Institute of Polymaths

Hello, it is not clear why the educational page Institute of Polymaths was deleted from Wikipedia? Can you clarify your criteria. Many thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.49.47.146 (talk) 00:33, 25 January 2015 (UTC)

The Institute of Polymaths is a valid educational page, your criteria for deletion do not seem just, please can you retract it. Kindest regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:630:12:2E1B:A839:B005:E248:4EB1 (talk) 16:53, 25 January 2015 (UTC)

Apologies, I am new to this. I have now created an account. Hope this helps with my query. The Institute of Polymaths is a valid educational page, I believe its deletion is therefore unfair and was hoping that it could be re-instated. Kind regards, Cluelessit (talk) 21:28, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

  • Hutan, why create a new account? Why cannot you use the Wikiknowledgesource (talk · contribs) account with which you created the article? I could also have deleted your page as a copyvio from your website. When I looked at that website, I thought "this is some school kid creating a test site, probably using a standard GoDaddy template - it is virtually empty". I was amazed to discover that you are a lecturer at a reasonably respectable university. As I asked, using the website's contact form - to which you have not responded - in what respect does this institute actually exist: does it have any activities; does it publish anything? And even if does either of these things it will not qualify for a Wikipedia article until reliable sources have noticed it. What sort of stuff is on the other 172 domain names that you have registered? I shall expect a reply to each of my questions. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:33, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

Mark Anthony (psychic)

RHaworth, I am trying to identify and remove the offending material from the deleted page, and could find no trace of the deleted page. I have attempted to recreate the content without infringing information, but the new submission is denied for having the same title as the deleted page. Would it be easiest to resubmit under a new title?

  • "The new submission is denied …" - what are you talking about - neither the horrible title you used nor the preferred title of Mark Anthony (psychic) is protected. But kindly have the decency to wait until someone with no COI thinks the guy is notable and writes about him here. Instead, go and tidy up the zoominfo page where the same info has been zoomed in triplicate. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:41, 26 January 2015 (UTC)

Morning Sign Out

Hello Sir! I am the one who write the article for the Morning Sign Out. I understand that the article leaned more towards promotion than being encyclopedic and I will edit my text to reflect so. I would like to request a chance to rectify my mistake, also any suggestions you may have so that such problems do not arise again would be most appreciated! Thank you for the opportunity! • I note that you are lead editor staff. Preventing such problems arising again is very simple: sign out of Wikipedia and stay signed out. When your website becomes notable, someone with no COI will write about it here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:39, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

Republican Centre for Technology Transfer

Hello. You have deleted the article Republican Centre for Technology Transfer because it included copyrighted information, which is not permitted on Wikipedia. But permission to use thisdocument has been granted. Copyrighted information was copied from this source.

Permission is stored in the archives of OTRS. Its identification number 2013071910002523. It's my fault, that I forgot to point out the source of the article. Please, retrieve that article. Yours sincerely, MaksPR94 11:51, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

  • You have submitted an OTRS ticket re the page at ictt.by but have you submitted one in respect of http://co2olbricks.syncope.de/?id=79 which is the copyvio source involved in the latest deletion? More importantly, despite many links I am dubious about whether notability was established. But feel free to re-submit preferably entirely in your own words so there can be no copyvio issues. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:39, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

http://co2olbricks.syncope.de/?id=79 represent partner of Co2olBricks project and all information has been copied from ictt.by - official website of Republican Centre for Technology Transfer. Whether there is a copyvio? Speaking about notability should be said that RCTT is on a par with such organizations as Association of University Technology Managers, Enterprise Europe Network and other. — MaksPR94 11:29, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

  • On the co2olbricks.syncope.de page I can see no copyright notice, therefore we must assume "all rights reserved". So use of the text here without an OTRS tisket is blatant copyvio. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:32, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

A Better Fort and BAALS Music Festival

Hello I included the links to both pages below so you can easily reference the deleted pages. I helped write the pages for an event and an organization in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I now understand the reason for deletion. Great lesson here! I will need to assure that I paraphrase correctly when using references to obtain information.

Do I have to rewrite both of these pages from scratch? Or am I able to have the page reinstated as a draft so I can rewrite areas that were not paraphrased correctly which inherently caused a copyright violation. I'll then resubmit. Draft:BAALS Music Festival and Draft:A Better Fort. — Liilbuck (talk) 16:18, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

  • Using naked URLs instead of wikilinks suggests to me someone who is here with intentions different from building an encyclopedia. Perhaps you can start by explaining the connection between yourself and Abffw (talk · contribs), Nyzzy Nyce (talk · contribs) and Snajamahmed (talk · contribs). I find it difficult to believe that these accounts are being operated by four different people. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:16, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

Certainly, there is a direct connection between these users. I know all of them personally, they are 4 of 17 individuals in our club (including myself). A group of us started this club several years back called the NE INDIANA WIK-a-NONS. We meet semi-monthly via Google Hangouts and quarterly at a pub to discuss articles, self-teach and share tips for writing on Wikipedia. Our focus is on notable persons, places and things from Northeast Indiana.

I see your comments on "naked URLs" instead of Wikilinks. I did a bit of research and I look forward to taking this info back to the group! Quick question though... correct me if I'm wrong. I read here (http://www.wordstream.com/naked-link) that a naked link is a hyperlink for which the anchor text is the URL itself, so called because the URL is fully visible to readers. If this is what you mean by naked URL what do you recommend we use instead of this? I may have naked URL mistaken in terms of what it means with Wikipedia. Lastly, and in reference to my first post here...Do I have to rewrite both of these pages from scratch? Or am I able to have the page reinstated as a draft so I can rewrite areas per your recommendations and help, then resubmit? — Liilbuck (talk) 04:57, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

  • OK, explanation of multiple accounts accepted. I cannot restore the pages because they would be copyvios but I can email them - read this. As to links, you and your mates in the pub definitely need to do some homework on some very basic aspects of wiki markup. To understand what follows you need to look at the markup of this message. The wordstream link you give above is exactly what I mean by a naked URL. It would have been better written as this page. (It is also something of an insult to Wikipedia since you could have found the same info at bare URLs.) For links to Wikipedia pages: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:A_Better_Fort was trebly wrong - it is naked, it is in external format and it includes m. A Better Fort is still wrong for being external. Draft:A Better Fort is fine and this link is even better. The main reason I insist on wikilinks is that they go into the database: Special:WhatLinksHere/Draft:A Better Fort tells us that the draft has been discussed here. It would not have reported it if I had left your link in external format. (And we very rarely need <br/> in wikimarkup!) — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:30, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

This is great information! Indeed, I think we need to focus in on wiki markup and I'll be bringing this Wikipedia article I found to the next meeting for review. I see what you mean about wikilinks going into the database. Understood about not being able to restore the pages because they would be copyvios. I followed the instructions so that you can email the copy and we can get started on re-writing using your recommendations and others that we pick up reading up on wiki markup. Please email a copy of the deleted articles for Draft:A Better Fort and Draft:BAALS Music FestivalLiilbuck (talk) 16:36, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of user:inetbiz

I'm quite baffled what was self-promotional about my user page? I linked to where I work. You link to your blog. What's the difference? I'd like to have my user page back. I regularly contribute donations to wikipedia. I am not using to as a hosted promotional page. It's there to merely express who I am and about me so that others who collaborate with me on a given topic understand my point of view. -- Inetbiz (talk) 03:54, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

  • User pages are meant only for active editors and it is difficult to count you as one. They are also intended for an editor to talk about what they do on Wikipedia. Yours was pure social networking so it got zapped. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:31, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

  • Not putting any link is one of the reasons why it is getting deleted! We need links to independent reliable sources. Also, we need to see you actually creating a Wikipedia article instead of dumping a load of unformatted text. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:37, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

Margot & the Nuclear So and So's

Hi RHaworth, I noticed that you closed Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Margot & the Nuclear So and So's as speedy delete. Did you mean to delete Margot & the Nuclear So and So's as well? John A. Chapman, journalist

Hi! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you deleted a page John A. Chapman, journalist as a G12 although it was marked with {{OTRS pending}} on the talk page. The author of the article is actually the copyright holder of the source material as he explained here: User_talk:Steven_Paul_Fisher#Colorado_poetry_fellowship. He says that he sent the permission to the OTRS team, which User Mike V confirmed here: User_talk:Mike_V#User_talk:Steven_Paul_Fisher.23Colorado_poetry_fellowship. So, the article is actually not a copyright violation. Vanjagenije (talk) 01:06, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

Oh, you actually deleted many more of his articles. Although those articles are of very poor quality, I'm sure those are not copyright violations. Vanjagenije (talk) 01:10, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

  • Not exactly a great waste of effort. If creation of each page took more than a minute, I should be very surprised. I have explained my attitude here on the offender's talk page. I am also rather concerned at his unwillingness to discuss his work. A block has had some effect - we shall see what happens. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:27, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

Ronald Appleton

Hello, I am saddened to see that an article I had submitted has been seen to contain copyright infringement material. The article took me several weeks of difficult research and I resorted to asking a colleague to help with a couple of cases. I have no idea how this could have happened and after reading a lot of the wikipedia guidelines I have no idea what I can do about any of this. I do not even have a copy of the draft because I had to reformat my computer over the holidays so I can't even compare the copyrighted material with the draft.

From here, what am I allowed to do? Ideally I'd like to ask for my article back so I can delete anything not written by myself and make any other changes necessary. I would feel terrible if all my work would have been utterly wasted. I'm sorry if you are not the right person to ask about this, I am not the most technologically savvy and feel a little helpless. "Reference: 17:43, 30 January 2015 RHaworth (talk | contribs) deleted page Draft:Ronald Appleton (G12: Unambiguous copyright infringement of http://www.independent.co.uk/news/no-defence-in-ira-bomb-trial-1567616.html)" <Ugly naked link deleted.> (I'm sorry if this is not the perfect format, I'm not 100% what it was, but this is how I access it). If you could offer me any advice I would be greatly appreciative. Kind regards, Samirsoormally (talk) 14:39, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

  • Definitely not the perfect format - Draft:Ronald Appleton is much prettier. Rather a long winded way of saying "please email me the text". So read this. One section of your article was an unambiguous copyright infringement of the source cited above. Another section was a copyvio from YouTube. How much more was copyvio? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:53, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

I followed your instructions and my email is confirmed now. After taking a look at the article I will be deleting both paragraphs not written and cited by myself. Everything left will be newspaper articles and 2 well cited books. This is my mistake for not checking before submission and I hope I have a chance to rectify it. Thank you for your help. — Samirsoormally (talk) 13:46, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

  • Text emailed. "Everything left will be newspaper articles and 2 well cited books" - these must also be deleted - copying newspaper articles and books is just as much a copyvio as copying from websites. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:35, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado landform)

Hi RHaworth, I've been working on cleaning up a number of Colorado articles by an ambitious editor, but misguided editor. Cheyenne Mountain massif and Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado landform) should really be Cheyenne Mountain. I think Cheyenne Mountain landform was created first, and then renamed to Cheyenne Mountain massif... and I've inserted the direct links into articles and removed "distinguish" statements that didn't really apply in a few cases.

Cheyenne Mountain, from my experience is called Cheyenne Mountain. It seems non-sensical to have a redirect with the mountain name + landform in the title. Is it just me? Right now, the only page that links to Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado landform) is the user's page. Can I tag it for speedy deletion now? Thanks much! -- CaroleHenson (talk) 17:44, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

  • The speedy deletion rules for redirects include a "recently created" clause. Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado landform) is not deletable because of that clause. More importantly it is currently receiving quite heavy incoming traffic. I suspect that this will fall off sharply now that you have fixed the incoming links. If the traffic drops to a low level, come back to me in three months time and I will be willing to ignore the recently created clause and delete it because it is such an implausible title.
Cheyenne, Colorado on the other hand, looks a very likely title, has some useful looking content, is not recently created and has some incoming traffic. For this one, if you really want to delete go to RfD. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:14, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for the "recently created" clarification. The incoming traffic is likely at least partially due to a posting that I made on the Talk:Colorado Springs, Colorado talk page.--CaroleHenson (talk) 20:56, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Draft:Vocademy

I am trying to understand why this was marked for speedy deletion. All content was factual and cited from respected and well distributed 3rd party sources. The page format was modeled after existing topics of a similar subject. I am trying to understand more specifically what should have been added to or removed from the page to avoid deletion so I don't waste hours of my time in the future creating pages that will be just summarily deleted without comment. Thanks. JennaSys (talk) 18:53, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

  • Deletion as spam was possibly a bit harsh but your contributions history suggests COI so the best I can offer is that you take it to deletion review. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:14, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion of RINA

Hi, you recently marked Draft:Recursive InterNetwork Architecture (RINA) for speedy deletion, and it has indeed been deleted. I would ask that the article be at least temporarily recovered, as there was significant time and energy spent in crafting it, and there are not any other copies. It was suggested that there were G11 and G12 problems, however, since the article is now completely gone, I have no way of even attempting to resolve the issues, other than starting over completely from scratch. The G11 problem could have been addressed by editing the article, and G12 could have been solved by letting the original submitter of the article, User_talk:Edugrasa, who is also the copyright holder, to formally grant access, as was his intent. I ask as a bystander of the whole situation, who has been in contact with the original submitters, and was originally curious about creating an article for the topic, myself. -- Cowmoose21 (talk) 22:34, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

  • Thank you for giving me the copyvio source - Google does not seem to have seen it. Print screen indeed! OK, the page was clever and inhibited saving the image but a quick "view source" should have pointed you to the photo by itself. Also, if you find it as a JPG, save it as one - do not convert to PNG. But don't upload here or Commons! — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:21, 2 February 2015 (UTC)

Lisa Pellegrene

Hi there RHaworth I would love to create a bio for this actress: Lisa Pellegrene. Can you give me access to the content that was deleted? I think the link that supposedly violated copyright is not available or has been removed. Joseph1962 05:32, 3 February 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joseph De Cross (talk contribs)

  • There has never been a page at Lisa Pellegrene. How do you expect me to find the article if you don't give me a link? Talking of links, it is virtually impossible for a link to be a copyright violation. I have emailed you the text. Please note that naked URLs are obscene and that you will need to provide better references if the article is to stand any chance. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:44, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

Thanks so much RHaworth! Learning how to edit and teaching myself. You have been very helpful! Never knew about naked links or rot links. Hopefully I can advance and help the community as well! Deleted page

Hi, you deleted my page for a G11 - advertising. Can I retrieve it as it was my sandbox? — Dovikap : Talk 19:52, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

  • It is high time that you learnt how to create wikilinks and your signature probably exceeds the recommended maximum length. You probably don't have much COI so I have restored it but it stands no chance of survival without independent references. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:40, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

Geo Tool "No webservice"

Hi, Not sure if I'm in the right place but the geo lookup function on Wikimedia tool labs has not been working for me for a few days and has your name on it as the maintainer. It may be my code that is wrong but I don't think so. I'm currently working on List of scheduled monuments in Mendip and use the tool accessed by clicking on an OS grid ref to obtain the lat & long. (Example output). Is this something you can help with?— Rod talk 20:27, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

  • Yes, I am the right person. The only ways of getting help at WMflabs are things with which I am unfamiliar: a mailing list or, worse, IRC. But I shall peruse the matter. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:40, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
  • @Rodw: I ventured nervously into IRC and got a swift response. Fixed and has immediately leapt into action. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:44, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

Thanks working for me to - now I have to finish that list.— Rod talk 21:48, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

Food Tank

Hi there - I'm new to Wikipedia, so I apologize in advance if I'm going about this the wrong way. I would like to add a page for Food Tank, but it looks like the previous page was deleted. Is it possible to find out why it was deleted and/or to get the original text to use as a starting place for a new page? I don't want to create a new page with the same issues that caused the original page to be deleted. Thank you. Vxbxl (talk) 23:09, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

Thank you. That is very helpful, and it looks like the issue is correctable. I would appreciate receiving the deleted text via email. I believe that I have set up my account to allow email from other users per your directions. Please let me know if I've messed it all up - there's a bit of a learning curve on here. — Vxbxl (talk) 18:22, 5 February 2015 (UTC)

  • No - cannot do it yet. Did you tick "enable email from other users? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:11, 5 February 2015 (UTC)

Try again now. I checked the box but apparently hadn't finished confirming my email address (failing at basic internet comprehension skills, sorry about that). — Vxbxl (talk) 20:00, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

Got it - thank you for your help and your patience. Vxbxl (talk) 20:40, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

Undelete EasyRisk

I would like to continue / enhance the work on the article EasyRisk EasyRisk, or EasyRisk, depending how to refer to a killed article. Could you please provide me with the deleted text? Shuddhaanandaa Brahmachari

Is it possible to Create a new article to replace this one with one that is within Wikipedia Guidelines? thank you! Normanadari (talk) 03:38, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

  • Yes, of course it is possible but: a) whether such a replacement would stick is another matter and b) you are not the person to write a replacement. On 2014-10-12 you completely replaced what was already a rather spammy article with an even spammier one which had no formatting and no references. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:29, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for your openness to consider a new article. I assure you that the new article will follow the Wikidedia guidelines. Apologies for the fact the one you deleted was not appropriate. I am new at this. Does the next person submitting the article go through the normal Wikipedia submission channels or through you? Thank you again. Help for Creation

Hello, I would like to start an article about a person named Sameer Khan but when I am trying for the same it is showing, I need to take permission from the admin to create the page [1]. Could you please help me to create the page ? Bellus Delphina talk 19:43, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

Hello, Please explain me what you have done, if possible, am not understanding anything. Even am not able to improve the draft page. Please help me. I was not finished with the draft but it got listed for review and now I am trying to improve but not working. The draft page is also named something else not the article name. What will happen to that ? Bellus Delphina talk 20:06, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

  • What on earth were you talking about? I see that you have now realised that you can still work on the article. Among the options open to you are: 1) continue working on the draft where it is and wait for the review process to happen; 2) move the article back to your user space and remove the AfC tag; 3) the existence of Draft:Sameer Khan (musician) provides a useful excuse: move the article to Sameer Khan (fashion choreographer) or some othe title wth (…) at the end and remove the AfC tag. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:38, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

  • You do not deserve this: you shout at me; you claim that an external link format link is a wikilink; you fail to sign and you make the undeletion request three times. Despite all that, I have restored it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:22, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

Aleksandar Odžić

Greetings RHaworth, I am interested to know why this page was deleted: Aleksandar Odžić. The reference that you provided, seems to have something to do with real or fake persons. This is a real person, and a president of a political party that's very rapidly growing. A link was provided in the references section(as requested by a patrol message from "Noian"). This page was created based on a template of a page of the same party's former president Igor Kurjački. What makes one worthy of having a page, and the other not? Regards OblacniVoz — Preceding unsigned comment added by OblacniVoz (talkcontribs) 20:37, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

  • Please learn to provide wikilinks. I did not provide a reference and the problem was that you did not provide one either, at least not an independent one. Moved to User:OblacniVoz/sandbox. Do not even think of moving it back until it is a of a decent size and properly referenced. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:51, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

Children of Camp LeJeune

Hello, I saw that you deleted the Children of Camp LeJeune page. I understand why you did it, as it was not developed. At the same time, there is a lot of information on this subject on the Internet. The poisoning of children at Camp LeJeune was a front page story in Newsweek on 7/25/2014. The book A Trust Betrayed, by Mike Magner, 2014, is about this topic. There is a federal statute passed in 2012 on this topic, the Janey Ensminger Act, which provides a tiny bit of medical care to the children born there or who lived on the base.

There has been TV coverage in the past 2 weeks on the Children of Camp LeJeune bill, which I authored as an attorney and a person born at the base who got disabilities from it. Video. If you would be so kind as to undelete the page, I'd like to add more information to the page so it is more obviously noteworthy. If you are interested in the topic, your help would be great as an editor! -- AndrewStraw (talk) 21:12, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

  • Why bother fussing over undeletion? There was so little in the page - just start again from scratch. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:28, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

C.J. Burton

HI- I have been waiting for my own content to be released from copyright so that my article can be approved. But, just out of question, what part of the content was too similar? Maybe I can change that part just enough so that it is not too similar? Draft:CJ_Burton. — 32ATPs (talk) 16:35, 9 February 2015 (UTC) curlyqueues

  • Please learn to provide wikilinks. You seem to have fixed the copyvio aspect already. Now address yourself to providing decent evidence of notability. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:32, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

Burke and Wills society

More a copying from across the wikiverse than intentional. Is the current version better - and could you add any other categories. Jackiespeel (talk) 17:57, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

  • What are you talking about? There has never been an article called Burke and Wills society. Creating a one sentence article with no evidence of notability is article suicide just as "we" in the previous version was suicidal. Count yourself extremely lucky that I have given you User:Jackiespeel/sandbox. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:32, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

I meant the first redlink entry on List of historical societies - and otherwise would just have put a note/link on the Burke and Wills expedition page - which would solve 'the problem' in this case (and the detail removed from the sandbos). Given that 'most' of the articles for the above list are likely to be of the 'A (locality, state) based local history society. The website is (link here) what would the most suitable solution be? Should the list be simplified - eg square brackets removed until someone actually creates a viable article of a suitable length?

I am 'mostly harmless' - just tend to go for 'tweaks, improvements and starting things off' and some areas are best developed by two/several people working in tandem/multi-person bikes. Jackiespeel (talk) 23:12, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

If you could put a link to the society on the B&W expedition page and remove the sandbox page it should resolve the matter.

My comment on the list is 'know so' not 'suppose so' (having checked out a number of them): some might have 'founded in (date)' and similar added. 'If you think it useful' I could add the websites against the entries on the list and 'someone else' could format them. ('Division of labour and all that'). Jackiespeel (talk) 10:55, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

... In fact, 'being bold' I would say that for 'many' of the local history societies on the list having a sentence at the bottom of the Wikipedia page on the 'geographical area/locality mentioned' to the effect that 'The local history society is (name), (website here)' would suffice. Will now get on with other things :) Jackiespeel (talk) 11:04, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

  • I think you are proposing to add a note about the Burke and Wills Historical Society to the Burke and Wills expedition article together with an external link to their website. Fine - go and do it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:37, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
Yes 'at some point.'

'Generally speaking' is my suggestion (adding links to local history society websites on the locality page) a viable option? Jackiespeel (talk) 22:45, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

GCSE performance of Black African pupils

Deletion of File:GCSE performance of Black African pupils by language spoken at home.png. Hello. I'd just like to note that this was uploaded following my advice at WP:Copyright questions#Screenshot of a table from a journal article. I recommended using {{PD-USonly}} because such tables are clearly not copyrightable under US law, and contrary to Commons, Wikipedia does allow for exceptions regarding the copyright situation in the country of origin. We're currently discussing this at the noticeboard, so please feel free to chime in. Regards, De728631 (talk) 18:23, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

Hi! is it possible that when you deleted Sparkle - Pro Visual Web Design you did not also zap the talk page?
