Welcome! edit

Hello, Francisjk2020, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Kalyan Silks does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Tacyarg (talk) 09:13, 22 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

September 2018 edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Devan (actor) has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Hi there - please don't describe edits as grammar edits when you are adding content. Best wishes. Tacyarg (talk) 09:15, 22 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Recent edit to Devan (actor) edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Devan (actor), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 13:05, 22 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

DO NOT COPY edit

DO NOT COPY is a basic concept in academia. The content you added here at Zero (2018 film) was copied from here. This is unacceptable, even if you add a reference. Copying is intellectually dishonest and lazy, and constitutes intellectual theft. Plagiarism and copyright violations will not be tolerated at Wikipedia. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:05, 22 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

September 2018 edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 17:18, 26 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your addition to Bajrang Punia has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. You CANNOT simply copy and paste from online articles. You must WP:SUMMARIZE the information in your own words, being careful to actually rewrite and summarize the information, not just change a handful of words. Please don't do this again as you will end up blocked from editing if you continue to copy-paste. Ravensfire (talk) 17:31, 26 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

English Spelling Differences edit

Howdy Hello! I noticed that you recently made this edit to 2018 Chemnitz protests. I have reverted your edit for the time being. Just to let you know for future reference: per WP:MOSS there are many different regional variations of English. What may seem like grammar errors may sometimes just be regional spelling differences. Generally, if an article is written in one regional style, it should continue to use that style unless consensus is reached concerning a reason why it shouldn't be. The Chemnitz protests article was written in British English, and you changed it to American English (rumour v. rumor). If you have a reason why you think the article should be written in American English instead of British English, please start a new talk section on Talk:2018 Chemnitz protests. Happy Editing! Captain Eek Edits Ho Cap'n! 19:44, 30 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

I reverted your change of "kilometre" to "kilometer" in 1000 km Monza for the same reason. DH85868993 (talk) 08:35, 1 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your grammar edits edit

While improving spelling and grammar on Wikipedia is encouraged, please do not change the names of template parameters. These are used to identify information in templates (they look like this in code:{{template name|parameter_name=value}}). Changing parameter names will cause information to disappear. --Danski454 (talk) 17:51, 2 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Ghassan aboud forbes.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Ghassan aboud forbes.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. A tag has been placed on File:Ghassan Aboud Group in UAEs Top 50 Companies - Forbes ME.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File permission problem with File:Ghassan Aboud receives Forbes award.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Ghassan Aboud receives Forbes award.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Massar Solutions edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Massar Solutions, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. A tag has been placed on Massar Solutions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Your draft article, Draft:Abu Dhabi Government Media Office edit

Hello, Francisjk2020. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Abu Dhabi Government Media Office".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Lapablo (talk) 07:11, 7 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hello Francisjk2020. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Francisjk2020. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Francisjk2020|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Theroadislong (talk) 19:07, 3 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Adgmo-logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Proposed deletion of Century Financial edit

The article Century Financial has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

References are press releases or marketing. Majority of references are about Bal Krishen and his career, not the business. References do not establish notability for Century Financial. See WP:ORGCRIT

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Umm Al Quwain FTZ moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Umm Al Quwain FTZ, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Orphaned non-free image File:Century Financial Logo.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Century Financial Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:08, 6 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Century Financial Consultancy moved to draftspace edit

Thanks for your contributions to Century Financial Consultancy. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and recreation of a previously deleted page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Century_Financial. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BoraVoro (talk) 08:46, 13 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Century Financial LLC edit

Hello, Francisjk2020,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Pppery and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Century Financial LLC, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Pppery}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

April 2024 edit

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. You have repeatedly re-created articles which have previously been deleted, including an article which you knew full well had been deleted as the outcome of consensus at a deletion discussion. You have repeatedly switched to different titles for your re-creations of a page, to evade the effect of page protection put in place to stop you from re-creating the page. You have persistently posted unambiguously promotional material in articles which you have created. If you wish to continue as a Wikipedia editor then you must accept that there will be times when you disagree with consensus, but have to accept that consensus and move on. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
