How did he

He was born into a Jewish family in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, his name is obviously German, and he helped to build the state Israel. But the article just states him as "Hungarian-born".

Is anyone else confused by this?

If so I'm probably not the only one wondering what he himself might have thought about his nationality. - Is there any information about that? "Hungarian-born" means that he was born in Transleithania, and nothing more. In Western Europe "nationality" is synonymous with "citizenship" or "subjecthood", not with "ethnicity". 89.64.70.7 (talk) 22:27, 2 September 2022 (UTC)

How is there a photo of Lichtenfeld from 2007?
