  • ... that rapper Zane One stated in an interview that she does not actually listen to much hip hop music, and her debut album features samples from classic rock and folk songs?

  •   Two QPQs have been done, articles are both new and long enough. The hook could be phrased a little tighter-- maybe "rapper Zane One has said that she does not listen to much and her..." Hook is reasonably interesting and cited in the respective articles. AGF on the 'listen to much hip hop' part because it's unreasonable to expect a reviewer to listen to a thirty-six minute interview for it. Sources don't seem to be the highest quality but are cited for reasonable things (i.e. an interview for details about her life). I'm actually most curious as to how the album meets WP:NALBUM and the artist WP:NSINGER-- All of the coverage seems to be interviews or reviews of things she contributed to-- I'm not convinced she has independent notability or her album, but music is not my area of expertise. I'd like to hear what you think. Eddie891 Talk Work 15:40, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
    • For demonstrating notability, I was relying mostly on the Revolutionary Ink interview, Holy Hip Hop Database entry, the Syncast interview and coverage (I'd consider this a published source since it was by that time a partnership with Rapzilla), and the Wade-O radio piece. The two interview sources include their own commentary as well as Zane's own statements (unlike the Rapzilla one which is essentially just Zane's words). I also managed to find a review of the album ([1]) and additional independent coverage ([2]) as well as another interview (which is mostly good though as a primary source). With these additional sources, I believe that all of this together establishes notability. While it's not an ideal situation, I think the minimum is satisfied. Please see both articles for improvements I've done.--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 18:12, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
      • 3family6 OK, seems reasonable enough & I'll defer to you here. No copyvio in the articles, they are reasonably well written, hook is reasonably interesting. One other problem I'm coming up with is that the 'discography' and 'filmography' sections of Zane One are inconsistently referenced. Other than that this now looks pretty good.
