  • John Baldwin (Businessman) (An American Businessman and educator born in North Branford, Connecticut who moved to the Berea, Ohio area in 1828. He established Lyceum Village in 1836 and gave land to the North Ohio Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church to establish the Baldwin Institute in 1845, which would later become Baldwin-Wallace College.)[5]
