Wiffle Ball
My post in "Wiffle Ball" was not used to be promotional... the article talks about wiffle ball tournaments and lists a few. Well, I found a place that has every tournament listed and thought that it would be very informative for someone looking to find/play in a tournament. You can check it out for yourself if you'd like...
Milzy26 (Milzy26 (talk) 20:26, 4 March 2016 (UTC)) 3/4/16 @ 3:26pm
- @Milzy26: The reason the text you placed into the Wiffle ball article was deleted was because it appeared to advertise a tournament which is against Wikipedia policy. Please read WP:NOTADVERTISING for further information. Z105space (talk) 20:38, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
I am new to this so I'm still trying to learn... in other words you are saying I cannot place a link to an outside source? If so, how would I go about mentioning that site that has not just one particular tournament, but hundreds? I just feel as though it is a good source of information on the topic being presented. Milzy26 (Milzy26 (talk) 20:46, 4 March 2016 (UTC)) 3/4/16 @ 3:46pm
- @Milzy26: If you wish to include information on regional tournaments, then do so, but not in a way that suggests advertising (like in a TV/Radio commercial) and it must meet notability guidelines. Z105space (talk) 21:10, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
Golf courses
Ah yes, good job. If there's any you think belong on the sports section of the core list please add them!♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:08, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Dr. Blofeld: I believe Celtic Manor Resort (which held the 2010 Ryder Cup) may be a core article. Also I think other courses which don't have articles should be in the missing articles area.

If you would like, I will be happy to put the nomination back into the reviewing pool. I would expect it to be claimed by a new reviewer in very short order: it would be one of the five oldest unreviewed articles, and the GA Cup is currently ongoing, with bonus points for reviewing the oldest articles awaiting reviews. I'll check back here to see how you'd prefer to proceed. Thank you for your patience. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:31, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

2008 AMP Energy 500
Hi, I just reviewed this article for DYK, and just wanted to say that although I have no knowledge of NASCAR in particular or much interest now in motor racing I found the article to be excellent and a model of what a sports event article ought to look like. Clearly you've put a lot of work into it and it really shows in the quality of the article. Hopefully it'll get to FA one day if that's aim for it. --Bcp67 (talk) 06:42, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

IndyCar race reports
Hi Micheal. As you may have noticed, real life has caught up to me and my activity has died down a bit. I'm in no way even remotely close to retirement, but June is going to be a busy month for me also. Meanwhile, it seems the only IndyCar race this season that has an article up and running is the Indy 500 (to think Manor chose Rio over Rossi...smh...). I know you're capable of writing excellent race reports, but I'm sure you don't have time to worry about every last race with all the work you're busy with. I'm sure you or I could write quick stubs if that's our last resort, but can you think of a way we could get these articles created and updated at the same pace as the F1 or NASCAR articles? Thanks again for all your work. Congrats on your recent DYK. --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 01:39, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Bentvfan54321: It's not something I plan to do at the moment but quick stubs could work in the short term IMO. I don't know a way on how to keep IndyCar races updated on a regular basis. Z105space (talk) 15:44, 4 June 2016 (UTC)

hello
why did you revert my edit? LeBron James is the owner of Oracle Arena. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lbjcavsx23 (talk • contribs) 05:45, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Lbjcavsx23: I cannot find anything in reliable source to state that James owns the Oracle Arena and that is why I reverted your edit. Z105space (talk) 05:56, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure it's one of those edits, where someone changes a team or (in this case) arena's owner to that of an opposing player who defeated them. NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati) 17:31, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
