Wrong name for a station?

Could you check that the name for Cadet Collage Petaro railway station is wrong, as I see there is a Cadet College Petaro. I think the article needs to be moved to the correct name. Shenme Thanks. Shenme (talk) 03:38, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Kautilya3. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Ayesha Siddiqa, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Please note that the verifiability policy mandates that unsourced material that has been challenged, such as by a "fact" tag, or by its removal, may no be added back without a reliable, published source being cited for the content, using an inline citation. The cited source must clearly support the material as presented in the article, and the burden is on the person wishing to keep in the disputed material. So if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so, following these requirements! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Agriauto Industries

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Agriauto Industries requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. DGG ( talk ) 01:03, 19 February 2017 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Malam Jabba ski resort

The article Malam Jabba ski resort has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable resort.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Proposed deletion of Carriage Factory Islamabad

Hello, PAKHIGHWAY. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Carriage Factory Islamabad, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

Your contributed article, Punjab Mass Transit Authority

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Punjab Mass Transit Authority. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Punjab Metrobus Authority. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Punjab Metrobus Authority. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Greenbörg (talk) 16:06, 19 May 2017 (UTC)

Well, actually Punjab Metrobus Authority doesn't exist anymore. The name was officially changed in 2015 by Punjab's Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif as per this news report "CM renames Metrobus Authority as Mass Transit Authority"[1]. The reason for the name change was to form an umbrella for both BRTs and feeder routes/surface street routes. The official website[2] even mentions "Punjab Mass Transit Authority" now, instead of Punjab Metrobus Authority. Unless I'm not aware of a recent news event, I'm quite sure Punjab Metrobus Authority has changed to Punjab Mass Transit Authority. Kindly consider this. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 00:04, 21 May 2017 (UTC)

Cut and Paste moves.

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 16:14, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Moghalpura Railway Workshops

Hello, PAKHIGHWAY,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Moghalpura Railway Workshops should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Moghalpura Railway Workshops .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Hello PAKHIGHWAY, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Baloch Council of North America have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TonyBallioni (talk) 02:28, 22 June 2017 (UTC)

Parent categories

Please STOP adding both parent, child and grand-child categories to the same article
Category:Pashto-language surnames is a subcategory of Category:Pashtun names, which is a subcategory of Category:Pakistani names
We only use the most precise categories - in this case Category:Pashto-language surnames - you should NOT be adding the two more general categories.
Could you please revisit ALL your recent edits and remove the more general categories? - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 18:24, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

Sorry I wasn't aware of that. I'll go back and fix them. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 18:29, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
You obviously haven't gone back. You're adding more categories and leaving me to clean up the mess you have created relating to Pakistani/Pashto/Sindhi etc articles. There is a lot of it. Please help. - Sitush (talk) 12:32, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
Actually, Arjayay, I am not even sure they are usually correct. They are adding categories even when the article says nothing about the origin of the name and when the name is used in multiple different linguistic regions. For example, at Bhatia caste, they added Category:Sindhi-language surnames but the origin could equally well be Punjabi, Rajasthani or Gujarati. I think they need to remove everything unless there is a source in the articles that verifies the categorisation. Categories are subject to WP:V just like everything else. - Sitush (talk) 12:38, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
Actually I am fixing them slowly. I don't have a lot of time to spare on Wikipedia. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 18:25, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
Furthermore, why are not removing Category:Indian family names if this is such a big problem? If you folks are serious about this whole subcategory thing, then Indian Family Names should also be removed. What I find particularly interesting is that you are quick to remove any mention of Pakistan but are perfectly okay leaving in Indian Family Names. Does this not spell hypocrisy? --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 18:57, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
Hi Mar4d, sorry to bother you. But could you please chime in here and figure out what exactly I've done wrong? Apparently claiming our surnames is a crime against humanity. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 19:02, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
The whole issue of categorising name isn't one I've really thought about before I saw your efforts, and my attention was drawn to it mainly because of the overcategorisation. I'm just musing about the language based cats, hence my ping to the originator of this thread. Please be careful not to insinuate that I have a bias against Pakistan, though - you're wrong and it could be construed as a personal attack. I'm not fussed - I get attacked much more seriously most days - but any passing trigger-happy admin could block you etc if you're not careful.

Thanks for helping with the clean up of overcats. - Sitush (talk) 05:34, 15 July 2017 (UTC)

Manwan ni hell

Hi, I had to revert this at Manwan ni hell because you added a lot of unsourced info and the three sources you did put in there are inappropriate. One of those sources was Wikimapia, which is user-generated content, another was a reprint of Wikipedia articles and the third didn't even mention the place. - Sitush (talk) 10:37, 15 July 2017 (UTC)

It turns out you were warned of the IPA sanctions in February of this year. You're headed on a slippery slope towards a topic ban or even a block. - Sitush (talk) 11:40, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

I've already explained the issue. Please note that it seems another admin, Yamaguchi, is now also reverting your categorisations. - Sitush (talk) 22:21, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

July 2017

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Dhillon.

  • You are now being disruptive by continuing your language-based categorisation at numerous article, eg: here. I am not sure if you are aware of the sanctions regime that is in place but will check to see if you have been notified recently. Please stop/ Sitush (talk) 11:38, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
And please note that it is not just me who has problems with these edits - see this, from another contributor, who is respected enough to have been an admin for years. - Sitush (talk) 16:26, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
So Dillion isn't a Punjabi-language surname? Unbelievable. We have an expert who probably has never stepped foot in Punjab tell me what my own people aren't or are. Wow. Just wow. Your majesty, what does one have to prove to your highness that Dhillon's are in fact a Punjabi surname? And apparently you're all experts on Baloch surnames too. Amazing. Absolutely ridiculous nonsense. Here are three links I found within 30 seconds of searching on Google. [3][4][5]--PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 22:21, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
Firstly, the WP:BURDEN is on you to source etc. Secondly, none of those are reliable sources. Thirdly, I think you are still missing the point - the categories aren't about which countries the names are used in (which, in many cases, will be worldwide because of the diaspora) but rather which language they originated in. - Sitush (talk) 22:31, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

July 2017

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Bugti. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 17:58, 19 July 2017 (UTC)

Please consider this as another WP:NOR notice for your edits to Dravida Nadu. These references added by you [6][7][8][9][10][11] don't mention "Dravida Nadu". Several others (e.g. tamilnation.co) are not WP:RS. Two references added by you mention trending of DravidaNadu hashtag, which is not same as the Dravida Nadu movement: adding three large paragraphs full of OR is WP:UNDUE.
Please see WP:BRD and learn to use the talk page when others object to your newly-added content. Otherwise, you will end up getting blocked sooner or later. utcursch | talk 15:48, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
I'll just contact other admins and have you investigated. Thanks. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 15:49, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
Sure, you might find WP:ANI and WP:DRR useful. utcursch | talk 16:03, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
No problem I will. May I add another comment if you don't mind. From your edits it seems like you're attempting to portray India as a mighty developed great country where no problems exists and where the entire world's population is desperately wanting to flock to for job opportunities and a great lifestyle. My simple question to you would be, if all is well in India, why are you in Canada? If it's such a great place to be as I can deduce from your edit history, go live in India then. It's somewhat ironic how Indians love creating trouble on Wikipedia by purposely skewing information and deleting information from articles to paint a false image of the very country they seem to want to get as far as possible away from. Odd...yet comical. Good night. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 16:09, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
From your various accusations against admins and the likes of me who revert you, it seems that you are adopting a Pakistani nationalist position whereby you accuse others of being pro-India and thus anti-Pakistan. You're wrong but, of more concern, is that your stance is a very quick way to getting an indefinite block. You have to assume good faith - the people you are criticising have been here for years and, believe me, any nationalism on their part would have been detected a long time ago. - ~~ re-signing. - Sitush (talk) 05:47, 26 July 2017 (UTC)

History templates

Thanks for the history templates covering Pakistani provinces. Could you do the same for the histories of Balochistan and Kashmir? Mar4d (talk) 13:01, 7 August 2017 (UTC)

@Mard4d: Yup, that's what I'll be planning for today. Just needed to do some research before writing it. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 13:38, 7 August 2017 (UTC)
Thanks. Talking about history, a long time back, I created List of Pashtun empires and dynasties. It has been expanded and updated by volunteer editors. I think we could create similar lists for Punjabi, Sindhi and Baloch dynasties, and it would be very informative for readers. Mar4d (talk) 18:10, 7 August 2017 (UTC)
I've created the History of Balochistan template and will work next on GB and Kashmir. As for the dynasties, yes it's possible for Sindhi and Punjabi, but for Baloch and the regions of say Hunza, Nagar etc., there isn't much documentation or sources to go by. I had a very hard time getting information for the Balochistan template. However, I am interested in working with a group and getting that started. But before the dynasties, I was thinking about cleaning up the History of Pakistan article (I actually already started). If we get that article in order, it can serve as a starting point for all other history articles (for example Sindhi dynasties). Prior to editing the History of Pakistan template, I wasn't even aware of Sindhi dynasties. Editing it sort of forced me to learn, and as such can help in expanding other historical articles and templates related to Pakistani history. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 18:21, 7 August 2017 (UTC)
Furthermore, I have a question. There are two articles related to History of Pakistan. One is the actual History of Pakistan which covers everything up to 1947. The other is the History of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan which covers the entire political history from 1947 (1956 actually) to present time. The last section of History of Pakistan is essentially a copy and paste of History of IRP. Is it possible to simply delete that whole section, or to possibly shorten it? Seems pointless to have the same thing written on both.--PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 18:23, 7 August 2017 (UTC)
I wouldn't delete the section. Because History of Pakistan is the parent article, so it should be able to summarise the post-1947 events as well as pre-1947 history. But the section can be rewritten if it too closely matches the sub-article. Mar4d (talk) 05:54, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. regentspark (comment) 01:56, 9 August 2017 (UTC)

regentspark I'd be more than happy to have a discussion with that user. Unfortunately he's using several user IDs and is beyond stubborn. He makes reverts based on his own bias. How exactly am I supposed to message his or her talk page? Go and see the edit wars he's currently doing on Ror dynasty, Soanian, Riwat, Gandhara grave culture, History of Sindh and Gandhara. If anything him (or her) user IDs should be blocked for using several different IDs. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 02:08, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
Please tell me how I'm suppose to contact this user when each time he (or she) makes an edit, they change there user id name. They are using several different user ids and making deconstructive edits. If anything, I'd like to report all of his (or her) USER IDs to the admins and have them all banned. If you could direct me as to how to do this, I'd be more than happy to report it myself, since others don't seem to care about fake IDs. You should use the article talk page to initiate the discussion whether the edit warring involves an IP or a registered user.--regentspark (comment) 02:15, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
@PAKHIGHWAY: You need to calm down. I can see that you are frustrated, but edit warring is a no-no. Escalating an already contentious dispute is neither good for you or the encyclopedia. I suggest you take a break from editing for a while, if that makes you feel better. Please stay calm and avoid remarks conjecturing anyone's nationality or beliefs, irrespective of what the content dispute is over. The WP:ARBIPA sanctions are clear on this, and it's a dead end so please take heed lest it end with a WP:BLOCK. You have good potential and can channel this energy into positive, constructive contributions. It would be a shame if it ended any other way. So please, once again, stay calm, take advice from the experienced users and keep engaged in discussion. Mar4d (talk) 15:28, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
@Mar4d: I'm trying to stay calm, I've decided to stop editing and concentrate on History of Pakistan article. But how can anyone stay calm when some of them refuse to answer my queries and make unwarranted edits? I specifically asked regentspark as to why the Gandhara topic was locked on a ridiculous edit made by a sock puppet account and he refused to answer. From my personal Wiki experience (I've been editing longer than I've had an account), I wouldn't be one bit surprised if all these sock puppet accounts were being controlled by a few editors. Anyhow I'll heed to your suggestions and keep clear, however, my grievances are not exactly haram. Sure I do blow up sometimes, but the essence of my dispute isn't wrong. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 14:23, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
Sorry. I replied to your comment about the version that was protected but not about why the article was protected. The article was protected because of edit warring on the part of an IP and you (the reason is included in the edit summary attached to the protection edit, you should be able to see that by clicking on the history tab). Article protection is the normal course of action (along with blocks) when there is edit warring. If you suspect someone of sock puppetry, please file a report at WP:SPI and not merely throw those accusations around on talk pages. I suggest a quick read of WP:AGF. Best wishes. --regentspark (comment) 14:33, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
@Mar4d: In fact if you wouldn't mind could you please look into the Gandhara article for yourself and see what can be done to resolve the issue. I've even started a talk discussion and none of the those who are threatening me with bans are willing to debate me. They seem to have this perception that Wikipedia belongs to their father. RegentsPark decided to lock the article which removed the Pashto translation. When I started a debate on the talk page, to nobody's surprise, not a single response. Clearly there is some agenda here. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 14:26, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

PAKHIGHWAY.... you are absolutely right... Sitush and his two IP accounts are sock puppets... They keep editing on Sindh, Lodhran, Jamali, Soanian, Sammaa Dynasty, Zardari... they are SO destructive.. I opened an investigation against them... but the moderator (his friend) deleted it... they all have IP accounts point to New York, New Jersey. WikiPolices (talk) 18:44, 9 August 2017 (UTC)

@WikiPolices: Could you please provide me with any evidence? I've had this suspicion for a while now. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 14:23, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

Lyrics?

Hi! What's your reason behind adding the lyrics on "Mere Rashke Qamar"? The lyrics are the copyrighted material, and it's good not to use them. I undid your previous addition, but you re-added without any explanation, why? See this ("Mere Rashke Qamar" by Junaid Asghar…original), which has been deleted due to not crediting the officials thus violating copyrights owned by Hi-Tech Music, however it was then re-added after requesting the officials. This I shared because the lyrics are still under copyright, and that's why, if you check out 2017 film version, they credited the real owners after they "procured the rights". I earlier also added lyrics on "Ab Khel Jamay Ga", but they were then removed. See WP:LYRICS and WP:NOTLYRICS. But I cannot say anything right now about "Ranjish Hi Sahi" and "Chupke Chupke Raat Din" (you have worked on that pages too). Also, I saw you said about "Qaumi Taranah", "This is a Urdu anthem in classical Urdu", what does this sentence mean there? Thanks! M. Billoo 22:15, 14 August 2017 (UTC)

I wasn't aware about lyrics, I'm still new to Wiki so if you want to delete them you can. As for Quami Tarana, there's this myth that its in Persian. This is wrong...it's written in classical Urdu which was spoken during the early days of Urdu in the Mughul Empire. Early Urdu was very Persianized in its hay day, but words like Nizam, Zameen, Manzil are all used in Urdu today. The claim that "only 1 Urdu word "ka" is present" in the anthem is a unfounded claim and ironically this was written way back in 2005 on this very article. The myth literally originated from Wikipedia! It's one of those myths people just say for the sake of saying say. Unless we get an official explanation that this indeed is Persian from Government of Pakistan or the writer of the anthem (who I presume is dead by now), it should be removed. If you're an Urdu literature student you would understand in a heartbeat. This is like saying early English is Latin...which it's not...it's early English or classical English. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 00:00, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

August 2017

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 1947 Jammu massacres.

Kautilya3 (talk) 11:50, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

@Kautliya3: That was quick. The fake IP hopper account you control seems to get away with causing havoc on Wikipedia, but that's okay because it fits your agenda? I'll get several other neutral admins to get involved and make sure the truth is written on that page. You empty threats are of no concern to me. When I ask for sources, I better get them, and I could careless who you are. You wreak of Hindutatva nationalism. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 11:54, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
I said Please refrain from drive-by tagging, check the sources that have been cited. There were three citations given in the article. Have you checked them? Which of them did you check and what did they say? -- Kautilya3 (talk) 12:51, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. Sitush (talk) 12:08, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

No comment on the content dispute, but @PAKHIGHWAY: Please take note, and know this will take you nowhere. Comments should be limited to the content/issue, not contributor. It is mistakes like these which invite sanctions and blocks. Please maintain calmness in the future or take a break from editing. We expect better from you. Regards, Mar4d (talk) 13:24, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
@Mar4d: I am very calm, I'm just baffled as to why I'm being targeted, while that "I love India so much but I'd rather live in America" IP hopper is causing a mess across all our articles? Never once have they warned him or threatened to block him, yet I'm threatened for simply asking for sources to dubious claims? Furthermore, who is Sitush and what does he have anything to do with this discussion? When I'm treated fairly, I treat others fairly. When others act like they're the father of Wikipedia, I'll do the same. And Sitush, mind your own business. You have nothing to do with this discussion. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 13:38, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
Your concerns about the IP, while valid, would be best dealt at WP:SPI, not here or elsewhere. Also, this is not about you, or any other user. It's about keeping our interactions WP:CIVIL and maintaining some decorum at a bare minimum. That means not making or taking anything personally. Please remain careful in the future and good luck with editing, Mar4d (talk) 14:57, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
@DrStrauss: I don't assume bad faith, it's just I'm sick and tired of the double standards of Indian editors. If you've looked at my edits, I tend to avoid confrontation. My problem is this gang of Indian wiki editors who are targeting me and my edits and resort to using IP hoppers rather than there own accounts to make those edits when they can't get there way, as to not get caught. After a while, you begin getting frustrated. I have no quarrels following Wiki policies and remaining civil. As I've mentioned, I usually get along fine with everyone, and in some cases have made a consensus with these troublesome Indians. In other cases I am baffled - for example look at the Gandahara article. The native Pashto translation was removed and replaced with Sanskrit by the very same IP hoppers these Indian editors control. I reverted it back, and they threatened me with "vandalism" within minutes. Then I opened a talk page to try and resolve the issue, and they refuse to even discuss the edit. I'm almost 99.9% sure this is not the way Wiki works, where a gang of editors can go around posting pseudohistory and then having IP hoppers run amok when they don't get there way. Something needs to be done about this. Look at the Gilgit Airport article which was also vandalized by this same group of IP hoppers. Is this acceptable behaviour? After a while, people start getting pissed off. I'm not here to cause problems, I'm here to contribute to the wealth of knowledge of Wikipedia. But, pseudohistory has no place at Wikipedia. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 14:44, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
@DrStrauss: However, I do understand where you and also Mar4d are coming from. I am only shooting myself in the foot when I go off, so I'll try in the future to remain more calm and civil. Sorry. --PAKHIGHWAY (talk) 14:49, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
I've got no view on the topic, I'm just an uninvolved page mover. Just thought I'd drop by, thank you for trying! DrStrauss talk 14:50, 19 August 2017 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 1947 Jammu massacres. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please note that it is highly disruptive to challenge verifiability of long-established content without good reason. Locomotives of Pakistan

Hello PAKHIGHWAY. Please see my latest note at Talk:Locomotives of Pakistan. If you are not happy with my changes then please feel free to make your own changes. I'm afraid I don't speak Urdu so I expect you have access to a lot more information than I do. Roberttherambler (talk) 19:55, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
