Yes, you are right. SB is very conservative about making changes, especially to date linkage. Thanks for answering the other query. Rich Farmbrough, 15:08 26 October 2007 (GMT).

Godzilla question

As you were one of the last few people who edited the Godzilla article, I am hoping that you might know something about the series. Could you please go here to see my question on that article's talk page and give your opinion? Thanks. - LA @ 19:39, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Sorry. Although I have seen some of the films—and I love them—I'm far from being an expert. My edit was one of a large number where I changed the name of the band Blue O/Öyster Cult from "O" to "Ö" in various Wikipedia articles (which is easy with the german keyboard I'm using.) Thus, my Godzilla (series) edit is actually not much related to the monster. --Cyfal (talk) 20:48, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Nagasaki, Nagasaki

Hi! Please see the order of the languages on the Main Page. Japanese is 日本語/Nihongo. So it is listed after Nederlands. I know that the two-letter language abbreviations is also acceptable. But I edit per the Main Page. Oda Mari (talk) 06:19, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Excuse me/sumimasen! You are right, it is better to keep the same order of interlanguage links in Nagasaki, Nagasaki and in the Main page. But this good idea did not come to my mind when I made my edit... I updated these links because I found Nagasaki on the page here on this page so I tried to update both the French and the English Wikipedia article with identical links. Therefore, I entered in both Wikipedias the interlanguage links in the same order. However, only on the French mainpage, 日本語 is placed before the netherlands. Thank you for correcting me. I will now modify the order in Nagasaki, Nagasaki somewhat further, because I noticed, that also other interlanguage links are not in the correct order, e.g., simple english is on top in the Main Page, but currently not on top in Nagasaki, Nagasaki. Thank you --Cyfal (talk) 17:47, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Your vandalism revert has truncated the article - please have a look! Pterre (talk) 21:20, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your notice! I must admit I have no idea what happened – maybe I had accidentally closed a tab in my browser when the reversion was still in progress? I have recreated the correct version now[1]. I will now check my edits of today to check whether this was the only case. --Cyfal (talk) 21:28, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Re: Interwiki sort order

I'm using AWB, so if it is wrong it is a bug in the code. BJTalk 02:35, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Confusing I don't actually know why that happened when editing with AWB. I personally put them in order by the two-letter abbreviation, but AWB does not - they use some other order that I've never understood and may in fact be the order on that Meta page. Since you acknowledged that both sortings are acceptable, why did you revert? Anyway… -Justin (koavf)TCM
Yes, reverting was not necessary, but I think the other order is somewhat nicer because the languagues then are then ordered alphabetically for the reader of the page, not for the editor. (I got into this task by the Nagasaki, Nagasaki diskussion here on my talk page, the previous contribution of Bjweeks was the answer to this.) Thanks for answering --Cyfal (talk) 22:06, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Question

How do I undo multiple edits by one person? Joedaddy09 (talk) 07:30, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

I have installed the script Twinkle for my User Cyfal, so this gives me some more "buttons" to do such things easyly.
However, without such tools it's also possible: simply go to the revision history, then click to the date of the last unvandalised version. Then this version is displayed, then click on "edit this page" and save it without any changes.

Thank you, but I only reverted some vandalism in this article, I have no clue whether Blankenship is notable or not. --Cyfal (talk) 15:23, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

The Concentration City

Whilst on the topic of J G Ballard, I don't suppose you've read many others of his short stories and want to help create articles? I was on the path to making most of the articles listed on The Complete Short Stories of J. G. Ballard: Volume 1, but I can't find my copy of the book itself to continue reading! ArdClose (talk) 16:00, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

No, sorry, it was I long time ago when I read The Concentration City in a book I borrowed from a library (BTW, in German). However, when I read your article, I remembered the story again. --Cyfal (talk) 16:10, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Basket weavers' museum

The first link says there is a website, but there is no link to a website. Does not show much of anything, fails as a reliable source, fails to verify anything. The second one says it exists, but no addreess or information , and says tours are available if you arrange by phone, Sounds like a collection in someone's home. No notability, not a verification. You are quite withing your rights to remove the PROD notice. If the prod stays off, I will probably nominate it for AFD. Thanks for searching for references; please add them to the article. Edison (talk) 01:13, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

I already added the second link to Basket Knitter Museum of the Romas. The first one I only mentioned because of the article's name. I have no problems with an AFD, I think this is better than the PROD because we may get some more discussion from this. (However, I can't contribute to it because I know not more than these two google hits I found.) --Cyfal (talk) 02:10, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Panduro Hobby

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Panduro Hobby, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Translation of Inuit-Kultur from German Wikipedia

Hey friend, in agreement with user Lidotherm I'm taking over the translation starting at "Übergang ins 21. Jahrhundert", and I'm getting close finished. I'm just telling you so we don't do double work, since I saw that you translated "Zeitgenössische Literatur" and something further down where I'm working on. Please have a look here (I started my own project page because I didn't know that Lidoderm already had one, plus my work style is slightly different, I'm not translating in a parallel column, but work myself down in the German text, replacing by English text, paragraph by paragraph). The first half Lidotherm copied into this page, from the work you and he had done. We're getting close to the end, and should be able to put up the article during this week.--Ratzer (talk) 06:00, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Fine! If you like, you may copy the "further down" parts I already translated at User:Lithoderm/Inuit_culture into your Ratzer/Projects/Project2. Although my English is not as good as yours, these parts may be helpful for you, especially because I already checked which links exist in the English Wikipedia and which don't (e.g. the Makivik Corporation etc.). I will not translate any further to avoid double work. Thank you for your work! --Cyfal (talk) 17:43, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
Wahnsinn, was ein Tempo! Ich überlasse dann das eigentliche Einbauen Lithoderm. --Cyfal (talk) 21:19, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Jahrhundert
  • 1.8.3 Nomadenleben in der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts

--Ratzer (talk) 19:36, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

--Cyfal (talk) 21:42, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Panduro Hobby

A tag has been placed on Panduro Hobby requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Nuttah (talk) 17:20, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi you altered soemthing on my profile, problems

I was just wondering how you tackle someone who is unreasonbly rewriting an entire article, this is a problem I am currently experiencing, I have issue with the alteration if it, is an improvemnet I have no issue, but I think the users constant rewrites are destroying imformation which is important to the article. What would you suggest, thought you may be someone to ask. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Redpathanderson (talkcontribs) 23:44, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Neutrality already made a contribution on Talk:Torksey Castle after you wrote this... I think Neutrality's rewriting is not bad, for example the introducting sentence is an improvement. I would suggest that you add the information you think is missing again, but using the latest Neutrality version as base (instead of reverting his changes.) Thus, you can discuss the specific sections on the Talk Page with him, if there is a disagreement. Hope that helps a little bit. --Cyfal (talk) 22:08, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
P.S. Now I understand your profile – I didn't get it at first that palatine wasn't a specific village but instead simply county palatine. Sorry for the confusion, these are the problems of a non-native speaker... --Cyfal (talk) 22:35, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Germanisms

I'm working on basic editing of the Germanism_(linguistics) page, but the lack of citations is bugging me. Any thoughts on how we might start to get some of these claims verified? It's all very fascinating, and I'm inclined to trust the claims, but verifications would help.Jlg4104 (talk) 04:11, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

I have absolutely no idea... The german wikipedia is not so keen about citations as the English one; in the article de:Germanismus no sources are given at all except an weblink section and a literature section with some German literature. The websites given in the weblink section are also not very resilient, e.g., the Spiegel Online source [2] is a simply a collection of letters by Spiegel Online readers to the editor, without any proof. --Cyfal (talk) 17:11, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Frazetta

Hi, Cyfal, and thanks for the good faith in your comment. I wanted to let you know about my edit to Frank Frazetta, and that I've left a pretty detailed rationale in my edit summary. But I also wanted to come talk to you about it. There's nothing wrong with a list of paintings, per se, but there needs to be a citation/footnote for each to verify he made a particular painting; this might be tricky, since Wikipedia disallows commercial sales pages as references. The word "Notable" is POV without, say, a quote from an art critic or historian saying, "His most notable works are...."; you can see that the album and poster lists are just objective lists without subjective judgments. Finally, conversational phrases and first-name references violate WP:TONE, and these were uncited besides.

I hope this isn't too despairing, and the good news is, I've posted a note at the WikiProject Comics talk page, so, hopefully, fellow editors will come pitch in to help make this article everything it could be. I look forward to working together with you on it! With regards, -- Tenebrae (talk) 02:04, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

My edit's main intent was to correct the section structure. I wasn't shure whether you intentionally or unintentionally deleted the paintings section, but thought it was unintentionally, therefore I restaured it. However, you are of course right, there are POV judgments in it and "notable" is also POV. Your last modification is fine, and I'm not despaired... However, I'm going to add the "Death Dealer" again, because I think that if an Wikipedia article exists, it should be added. If you don't agree, just revert this edit again, I have no problem with this. Thank you --Cyfal (talk) 02:47, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
All good on that. In fact, it gave me a chance to polish up the Death Dealer article a bit (leaving the content intact and just adding a cite-request tag). Hope to see you 'round the Frazetta articles. --Tenebrae (talk) 02:57, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

You're welcome! I also looked for a translation of "Burschenverein", but there seems no such thing in English :-( Best regards --Cyfal (talk) 06:09, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Hi!^^ Greetings from Rhineland-Palatinate! The german word "Burschenverein" is actually not to translate in common ways, because it´s some kinda "typical germany-tradition". :-) If I really had to translate it, I shall spell it "tough guy´s association". It´s an village-to-village individually located and organized association, wich is planning and taking care over kermises and village festivals of various sorts. So every village has its own Burschenverein. The gender counterpart of the "tough guys" are the village-maidens. Best regards; --Weneg (talk) 17:59, 29 July 2009 (UTC)By the way: Would ye mind to help me here? A downtown where I live today. ;-)--Weneg (talk) 18:11, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Hello! Yes, I know what "Burschenverein" is, I'm also from Germany. Ok, I modified Engers somewhat. Some tips for editing wikipedia: You may use the German wikipedia as translation tool for the English one. By this, I found for example the translation of de:Sugambrer as Sicambri. When editing Engers, I was not shure what place Reil was meant - of course not the physician you found by clicking on this link. I guess it was Reil, Germany at the mosella. Best regards, it was a pleasure to help you --Cyfal (talk) 15:21, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh my god, my English must be lousy... *lol* :-D About the village "Reil". Ummm... once there was an tiny hicktown called "Reil" just 4km away from Engers. THIS is the Reil that´s originally meant. ;-) Today it doesn´t exist anymore - I don´t know the correct reason. I´ve once heard that the hicktown vanished wile the inmunicipation-reforms around 1970. But I can visit the Engers city hall at weekend, if ye like. Maybe I´ll find some informations there. Naw, were my workouts ok? Best regards; --Weneg (talk) 15:42, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
No problem with the lousy English, because I think it's better to find good informations about Engers in lousy English than don't find any informations at all in Wikipedia! I've removed the link at the wrong "Reil" now from the article. I leave it up to you whether you want to add informations for Reil you find in the city hall, but I guess this is too much work for you. Best regards --Cyfal (talk) 11:15, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
? Why shall it be too much work for me???--Weneg (talk) 13:35, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Street of the Prophets

Hi, the only reason I called it Street of the Prophets (Jerusalem) is because there are similarly named streets in Haifa and Tel Aviv, and the latter one has some notoreity. Should we wait until articles are written about the streets in those other cities before identifying this one as belonging to Jerusalem? Yoninah (talk) 19:20, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't got this.
My idea was that "Street of the Prophets (Jerusalem)" is not a good search term, however "Street of the Prophets" is. Thus, one might think of two different solutions (see also MOS:DAB):
The first one is making "Street of the Prophets" a disambig page, with the three entries "Street of the Prophets (Jerusalem)", "Street of the Prophets (Tel Aviv)" and "Street of the Prophets (Haifa)".
However, it seems to me that the Jerusalem street is much more noteable than the other two, at least from comparing the google hits for "Street of the Prophets" "Jerusalem" on one hand and "Street of the Prophets" "Tel Aviv" on the other. Thus therefore I think that the Jerusalem street should be discribed in "Street of the Prophets" and the Tel Aviv and Haifa streets should be "otheruses" in that article's header. (As soon as the latter articles exist.)
Is this ok for you?
--Cyfal (talk) 19:45, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

Excuse me

But when a user tells me this: "and since you're not Filipino by even asking the meaning of tambayan, I suggest you get on out of here and stop trying to muddle subjects you don't even know about. " which is an affront against me as a non-Filipino, then I am not ready to let that unanswered. --Bone1234 (talk) 12:34, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Assistance requested on Templates

Hello, I have notice that you have edited on Battletech, so though this may seem out of the blue.As member of the fairly small Wikipedia: Wikiproject Battletech we currently do not have any templates that are for this project solely. Though experince as I am I have no skill in creating new templates I manly have focused on editing and creation of new pages. I have been extremly focused on the Battletech series as a whole; and thus I am asking if you maybe able to help in creating templates or just lead me to another that maybe able todo so. Thank you for your consideration on this matter.Popa01 (talk) 04:12, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

Hello Popa01,
sorry for not answering earlier – I didn't log in for some days.
Well, I must admit I'm not that expert neither for Battletech nor for templates. I found Inner Sphere by using the "Random article" button and this lead me to Battletech... I've never created a template myself – but you will find a short introduction at Help:A quick guide to templates and more hints at Help:Template. I hope that helps.

Restored speedy on ACUF

Just in case you weren't aware, you (as the article creator) aren't allowed to remove CSD tags. If you wish to contest, {{hangon}} is the preferred tag to add. The speedy tag is proper since the page doesn't include the requisite number of articles to require a dab page.   ArcAngel   (talk) ) 19:00, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Armindo Bruma

The article Armindo Bruma has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable at present. Fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Argyle 4 Lifetalk 23:03, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for your notice. Seems I can't do much against the deletion of this article, WP:NFOOTBALL is clear. --Cyfal (talk) 19:31, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Haste makes waste

If there had been adequate attention paid to the text then it should have been apparent. Instead, the knee jerk revert just makes for some work and for others waste. "(Denise Laurel is not in the book--"Emerald" the character is. An actor can take leave from a production; a character is written out. Please do not confuse actors and characters as one and the same. Guess? Something that you on your own will need to fiddle. It is all part of one's weltanschauung. Having a grandmother on the one side that when difficult subjects she wants nothing to admit entered a conversation all of a sudden she is playing dumb; matched with the other grandmother educated in the state language but at home a user of another language, brought about any thing she wrote written in the phonetic spelling of the one language with the words of the other. Being is not a matter of what one wants but what is there and can be brought forth--it falls in line with this community thing they call WP. All very useful even if not by everyone for the same intent.66.74.176.59 (talk) 12:26, 21 December 2014 (UTC)

Unneeded deletion request.

Please note that your WP:PROD of Eisbach (Munich) was not called for. Normally when you find a duplicate article you should instigate a merge discussion. In this case there was nothing to merge, so a simple redirect would have done. The argument that the corresponding deWiki article was deleted also does not hold up, as it only got moved. Here on enWiki we do not delete redirects created by moves, whereas deWiki does that religiously. Agathoclea (talk) 05:47, 27 September 2017 (UTC)

It's also fine too keep them as redirects, although I think they are superfluous. I fixed now the double redirect Eisbach (Münich) - Eisbach (Munich) - Eisbach (Isar) that ocurred after the change into a redir. My argument was that the Interlanguage Link for Eisbach (Munich) did not work. However, this no longer holds because you changed it into a redir. --Cyfal (talk) 09:16, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for the cleanup, I normally don't look for redirect as the bots catch double redirects pretty quickly. In this case actually Eisbach (Münich) is one of the cases where a deletion would be considered on enWiki, as it is an unlikely searchterm created by a typo and the article was only a very brief period at that title. Boleyn, I understand your point. The Germand articles that I've translated (Zenn (river), Gießenbach (Danube), Brunnbach (Hagertal) have some sources, but mostly books or accesses to databases which are not easy to check for me. So, I simply stop translating river articles from the German Wikipedia. --Cyfal (talk) 19:38, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 13:14, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
You have created another unreferenced article, Klausbach (Salzach). Can you please add reliable sources. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 19:47, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
And Klingenbach (Igelsbach) etc. Boleyn (talk) 19:58, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
Actually, I don't see the urgency of referencing an article which does not state more than the bare name, the tributary and the country of a river, which I actually copied from the German wikipedia. See all the lists of rivers in Germany by state, e.g. List of rivers of Bavaria. Nearly all articles in these lists have been created by a bot of Dr. Blofeld, in principle you may say that all these articles are unreferenced... I have added now references to Klausbach (Salzach), do you really think this was a big improvement? Maybe I simply can give a map somewhere in the internet as reference (e.g. Google maps)? --Cyfal (talk) 20:16, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
Google Maps ref is absolutely fine, Boleyn (talk) 20:19, 10 February 2018 (UTC)

Ways to improve Katzbach (Schwarzach)

Thanks for creating Katzbach (Schwarzach).

A New Page Patroller Domdeparis just tagged the page as having some issues to fix, and wrote this note for you:

This really needs other sources than Google maps

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can reply over here and ping me. Or, for broader editing help, you can talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Hi @Cyfal: Sorry if I gave the impression I was doing a revert on that article to fix that broken link. It had alrady been fixed. Regarding the revert, an out-station is a named item, a designed product, that could be duplicated. I suppose in the future it will drift back to the proper spelling. Sorry if any distress or hassle was caused. scope_creepTalk 12:14, 27 January 2019 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Breitenbach (Speyerbach), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Breitenbach (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Menzenschwand

Hi Cyfal, I see you've deleted the Alemannic term for Menzenschwand (Menzèschwand) because "unsourced speculative pronunciation using self-invented German letter pronunciation rules". But the name of the article on Alemannic Wikipedia appears to be just that: Menzèschwand. Or is that article just mis-spelt? Bermicourt (talk) 21:19, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Hi Bermicourt, that was my mistake, I was too hasty – I've reverted my edit now. My contribution was part of a large number of reverts of edits by various IPs (perhaps always the same person), who added an alleged German dialect pronunciation to articles, using a spelling that is meaningful for German readers, but not for English ones. See e.g. here. However, in the case of Menzenschwand I didn't realize that there exists a corresponding article in the Alemannic Wikipedia. With a grain of salt, this can be taken as source for the correct pronunciation/spelling of Menzenschwand in the Alemannic dialect. I will check my other reverts now, too, maybe there are more of these cases. --Cyfal (talk) 14:02, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
Thank you. I think you're right - there is a balance to be struck here. It is important to add genuine alternative spellings in other languages or dialects relevant to the article, ideally sourced to a dictionary. But we don't want unofficial made-up alternatives. Thank you for your work on English Wikipedia. I've created one or two articles on de.wiki and would like to do more, especially on Austrian and German card games - so many of them are now described here in English, but not in their native language. But I'd need someone to check my grammar and phrasing! Gruß, Bermicourt (talk) 14:40, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
Thank you too for your work on the German Wikipedia. From time to time, I can check your grammar and phrasing – here , are my first contributions (using my german user name). Not a big deal, although German grammar is terribly complicated compared to English. --Cyfal (talk) 15:34, 18 April 2020 (UTC)

Council Virginia

I don’t appreciate you deleting my edits on this page. I have lived in this community my entire life . The edits I provide are truthful. I contacted Wikipedia customer service today and there checking into your actions. Trespassingintothewild (talk) 02:36, 7 October 2021 (UTC)

Hi Trespassingintothewild,
with my edit I mostly corrected spelling errors that you introduced. The only thing which I deleted is some unsourced claim ending with a non-encyclopedic sentence "The County Supervisors can do better then this ." Another user has already written on your talk page, that WP:VERIFY is essential. Please also avoid such edit summaries, see WP:UNCIVIL (by the way: "butthole" is spelled with two t).
What is the "Wikipedia customer service"? I can't believe such a thing exists.
You are welcome to make contributions to Council, Virginia or to any other Wikipedia article, but all contributions should follow WP:VERIFY.
Hope that helps --Cyfal (talk) 17:46, 7 October 2021 (UTC)

Industrial Vandalism

Futurepop and Industrial metal were grouped, respectively, under Electronic body music and Industrial rock, but you've taken them out. Why? 47.36.25.163 (talk) 23:04, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

I thought these brackets were a layout error and changed them (here). However, are Futurepop and Industrial metal really subgenres of Electronic body music and Industrial rock, resp.? This can't be deduced from these article's text, as far as I see. --Cyfal (talk) 18:41, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

Weird subject–verb situation

This edit fixed "is are", which is obviously a mistake. But the sentence now sounds awkward because a singular subject has a plural verb. Is there a way to reword this whole chunk to make the grammar sound more self-consistent? DMacks (talk) 16:11, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

In this sentence Catenatriphosphazenes is the subject which is plural. The case is similar to "Not all marine animals are fishes. One example are dolphins." I have no bad feeling with the second sentence. However, I must admit I'm not a native speaker and therefore my feeling for language may be wrong. What do you think, does the following sounds better? "Catenatriphosphazenes are one example." Or "Catenatriphosphazenes are an example." --Cyfal (talk) 16:27, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

Creation of an article on German Wikipedia

Hello!

I really like the articles you create, publish or edit on Wikipedia. I’m not a Wikipedia specialist, so I would like to collaborate with a professional who has experience in this field. I would like to publish an article about one entrepreneur, business angel and international investor, on the German or English version of Wikipedia.

I see it as a text about his professional career, investments and philosophy of life. Not PR or advertising articles. My name is Emma Rogers

Let me know if you are interested in describing Hartmann's biography as an author, please. I can give you more information RogEmma (talk) 08:03, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

No, sorry, I'm not interested. --Cyfal (talk) 19:43, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
