Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Komischn (talk) 12:33, 4 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

It's there now.

Might be worth keeping messages on your talkpage for at least a couple of minutes! Yunshui (talk) 12:18, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello from another WP user edit

Am I clear that the following happened to you?:

"Excuse me[edit]

But when a user tells me this: "and since you're not Filipino by even asking the meaning of tambayan, I suggest you get on out of here and stop trying to muddle subjects you don't even know about. " which is an affront against me as a non-Filipino, then I am not ready to let that unanswered. --Bone1234 (talk) 12:34, 4 March 2011 (UTC) But you didn't answer to that, but deleted the contribution.[4]--Cyfal (talk) 12:40, 4 March 2011 (UTC)Anyway, the atmosphere now is toxic. --Bone1234 (talk) 12:49, 4 March 2011 (UTC)"

I hope that was not the reason for no longer participating in WP. I have recently encountered that user in a much as arrogant action but less ethnocentric. I share your disdain for such acts by people that have more concern for themselves instead of the WP aim.66.74.176.59 (talk) 02:56, 21 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
