Flipnote Studio 3D

Hey, you recently questioned the notability of Flipnote Studio 3D. I'd like to resolve any issues that exist on the page, and in fact would like to work toward making it a good article! What is the best way to resolve the issue of notability? The only thing I can think of is to use articles from gaming news sites as references, rather than mainly from Nintendo's official site(s). Would this be the best course of action? Thanks,

-Sforzando (talk) 19:36, 12 April 2014 (UTC)

Alright, thanks for your help. I'll get on finding sources later today. -Sforzando (talk) 20:40, 12 April 2014 (UTC)

WikiProject African diaspora

Hi there. I'd like to ask you about the WikiProject "African diaspora". This is an outstanding usergroup, which "aims to improve all articles related to the cultural contributions of people of African descent all over the world". One of the featured articles in this project, for example, is that of W. E. B. Du Bois. I'm wondering why you added Rodney King to this project, "an African-American construction worker and serial criminal"? Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 11:39, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

Regarding Digimon

Sorry for not responding lately, the article is soo big and needs soo much work i end up getting lost every time i look at it. perhaps we're better off making a sandbox to remake the entire page on our own. Other than that, i'm currently working on Uzumaki, and its turning out quite nicely. If you would like to help me with that it would be appreciated. i think once i find some development info, it could be ready for GA nomination. Lucia Black (talk) 08:42, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

Congratulations!

  It's party time!
I'd just like to say a big "Congratualations!" on you getting Pokémon Channel up to FA-status. Looking through the discussion, it looks like absolute hell to get it from nomination to acceptance, but now that that's over, it's time to celebrate! I already *burp* took a piece, hope you don't mind ^^; Supernerd11 :D Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 02:35, 19 April 2014 (UTC)

FA congratulations

Just a quick note to congratulate you on the promotion of Pokémon Channel to FA status recently. If you would like to see this (or any other FA) appear as "Today's featured article" soon, please nominate it at the requests page; if you'd like to see an FA on a particular date in the next year or so, please add it to the "pending" list. In the absence of a request, the article may end up being picked at any time (although with 1,307 articles in Category:Featured articles that have not appeared on the main page at present, there's no telling how long – or short! – the wait might be).
You (and your talk-page stalkers) may also be interested to hear that there have been some changes at the TFA requests page recently. Nominators no longer need to calculate how many "points" an article has, the instructions have been simplified, and there's a new nomination system using templates based on those used for DYK suggestions. Please consider nominating another article, or commenting on an existing nomination, and leaving some feedback on your experience. If you'd got any TFA-related questions or problems, please let me know. BencherliteTalk 13:43, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

FACs

I wanted to say you've done great work on Wisps, and I appreciate how receptive you've been to my many suggestions on its FAC. Although I don't think we've interacted before the Wisps FAC, I'm familiar with your handiwork on Shadow the Hedgehog (video game), which I know you brought to FA years ago; I've helped to maintain the article over the past few years. I recognized your username when you returned to Wikipedia earlier this year, and I'm glad that you're back, improving and creating (or re-creating, as the case may be) Sonic-related articles. I continue to dabble in Sonic articles every now and then, so I'm sure our paths will cross on this articles again.

On a related note, if you have some time, could you take a look at the FAC entry for Voting Rights Act of 1965? Not exactly a video game subject, I know, but I'd value your perspective on the article's candidacy. Thanks! –Prototime (talk · contribs) 04:51, 3 May 2014 (UTC)

Javanese script

Hi Tezero, following on your comments in the Javanese script gan, the layout was indeed unsightly. Can't blame it, since I've found the script quite tricky to explain and the only ga article with remote similarity is Sinhala script. There are no FA article regarding a script and other Good Article regarding scripts is not an abugida, so the layout is fundamentally different. But just to be sure, would the current layout be suitable for renomination? thanks Alteaven (talk) 15:33, 13 May 2014 (UTC)

Hey there

I don't think you should get too discouraged over this heated notability debate going on with the Sonic-related articles. I agree that it is pretty frustrating though. I mean, people will never agree on what constitutes as notability. This is why we rely on AFDs and RFC discussions to get a consensus whether an article is notable or not if someone disputes it's notability.

Maybe I should edit the Sonic articles a bit more myself. I've had a few Sonic-related pages on my watchlist for a while, and then I had noticed the notability discussion, so I thought I would give my input. For right now, I also opposed the merging for Blaze the Cat and the Wisps.

I have noticed you also edit music articles (I've seen your edits on some album and song articles from my watchlist). I was thinking of nominating a certain album article I have been editing for some time for GA and I would like you to review it, if possible. So, what do you think? Kokoro20 (talk) 17:41, 17 May 2014 (UTC)

Well, at this rate, it looks like only Chao might stay. One or two others might end with "no consensus" though, which defaults to them staying as well. But yeah, some people are still too strict with notability.
I was referring to this article. What do you think of it? Before nominating it though, I still have some more stuff to do, such as adding a few sources. Kokoro20 (talk) 16:09, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
So, would you mind reviewing my GA nomination for that album? I finally nominated it. In response, I'll consider reviewing the Tony Hawk's Underground article if you nominate that. But keep in mind that I have very little experience with reviewing GA nominations, but I'll do my best. I've only ever reviewed one of them up to this point. Kokoro20 (talk) 10:16, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

Green Hill Zone GAN

Hey, just thought I'd say you've still got a chance at GA. Just either expand the critical reception to match the length of "impact and legacy" section or take some info from "impact and legacy" to "critical reception" by May 21st and I'll pass. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 23:55, 18 May 2014 (UTC)

Pokémon

Thought it would be easier to reply here than getting off topic on the list of characters talk page. I hear and have heard you about standards for fictional characters and I've looked at a few of the dozen Pokémon pages. I'd actually say that Klefki has more notability than much of the others (if we're going with the theory that a bunch of lesser characters heatshield the borderline ones). I'm not calling it a strong keep, but Klefki has multiple, independent sources discussing the character in as much (throwaway) depth as possible as the dedicated subject of several distinct pages. This said, many of the others would be adequately covered in their parent list articles and should be scaled back (especially since almost every Pokémon I clicked on had sources that said how unimportant the Pokémon were, which is somewhat ironic to use as a claim to notability). I can work on that scaling back with you if you'd like, but I'm not particularly looking for a notability march. The Sega stuff was brought to my attention because of the entries at DYK and GAN, where I'm relatively active. Otherwise I might not have noticed. Anyway, I might take a look at the Pokémon merging depending on how things go, so let me know if you want to work on that with me. As for whether they're vetted, I doubt it as far as my eyes can tell. I don't see a lot of discussion or deletion/merge discussions so it leads me to believe that they've just never been contested. czar  01:05, 19 May 2014 (UTC)

As an FYI to @Czar, I've made some pretty good headway in merging Pokémon articles. I think I've merged about 10 of them, and am going to continue merging some later. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 01:18, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
@New Age Retro Hippie, cool. Maybe drop a note here for future merges so we can take a look. czar  01:29, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
@Czar Pokémon mergers or mergers in general? I've made a point of only merging w/o discussion (in this session) articles that I've created thus far. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 01:32, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
@New Age Retro Hippie, well, either, but I meant Pokémon. Any of the ones that go to discussion at least. czar  01:48, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
@New Age Retro Hippie: be sure that you're not implying ownership of the articles. That being said, maybe creating them means you've been more aware of other changes made to them. Tezero (talk) 03:42, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
I'm not invoking ownership, I'm just saying that because I created them, I don't have to be as mindful of creator feelings (not to suggest that the people who make articles are necessarily over-emotional). - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 03:46, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
@New Age Retro Hippie: worried about hitting too close to home, eh? That's fine; I accept that me being upset about the articles I've birthed being taken behind the shed should carry no influence on whether the task is carried out. (Personally, I do think audience outcry should be a factor in notability, but that's a different story.) Tezero (talk) 04:14, 19 May 2014 (UTC)

@Czar: you should be aware that I'm not necessarily advocating the Pokémon articles get merged and have little interest in participating in that. I mean, I just don't want them to be given a different treatment from Sonic character articles, both selfishly and to keep notability standards consistent. (Within WP:VG character articles, anyway. I still assert that consistency of notability standards within WP:VG as a whole and within Wikipedia as a whole is fucked, but those causes are more or less lost.) Tezero (talk) 03:42, 19 May 2014 (UTC)

This might sound unfair, but personally, I think that there is (to some degree or another) an inherited notability for all Pokémon. Not enough to get any one character an article by itself, but I would say even one of the lesser-known Pokémon has that advantage due to merchandising. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 03:46, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
@New Age Retro Hippie: in common sense, I agree. The only Sonic characters I think are actually well-known by gamers who don't play the series are Sonic, Tails, Eggman, Shadow, Knuckles, Amy, and maybe Silver (and even him only because of the infamy of '06), roughly in that order. But that's not what notability is supposed to go by here. And it irritates me that a number of the support votes for individual Sonic characters being merged are made because the characters aren't that major. This is in contrast to, say, Serge's supports, which—while I don't agree with his points for the most part—I understand more because they're actually tied to the sources. Tezero (talk) 04:10, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
By the way, thank you for the thank you. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 17:40, 19 May 2014 (UTC)

I advise some caution...

Hey, Tezero. I wanted to touch base with you in regard to the Sonic characters debate. I'm sorry we had to disagree, although at WT:SEGA I know we kind of came to an agreement that we had different opinions and respected that. Going forward, this isn't really my fight as I just don't feel passionate enough about the way this is going to really care one way or another. However, I wanted to advise some caution about some aspects going forward.

WP:FICT is the relevant guideline about notability in fictional characters, and as you can tell it's WAY too widely construed. Actually, back in 2008 before I retired, it was much more tight: I have a feeling that constant debates like this have resulted in repeated no consensus issues, much like the Sega Genesis-Mega Drive debates that have never ceased. Bear this in mind as you proceed; I can tell it's getting that way just from the first merge discussions. I also really want to advise you to use caution with reading too much into Niemti's arguments; it may seem convincing, but he's got a reputation for Wikilawyering and is actually community banned from the GA process for doing so. I've been on the receiving end of it before, believe it or not. I'm not saying you have to disregard everything he says, but take it with a grain of salt and keep that in mind just in case worse comes to worse. Red Phoenix let's talk... 00:59, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

Hey, it's really unfortunate how your work here is treated

The memetic and discriminatory approach to Wikipedia's notability with make-believe double standards for video game characters is shit and needs to be stopped somehow.

Maybe some people from other parts of Wikipedia, such as comics or films, should be let known so they can voice their opinions. Or anyone who's actually set up the notability guideline.

I see you've created Joe Musashi. I rewrote it over the years completely, hope you like it. --Niemti (talk) 13:17, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

I don't know. Ask at WP:N talk page, I suppose? There's Wikipedia:WikiProject Fictional characters too. Just ideas. --Niemti (talk) 17:24, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

Dont take it too personally, all i can say is that we are trying to look at the good side of these articles. If we can't, well, i'm sorry. Despite voting oppose on Wisp (Sonic) (the only one i'm having second thoughts on), i'm going to say that we still trying to support the articles you make. Lucia Black (talk) 20:02, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

You've done some great work on the Sonic character articles, Tezero, most of which I hope will be preserved in the merges. I hope you don't leave Wikipedia as a result of of this. Though it wouldn't be the first time that an overenthusiastic deletionist sentiment has driven away editors from our project... –Prototime (talk · contribs) 03:44, 22 May 2014 (UTC)

Quite a few editors have left due to their work being deleted, sadly. Around 2006-2007, a "purge" of Wikipedia articles was pushed by editors who had determined that a great many of Wikipedia's articles didn't meet the general notability guideline. For instance, when I edited Wikipedia in 2005, much of my work focused on articles related to Avatar: The Last Airbender--characters, episodes, and the like. Those numerous articles stood for quite a while, but then a shift toward strident deletionism occurred within the community, and most of my work on those articles, and the work of many other editors, was deleted. Unsurprisingly, most of the other editors involved in writing those articles are gone now too. In fact, Wikipedia's editorship has decreased every year since 2007 (source), and I have no doubt that Wikipedia's decline is in no small part due to overzealous applications of the general notability guideline--which seems to be applied harsher every year. It's a shame, and a vicious cycle: Good editors are driven away for some legitimate reason (their work getting deleted; receiving personal attacks that go unpunished; dealing with abusive admins; etc.), and this in turn decreases the number of editors willing to try to change things for the better. Not that I'd blame you for leaving, but I do hope you decide otherwise. –Prototime (talk · contribs) 05:50, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

Tezero, listen... if it's any consolation or if it makes you feel better, two years ago I've had almost 10,000 articles of my own deleted. The process was horrible and it drove me into retiring from Wikipedia for over a year. It took me literally hours of days to create them, and that's something I never want to repeat! The work you have done for the Sonic characters are great, I mean they're of high quality and very comprehensive. Sorry I can't contribute to the discussion as I'm taking time off. All I'm saying is that I know how you feel and I've been in a probably worse situation. Regards Jaguar 14:24, 22 May 2014 (UTC)

  • I've been quite busy with personal matters this last week, but I just wanted to chime in to say not to give up on Wikipedia. I think the bulk of your contributions are within the policy and guidelines and should be kept in some fashion (as a stand-alone article or through merging). I think the merging and deletion results are mainly the result of consensus-based editorial discretion. In other words it's more of a culture war than a policy war. Nothing much that can be done against this except to stick around and be an advocate for your point of view when you can. As some of the others above have pointed out, there have been retirements and departures from Wikipedia over similar incidents and I think that's a shame. If people who want the sort of coverage you are providing all depart then their voices are lost in the discussions leading to consensus. I have refrained from most commentary on the Sonic-related merge discussions because I know little about the subject, and honestly I tend to find character-related articles to be a bit fluffy, but I do support the good efforts of those who are interested in these topics as long as they are within policy/guideline as I think yours are, and I believe in a diversity of voices leading to consensus. So... tl;dr: Please don't get discouraged. We need people like you. -Thibbs (talk) 12:06, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

Sonic characters

I agree with what you said about the train stations in Germany getting their own articles but not vg characters. It's ridiculous that at least three of the articles to be merged (Blaze the Cat, E-102 Gamma, and Cream the Rabbit) are GAs. Is there anything we can do to loosen up requirements on video game characters? I think that one way you can tell that the policy on characters is too harsh is the number of characters that have their own article in other languages, but not English (You can see this in movie characters also). Cream the Rabbit has an article in Arabic, Spanish, Korean, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Thai. Wikipedia:Notability (fictional characters) (a draft that hasn't been edited since January of 2013) may be the place to start for changing the notability policy on characters. Please reply here. Thanks. --AmaryllisGardener talk 13:24, 29 May 2014 (UTC)

@AmaryllisGardener: there's a discussion about that as we speak. Please chime in there if you feel strongly about it. Tezero (talk) 17:02, 29 May 2014 (UTC)

Lego Marvel Super Heroes

Hey, man! The Lego Marvel Super Heroes article is crap (sorry for the term), it was abandoned ever since the release and it looks quite horrible. I decided to take matters in my own hands and picked it up so, I'm pretty much the only one working on it in the moment. I'm using my sandbox page for the draft, since I don't wanna release it officialy before I'm 100% sure that it looks and sounds neat. I was wondering if you could help me work on the page (if you could just give a few tips, and contructive criticism, it would be nice), so it would get the article it deserves. Please, if you do engage in editing the page, use my sandbox for it, I built it just for the article. Thanks for everything! URDNEXT (talk)

GA review

Just posting a new thread here, in case you haven't seen my new post in my last thread. Just saying that in case you thought I may be pestering you.

So, would you mind reviewing my GA nomination for the album I nominated? In response, I'll consider reviewing the Tony Hawk's Underground article if you nominate that. But keep in mind that I have very little experience with reviewing GA nominations, but I'll do my best. I've only ever reviewed one of them up to this point. Kokoro20 (talk) 02:17, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

Well, I'll have to see if I decide to review it. I've took a glimpse at the article a few times already. Looks like you worked pretty hard on it within just a few days. Kokoro20 (talk) 02:32, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, I've played every Tony Hawk game up to Proving Ground. I wasn't interested in trying Ride or Shred, due to the mandatory skateboard peripheral controls, and the very high price of the games. So, are you still taking a break after the GA review for Underground or not? It seems that people lost interest in discussing the notability for the Sonic character articles, at least for now. Kokoro20 (talk) 18:27, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
Well, I played the PS2 version of Proving Ground. In fact, I actually forgot there was a Wii version of that game. I own every Tony Hawk game from Pro Skater 3 to Project 8. While I've played Pro Skater, Pro Skater 2, and Proving Ground, I don't own them. I actually would have tried the two games I didn't play if it wasn't for the skateboard peripheral.
It doesn't seem that people outside of the video games WikiProject is interested in discussing the notability of those articles. I just wonder when the discussions will actually close.
Anyway, have you checked the article I nominated for GA? Of course, it's up to you if you review it, but I'm just asking if you've checked it. Kokoro20 (talk) 17:01, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
I really do wonder why that project is so strict with video game character articles. Back when I first browsed Wikipedia, which was in 2006 (I didn't regularly edit until 2011), notability wasn't a big concern, and way more characters had their own articles. Then in 2008, notability started to get more enforced, and many character articles got merged. Anyway, I understand why such a guideline exists. To prevent anything and everything from getting an article. I just often disagree with how it's enforced.
Thanks for taking up the review. I have responded to the concerns you brought up. Kokoro20 (talk) 22:35, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
I have addressed (or at least tried to) the additional concerns that you and Prism brought up for my GA in case you hadn't notice. And the discussion with the Sonic characters are still going on, I see. I still agree with the points you're making. Kokoro20 (talk) 23:11, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
Okay, I now addressed the author name issue you brought up in the GA review. And I really don't have much else to say in that discussion. I've already said pretty much all I needed to say before. It looks like even Czar is done with the discussion now too. Kokoro20 (talk) 05:30, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
Well, what do you think would be a better idea? Should we wait a little bit for him? If he ends up not replying again, you may as well just pass the article. Kokoro20 (talk) 00:38, 11 June 2014 (UTC)

Main Page appearance: Pokémon Channel

This is a note to let the main editors of Pokémon Channel know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on June 30, 2014. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at present, please ask Bencherlite (talk · contribs). You can view the TFA blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/June 30, 2014. If it needs tweaking, or if it needs rewording to match improvements to the article between now and its main page appearance, please edit it, following the instructions at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. The blurb as it stands now is below:

Pokémon Channel is a 2003 video game in the Pokémon series for the GameCube, developed by Ambrella and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. The game's central premise is to watch television with a Pikachu so as to help Professor Oak refine and promote his TV network. It contains elements of adventure, digital pet, and simulation genres. The player can explore full 3D environments, have Pikachu converse with other Pokémon, and collect various items. The game was developed rather quickly to serve as a sequel to the Nintendo 64 title Hey You, Pikachu! and to promote the Nintendo e-Reader accessory, and uses a novel 3D texturing effect. It was first showcased at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2003 and later at a month-long series of promotional events in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. It was released on July 18, 2003 in Japan, December 1 in North America, and April 2 in Europe. In Japan, the game sold 66,373 copies in its first year. It received mixed reviews, which generally criticized its low level of interactivity and repetitive sound effects, though its collecting aspects and visuals were somewhat better received. (Full article...)

You (and your talk-page stalkers) may also be interested to hear that there have been some changes at the TFA requests page recently. Nominators no longer need to calculate how many "points" an article has, the instructions have been simplified, and there's a new nomination system using templates based on those used for DYK suggestions. Re: Potential superpowers, GA Review

Hello Tezero, apologies for the somewhat delayed reply, I have been a little busy lately. I think your suggestion would work quite nicely actually, its a smart idea! An extra section where we can discuss the merits of other countries would really help towards a more comprehensive representation of the subject.

Also, regarding the IP at the GA Review, you might want to see this discussion (Connection? (Suspicious activity cont.)). Its a strong possibility the IP isn't the innocent good faith editor he is trying to be. 12:35, 3 July 2014 (UTC)

Tezero, I was reviewing your edits on the Potential Superpowers but really the problem lies with Antiochus the Great he started here with this anti Russia campaign[17] and on the Potential Superpowers here[18] and OccultZone is involved but also Antiochus the Great has been known to hide behind multiple ips even though he says he doesn't. The problem started with Russia as a superpower to not a superpower anymore on December 30, 2013 with Antiochus the Great and he did it on the potential superpowers May 2014. These two editors are behind this anti Russia campaign, they hate Russia and so they put it's all Russia academic sources and discussions off the map. They are pro USA all the way even though Antiochus the Great is British; I have their history of communication with each since April 2013 so I know their track record to verify their anti Russia on this quest to make sure Russia is not placed on the superpower list.
The fact is Russia is a superpower, period. One verified academic sources is Russia in the 21st Century: The Prodigal Superpower, they continue to denounce it like no tomorrow is:
Steven Rosefielde, International Relations Professor UC University, 2004
http://www.amazon.com/Russia-21st-Century-Prodigal-Superpower/dp/0521545293
That's an academic source period, that is 110% credible as it was written by a foreign relations expert professor, it's a college school book.
but for Antiochus the Great and OccultZone to say its out of date, oh really but that is absurd when it comes to their source on the Superpowers page such as the academic source "Lonely Superpower or Unapologetic Hyperpower? Analyzing American Power in the post–Cold War Era", it is outdated, way outdated. You can not have a 1999 source to say the United States is a superpower, it is not even revised since 1999 either. If the US is a superpower then it needs current academic sources to state it is a superpower. The url is http://post.queensu.ca/~nossalk/papers/hyperpower.htm

but for Antiochus the Great and OccultZone they don't want to reply if there is no new update, the only other one is a 2008 source they have, that's it.

I also have over 100 or so Russia superpower articles from 2003 to 2014, so I am not just saying that but I have those sources at hand when I will use them but I have a hard time dealing with the corrupted editors on these pages who are specifically out to denounce Russia each and everytime.
Also, I am not Russian myself. I was born in Maine, I am full American as their is nothing Russian about me, so my tale is I support the facts not the anti countries some editors are using Wikipedia for. There needs to be some editor elimination on these articles to point out that there is discrimination on countries as I have witnessed.
Second why do I not have a registered user name, I feel I had too much drama with the talkpages so I use my home ip instead. I will email the links but don't like to post my oxforduniversity email address online. If you have any ideas, post please post them here please.
Anyway I wanted to forward that info to you guys, thanks.--192.173.144.237 (talk) 23:25, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

GA Nominations

I appreciate your concern about my understanding of the Good Article Nomination process, but I do not appreciate summarily failing of the articles nominated. I put them there to be reviewed, and if they fall beneath the standard in some small way, I am on hand to fix any issues. Auto failing the articles accomplishes nothing; these articles are much closer to passing GA than you are saying. As for the suggestion that I can't nominate articles because I haven't contributed to it, so what? If the article is ready, I will nominate it and guide it to GA status. You're a good editor and I don't want any hard feelings or difficulties, but I want to be able to nominate articles and get a fair hearing. Thanks, Judgesurreal777 (talk) 15:23, 3 July 2014 (UTC)

"Leaks"

There's been a discussion on this project for a month now. The fact there was a leak is not inherently important to the discussion of the article. You were arguing over the inclusion of the meme and didn't even bother with the "leak" discussion. In fact, you bailed as soon as you were told to go to the talk page.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 17:59, 5 July 2014 (UTC)

That is correct, there was discussion. However, there was certainly no consensus for its removal, as is clearly shown on the article's talk page. Ryulong, you can't just attempt to unilaterally violate consensus and remove the sourced information. Artichoker[talk] 18:02, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
What are you talking about? I went to the talk page right away, and started the section on the meme. Tezero (talk) 18:00, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
You (Tezero) posted one thing on the talk pageand then didn't do anything else on the talk page and you certainly said nothing about the "leaks".
And Artichoker, there's consensus to exclude the information that certainly outnumbers your insistence that it be included. The only thing that there was a remote consensus for was using the various reliable sources to report on the content of the "leak" but there's no consensus to say that we need to retain those sources or the information that a "leak" occured,.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 18:03, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
Consensus? Where? I'm not sure what you're referring to. We try to have a discussion, but you always end up leaving part-way though. Then you wait for a few days. Then you attempt to revert without consensus again. This is the second time you have attempted this. Artichoker[talk] 18:07, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
What do you mean I left half way through? I was the last person to say anything in any of the threads that were started on the article's talk page on any of these content disputes.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 18:11, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
Sure, but you conceded without meaningful argument. For example at the end of Talk:Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire#Discussion of the leak, you made a sole driveby comment to my last point, stating: 'You have a low bar for whats "influential" then.' Other than insulting my intelligence, I don't really have a response to that meaningless comment and you refused to refute my above point. Then you waited silently for a few days, and then tried to unilaterally revert without consensus. Artichoker[talk] 18:18, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
It's still 2 on 1 considering Chambr has been agreeing with me on the removal and you have just been vociferous in its retention and latching onto the other disputes to try to keep it in.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 18:20, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
Ryulong, "2 on 1" is not how consensus works. And Tezero has also contested the removal in any case. With this is mind, I'd say you definitely do not have consensus to perform that removal of content. Artichoker[talk] 18:26, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
There was never a consensus to add it in the first place, so who's right and who's wrong?—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 18:35, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
There is never consensus to add anything most anything in the first place. For example, there was never "consensus" for me to make this edit, but it still happened just fine. However once this sourced information appears, and especially if there are multiple editors contesting its removal, then you really do need consensus to remove this sourced information. Artichoker[talk] 18:41, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
If the content is contested at any point why is it allowed to remain?—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 19:01, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
Because one person doesn't unilaterally get to decide that since he contests the content, he now gets to immediately remove it. Now, if consensus was established that the content should be removed, then it can indeed be removed. Artichoker[talk] 19:10, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
Ryulong, I don't get it. You emphasized numbers > argument strength (although your numbers weren't even right) for determining consensus, but now you say that one person contesting content, despite other users supporting it, is enough that it should be gone. Tezero (talk) 21:39, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
Just because I'm the only person raising shit about it now doesn't invalidate the opinions of people who previously agreed with my arguments.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 21:41, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
Masem was agreeing about the scans being reliable; he wasn't disputing their notability after the information was shown to be correct. Moreover, Blake contended with me and Artichoker by referencing WP:SAYWHEREYOUGOTIT, as did Sergecross by pointing out that the CoroCoro scans had been covered in reliable sources. Chambr I will admit did agree with you, but he didn't really offer any additional points and, as Artichoker has said, numbers alone aren't supposed to determine consensus, even if you did have numbers on your side. Tezero while I would like to make a comment about Russia being a superpower on the GA potential superpowers discussion, I found ip user 151.40.13.125 above commenting to you yesterday is the same ip who is disruptive ip hoping on these discussions, who is speaking entirely against Russia in all ip’s I found below. All the same editor, all ip addresses are from Florence Italy. I would like to discredit this user out of this discussion since it is all the same wording slamming disruptive edits against Russia since 2013 that this is not effective when users like this are disruptive and are doing the opposite. Here is the list with links of the contributes starting July 8, 2014‎ - 151.40.13.161[19] , July 7, 2014 151.40.45.125[20], March 17, 2014 - 151.40.95.82[21], April 2013 - Bocca Trabaria[22], March 2014 - 151.40.24.9[23], March 2014 -151.40.7.192[24], Sept 23, 2013 - 151.40.18.30[25], Sept 15, 2013 - 151.40.55.125[26], March 18, 2014 - 151.40.35.236[27], March 18, 2014 - 151.40.9.149[28], March 17, 2014 - 151.40.72.141[29], March 16, 2014 - 151.40.14.179[30], March 16, 2014 - 151.40.83.17[31], March 15, 2014 - 151.40.69.199[32], March 15, 2014 - 151.40.34.218[33], March 15, 2014 - 151.40.120.19[34], Feb 4, 2014 - 151.40.63.30[35], Feb 4, 2014- 151.40.16.167[36], Dec 28, 2013 - 151.40.107.93[37], Dec 27, 2013 - 151.40.27.25[38], Dec 27, 2013 - 151.40.64.77[39], Dec 25, 2013 - 151.40.54.32[40], Dec 23, 2013 - 151.40.41.170[41], Dec 22, 2013 - 151.40.9.139[42], Sept 8, 2013 - 151.40.102.200[43], August 14, 2013 - 151.40.125.50[44], May 10, 2013 – Mediolanum[45], Oct 22, 2013 - Glc72[46], May 21, 2013 - 151.40.11.180[47], May 14, 2013 -151.40.59.151[48], May 14, 2013 - 151.40.60.108[49], May 11, 2013 - Bocca_Trabaria[50]
That is the list which this ip user 151.40.13.125 is certainly not a good editor because of past disruption on this very subject.--173.224.116.150 (talk) 08:56, 8 July 2014 (UTC)

Potential super powers

  • I apologize, I wasn't trying to stalk your or anything, I was just bored on my phone today, and checked to see yours and Czar's contributions to see if either of you had merged any articles. (I'd been to busy to do so.) I tend to wander from one thing to the next on the project, and just happened to check out your GA discussion.
  • Can you give me some some difs of that IP making those accusatory remarks? If you can, I'll give him a warning to stop. I'm not doubting you, I just thought itd be easier for you to dig up since you're dealing with him already. Sergecross73 msg me 23:46, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

Potential superpowers sources

Tezero while I am glad you edited in Russia back into the potential superpowers a few days ago, I would like to cross out some of the articles and replace with better articles the state Russia leading toward a superpower than the opposite. Can I work with you on this? I would like to exchange some of the articles I have and let you view what I have that are worth replacing in or even wording more or depending. I mean using information that speaks what diplomats, ambassador's, presidents, US senators, professors, news media's claiming Russia is on superpower status is worth a look at. I don't want to really discredit your work, I am glad you made your points and I am happy you helped bring Russia back in. I am here to help, while I forwarded that one ip that make comments to you earlier I originally kept the list I notice of the Italy ip always on the same troll so if I saw that one editor popping in, I kept their editing history on file, anyway would like to here from you on this, thanks--173.224.116.150 (talk) 09:09, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
