... By now even you are of the impression that I'm edit warring, but if you did look thru you would have seen that he/she started it!!! I've had enough of this guy so I will wait for a few days, then I will go thru Ministry of Defence (India), its talk page, and if he hasn't replied, I will revert my edit with an unemotional summary and let it go... As much as I'm interested in these articles I will let it go, and leave it you guys to do what you feel is right...I must say that you guys have been supremely helpful and I will always repect that... I would still wish to clear my bad image by stating that I will let this go and be the better person by not getting involved in such a useless fight... Thank You and Forgive me!!! Ajayupai95 (talk) 12:36, 13 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • I have no idea what you are trying to do, or claiming to do. I think (One can never be sure) that you might be correct in the issue, but I dont think you are right on the etiquette to handle it. This user has most certainly been unreasonable in marking your edits as vandalism and rubbish, but that does not mean you slap a level 4 notice on him. I would have tried a level 1 or 2 notice, and wait until he replies. If not, you can always bring the issue to discussion, as you did by coming to the Teahouse. But dont lose your head over this one. Its a very minor issue, and things like that happen all the time. Just add the pages to your watchlist and keep an eye on further changes. You'll know when this guy trying to revert/discuss the iissue. Once again, Keep Calm and Carry On. TheOriginalSoni (talk) 12:45, 13 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of The Respawnables for deletion edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The Respawnables is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Respawnables until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 19:34, 15 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ref formatting wasn't a problem, in fact I fixed it already for you through WP:REFLINKS. My concern was the failure of WP:GNG, and per policy, this necessitates a discussion about possible deletion. If you can address GNG concerns, the article will be kept. Also, if it is deleted, you can always ask for it to be userfied so you can keep it and improve it until such a time it becomes notable and can be restored. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 13:59, 16 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

College of Basic Science and Humanities edit

I think you need to go back and read the speedy deletion criteria. I just declined your speedy deletion nomination of College of Basic Science and Humanities. You tagged it with three different criteria and none of them applied to the article when you tagged it.

  • A7, educational institutions are exempt from deletion under A7.
  • A1, only applies when there isnt enough content to understand what the article is about. Looking at the version you tagged I could tell this is about a college in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India and that it is an Education and Research Institution.
  • A3 does not cover a page having only an infobox and this article had an infobox when you tagged it.

Please slow down and make sure the tags you are applying are correct. GB fan 13:44, 17 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Re your response on my talk page. I did not create this article, I am just the admin that reviewed your deletion nominations and had to cleanup after you. This isn't the first time I had to cleanup your inaccurate tagging of new articles. My message above was to try to help you understand the speedy deletion criteria better so in the future you are not tagging articles with inaccurate tags. GB fan 12:32, 18 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of QWERTY Tummy edit

Hello Ajayupai95,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged QWERTY Tummy for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Gbawden (talk) 12:33, 19 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

US school district articles edit

It is not acceptable for you to complain that the stubs I'm putting in in place of redlinked articles are too small and have the remedy be that you delete the text in them and put me to working on expanding them. These stubs all have links to the official websites. If you are bothered by their short length, please feel free to add to them using the district website as a source or whatever else fits within Wikipedia guidelines. That would be productive. What you proposed would not be, especially if you went through all the stubs I've created (far more than the dozen you've spotted). TMLutas (talk) 07:28, 20 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

AFD Submissions edit

Hello. I saw your recent submissions to Wikipedia: Articles for deletion. There is no need to submit an article to AFD if it already falls under the Criteria for speedy deletion. You can place the Speedy Deletion template on the article instead. Or since you use Page Curation you can simply use the Speedy Deletion bar there instead of the Articles for Deletion bar when the article falls under of the Speedy Deltion Criteria's. Have a nice day! If you have any questions, let me know. :) -XapApp (talk) 09:14, 20 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Pikdyret Perry and the "Needs translation" tag edit

Do you read Danish? If not, it seems unwise to tag this as "Reviewed". Try Google Translate - the article is clear vandalism.

But in any case, if you add the "Needs translation" tag as you did you also need to complete the reporting by adding a message to Wikipedia:Pages_needing_translation_into_English#Pages_for_consideration, as is clearly explained within the template message you added to the page. Please slow down and read messages like that more carefully. PamD 10:32, 20 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

In case the article has been deleted by the time you see this, the wording of the "Needs translation" template includes (with links):
If you have just labeled this page as needing translation, please add {{subst:Needtrans | pg = Pikdyret Perry | Language = unknown | Comments = }} ~~~~ to the bottom of this section of Pages needing translation into English.
It's pretty clear what you have to do, so please take more care. PamD 10:35, 20 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Ajayupai95. You have new messages at PamD's talk page.

On school articles edit

Pretty much, school articles are untouchable. As long as it is proven they exist, which the school website is plenty good enough to do, they will ALWAYS survive an AfD. The advice the man gave you above is spot on. Gtwfan52 (talk) 21:06, 20 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Well, that's true for high schools - not for elementary/primary schools. PamD 23:52, 20 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ajay. I have no checkuser or administrative power. I will do some investigating "from right field" but I can't make any promises. ```Buster Seven Talk 12:46, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
I have a question for you concerning this. On 15 Feb you "found" a blocked user, User talk:Harishrawat11, and archived their talk page. When I asked at the time you said it was a mistake. Now this user was identified as a sockpuppet of Vrghs jacob by the checkuser also. It seems like to much of a coincidence that you just happened to find that user and decided to set up archiving. Can you provide an explanation on how you found this user and why you decided to archive their talk page? GB fan 12:57, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
Also, User:Davidjohn13's second edit as a new editor is to you. How would he know to contact you?. And why didnt you respond? ```Buster Seven Talk 13:09, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
Sir I don't know what he meant that's why I didn't reply!!! Sir I don't know Davidjohn13 until he contacted me and only after which I sent him the Teahouse request! I don't know him until then sir! The honest truth! Plz ask him if he knew me from before, I assure u I didn't know him till then, reallyAjayupai95 (talk) 13:21, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
I see that his contact is confusing and hard to understand...BUT..Two new editors that bump into each other would correspond. Why would you not ask him what he meant? ```Buster Seven Talk 13:59, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

I cant thank you enough sit!!! I promise you you will find that I am innocent!!! Can you please get the help of some admins to plz look they thru this case!! Can you ask Gtwfan52, OriginalSoni to also look thru, cause I assure you I am not a sockpuppet!!! Plz save my account! I will always be grateful to you!! go Phightins, PamD are also my acquaintances so plz ask them to justify on my behalf!!! I know there will always be great editors lik u! And most importantly plz don't lose hope in me! I am not a sockpuppet! U can rest assured that I'm not!!! Ajayupai95 (talk) 13:18, 21 February 2013 (UTC) Sir I swear that I only came across this user once because the user actually sent me a wiki love and I then I got to know that his account was blocked and thought I shld archive he whole talk page!!!! I promise you it was a honest mistake and that actually our edits are very diverse, I just came across him only thru the wiki love and nowhere else!!! That is the honest truth sir, I hope u understand!! I even apologised to quickly and told you it was an honest mistake and it really was !!!!Ajayupai95 (talk) 13:18, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

You still haven't explained why you decided to archive his talk page if all you knew about this person was that they sent you a wikilove message. GB fan 13:27, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
Also, User talk:Harishrawat11 had only made 5 edits when they sent you that wikilove message and you have never edited any of those the articles they edited in those 5 edits. This just does not make sense that they found you when the two of you had not edited the same articles and then you decided to set up archiving on their page. GB fan 13:38, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

I just went thru his edits andd also saw all that he did, and I just thought I shld archive it and actually I was learning how to archive talkpage and I tried it... I really had no other intention, I swear! I don't know how to tell u but it was just a spur of the moment that I thought maybe I shld archive his pages, I want even aware that locked user talk pages shouldn't be archived! To get an uninvolved admin to review your block add {{unblock | reason=your reason here ~~~~}} to this page and replace "your reason here" with why you feel you should be unblocked. I would suggest you read Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks so you understand what is expected of you. GB fan 15:27, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Unblock Request edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Ajayupai95 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

There must be a misunderstanding, because I have mistakenly been blocked as a Sock Puppet of Vrghs Jacob, which I am not. I do understand the respected administrator's view that I may be a Sock Puppet, but I assure you, that I am not, and that it must be a misunderstanding. If you were to look through my contributions(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Ajayupai95), you would find that I have come in contact with only two of the other sock puppets of Vrghs Jacob, namely- user:Harishrawat11 and user:Davidjohn13.

  • Firstly, Harishrawat11 was the one who sent me a Wikilove(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Ajayupai95), and thus was the one to contact me, not the other way round. I then realised that the editor was blocked and I made the mistake of archiving the user' s talk page. It was an honest mistake, as I was learning about archiving, as felt that maybe I should archive it, not knowing that block requests are not to be archived. I agree to that as my mistake, but an honest one, with no hidden motives. I even apologised to the user who informed me of my mistake.
  • Secondly, I came across Davidjohn13, as a new user and sent him a Teahouse request, thus I am in no way associated to him, and that I kept a close tab on his edits, and thus the Wikiloves I sent him.
  • Thirdly, I was involved in an edit wat with an unidentified IP No user who wished I retain some info on the Ministry of Defence (India), and if I were Vrghs Jacobs' or Harishrawt11's Sockpuppet, why would I delete my own edits? This only means that I am not Vrghs Jacob, but because in the edit war,I would be editing warring against myself. Thus it might have appeared that I was in connection with him. I humbly apologise for the edit war, but strongly deny that I am Vrghs Jacobs sock puppet.
  • Nextly, I do believe that apart from the above incidents, I am in no way associated to any of the blocked users. Which would mean that I was blocked under only the above pretence and so I believe that my account being blocked was possibly unintentionally done.
  • Lastly, I hope users such as user: Gtwfan52, user: Buster7, user: Go Phightins!, user: PamD, who are all acquaintances would probably justify that I am an independent editor, and not a Sock puppet. I actively participate in the Teahouse and welcome many users, and am part of many WikiProjects, and have made very diverse edits in contrast to Vrghs Jacob.

Sir/ Ma'am, I am a staunch follower of Wikipedia's rules and would never wish to flout them. I wish to contribute helpfully, gain knowledge as portray my views on various topics. I would never wish to he jeopardise Wikipedia and will always help expand it. I may have committed various mistakes and errors such as placing speedy deletions, language translation tags , etc without understanding the entire meaning of them. I wish to apologise and hope for forgivance for such mistakes. But I am not a Sock puppet and I hope I have proven that beyond doubt.

I am very fond of visiting Wikipedia and meeting other users, sharing knowledge, and developing the quality of Wikipedia, and not once have I though of affecting it with wrong deeds such as sock puppetry.

I fully accept my mistakes and request for forgivance, but only those that I just stated, not Sock puppetry because, I don't believe in it.

There must be a grave misunderstanding and I sincerely hope my unblock request is obliged. I honestly hope to return back I Wikipedia and forget this bad encounter.

Thank You Ajayupai95 (talk) 15:45, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Your explanations sounds very unbelievable, but in nany case checkuser evidence shows trhat you are one of many sockpuppets. A checkuser block will not be unblocked by anyone except a checkuser.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 20:16, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Can you plz ask a CheckUser to review my unblock... edit

Dear editors could you plz get a Check user to review my unblock request, because I am in desperate need of it. Plz help me! Ajayupai95 (talk) 21:40, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Last Effort... edit

I am not giving up, but it seems My explanation is unbelievable and I got declined... If anyone has any pity, plz contact a CheckUser to review this block, cause its a mistake.. I think I've explained how I'm not a sock puppet, I don't know which other way to prove it.. Users who knew me, plz go try our talks and just see if it appeared as if I was the same guy as Vrghs Jacob... I hope you would find that I am really not the same, and that I've been blocked unnecessarily... I hope I have someone atleast to rely on... Plz take 5 mins of your time to go thru this.. And help me, I m in earnest need of it...Ajayupai95 (talk) 03:15, 22 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Yunshui, so have asked a CU to look thu my unblock plea or should I put up another unblock request? Why isn't any admin or CU responding quickly??? I have been waiting all day?? Do you guys forget or is it that yo dot want to help.. I'm sorry but I was really hoping I would get some support or at least some attention until the matter is solved. I'm sorry for being soo blunt but I Just want my account Back to working condition...Ajayupai95 (talk) 16:40, 22 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yunshui did ask a checkuser to look into it, User talk:WilliamH#Checkuser check requested. WilliamH hasn't made any edits since the request was made so he probably hasn't seen it yet. You need to be patient. GB fan 17:36, 22 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sir I don't think Yoyojacob is my account, at Least I didn't create it, I remember making the Edit you stated, but I don't create any account. With due respect sir, I wish I tell you I don't believe I sock puppetry and so I wouldn't do it..Ajayupai95 (talk) 22:02, 22 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Edit conflict: I'll rephrase: four minutes after you made this edit, the account YoyoJacob13 was created from the same IP address as yours, using the same computer or device as you. My original question still stands, and I await your answer to it. WilliamH (talk) 22:16, 22 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

My 2 cents edit

First, things like these take a lot of time. So you will have to be patient. If you are really who you claim to be, I'm sure you'll be unblocked in some time.

But truly speaking, this looks more like a case of lying than some exceptional co-incidence to me. So if you really are the person who has been operating all those accounts, I suggest that lying isnt going to do a great deal of help to you. All it will do is to make sure you cannot come back to Wikipedia. Ever. Every time you come back with another account, you'll get blocked again and again.

There are only two options for you now - Leave forever; or just go away for 6 months. If you do the second, you will be welcomed back here, and nobody will say anything against you. Come back sooner, or with another account and you will be blocked. TheOriginalSoni (talk) 17:22, 22 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Are you telling me I mustn't make not a single edit for the next six months, but does it proves my innocence? And can I do everything normally again??? Then I think ok, yeah that might be ok, but I was really hoping for a fast solution...Ajayupai95 (talk) 22:09, 22 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:Title Screen of The Respawnables, 2013.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Title Screen of The Respawnables, 2013.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Proposed deletion of Centre for Public Policy edit

The article Centre for Public Policy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non notable per WP:NORG, reads like advert "CPP Says that..." website is CPPR while article only mentions CPP

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thanks, Please feel free to ping/mention -- User4edits (T) 13:04, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
