Hello

1. Hello Robert Jamal, I hope you are doing well, I noticed your interest in editing articles related to Ghanaian football. Putting together a team to edit extensively, get in touch if you are interested. Thanks.

2. I noticed a few errors from the articles you created on Senior High Schools in the Eastern Region. That is a good initiative, but kindly edit the categories and cross check the sentences since I realized you are using a template the categories were all the same, like the year they were established were all indicated as 1957 along with a few errors but aside from that keep it up. Kudos. Ampimd (talk) 17:44, 28 September 2021 (UTC)

@Ampimd:, Thank you for reaching out, I would love to join the team. Also thank you for pointing out those errors. Will get in touch. Robertjamal12 (talk) 17:48, 28 September 2021 (UTC)

Rollback granted

Hi Robertjamal12. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when using rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~TheresNoTime (to explain!) 03:19, 28 October 2021 (UTC)

Drew Fulk // Commercial Sucess Information Update

I apologize, I accidentally hit publish without adding the explanation below --

New material is more representaive of "commercial success" now that the producer has had actual #1 songs at Billboard. Up until now, he had a smaller version of success so I was replacing the old, smaller success news, with things that are more of a broadstroke, accepted measure of success in the music industry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexploegsma (talkcontribs) 07:20, 29 October 2021 (UTC)

About your recent revert in the article Drevnice

Hellp Robertjamal12, no this edit wasn't a test, and I wouldn't deem it "non-constructive" nor vandalist, but I'm not willing to start edit wars and if you think the German name for this river was not relevant for this page, I won't discuss it. --91.170.28.20 (talk) 19:14, 29 October 2021 (UTC)

Beowulf

Hi, thank you for your work on combatting vandalism. I noticed that you reverted an IP edit to the plot summary of Beowulf here yesterday as it was not referenced. I think the lack of new references was OK as the edit did not change the meaning of the sentence, which was already referenced to the a section of the poem. However this was not explained in an edit summary, so it still made sense to revert the edit. TSventon (talk) 11:09, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

@TSventon:, Okay, I get the point. Thank you -- Robertjamal12 (talk) 11:18, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
I wasn't criticising the revert, my only suggestion would be to include advice to use an edit summary on the IP editor's talk page message, if the tool gives that option. TSventon (talk) 11:31, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
@TSventon:, I know you weren't criticizing the revert, apologies if my reply meant so, I usually advise them to use the edit summary, maybe I missed this one. Anyways, thank you -- Robertjamal12 (talk) 11:35, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

Eddy de Jongh page

Please note that all the recent changes made to the page 'Eddy de Jongh' have been made by Eddy de Jongh himself. These changes are all but unconstructive as they correct a number of mistakes and provide more information. Moreover, I've included a selected bibliography. 'Book chapters should actually read 'articles', as that is what they are first and foremost. The current bibliography contains a number of errors that I had corrected a short while ago, but that you reversed. You may ask me to avoid editing or creating articles about myself but the factual changes (the page consists almost exclusively of dates, appointments and bibliographic information) I've made can barely be considered a conflict of interest.

In actual fact, you were so quick to undo changes made, you cannot possibly have come to the substantiated conclusion this page was being violated. You probably even failed to see that the final adjustments were made to parts of the page I myself had uploaded only a few hours earlier.

For your information, this page was created by Crispulop (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Crispulop), who even states the following on his page: Since 2015 I started writing pages on first the Spinoza Prize winners and subsequently members Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW). As of early I have created over 100 articles. I am not even really interested in academics, I think I just liked that the notability of KNAW members is very clear per Wikipedia:Notability (academics). So if you feel you can improve on those articles, please do! --2A02:A45F:869A:1:11DA:C3BD:FA6F:AF22 (talk) 10:27, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

@2A02:A45F:869A:1:11DA:C3BD:FA6F:AF22: Hi, I'm finding it difficult to understand what you mean. Please can you explain better with links to the said page or adequately explain what you mean? . Also if the article you are talking about is not related to this section, Kindly create a new section next time Thank you -- Robertjamal12 (talk) 10:37, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

Apologies for not being clear, but with 'this page' in the comment above, I actually meant the Eddy de Jongh page that we're dicussing. --2A02:A45F:869A:1:11C8:CC6:DC92:D1FB (talk) 15:43, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

Africa ceramics

Hello, I removed the line referring to Africa not having a written history of their ceramics during the time they developed pottery because it seemed unnecessary to include it, since it is not included in any other part of the article to describe pottery making in other regions of the world, who also didn't leave a written record about their development of pottery. There were no written records 9,400 years ago when Africa developed pottery. Why would there be a statement about it in the section about Africa?--Mannysophia (talk) 17:42, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

Women in Red

Hi there, Robertjamal12, and welcome to Women in Red. Thanks first of all for the women's biographies your have created in English and for all those in Twi. I see that many of the latter have not yet appeared on the EN wiki. If you can find good secondary sources, it would be good to have them in English too. In this connection, you might find it useful to look through our Primer for creating women's biographies. You should be able to find some interesting names on our Redlist index, especially in the Wikidata list on Ghana. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing and all the best for 2022!--Ipigott (talk) 09:50, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

Kofi Genfi moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Kofi Genfi, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In addition, there appears to be a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 11:55, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
