Speedy deletion nomination of John Babiiha

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on John Babiiha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://prabook.com/web/john.babiiha/1719476 For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  A S U K I T E   14:25, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Paul Carpenter. I noticed that you recently removed content from List of presidents of India without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Creating hoax articles causes harm in several ways, including the following. It runs the risk of misleading readers of the encyclopaedia. It wastes time of editors who have to clear up after you, who could instead have spent that time on more constructive work for the encyclopaedia. It casts doubt on your other editing. I have already seen one other edit of yours which replaced true information with false, and while it could have been an innocent mistake, the more of a history of vandalism and dishonesty you have, the less likely you are to be given the benefit of the doubt. I hope that, for all those reasons, you will decide not to vandalise Wikipedia again. JBW (talk) 12:11, 1 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of British Ivory Coast

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that British Ivory Coast, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 07:24, 10 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Vice President of Burkina Faso

edit

The article Vice President of Burkina Faso has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This may be a hoax: I cannot find any evidence there is a post named as vice president. Many of the entries duplicate those on List of prime ministers of Burkina Faso and List of heads of state of Burkina Faso, but none of the linked entries seem to characterise them as being vice presidents. The original contributor has been indefinitely blocked with a number of other hoaxes identified.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 11 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Vice President of Burkina Faso

edit

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Vice President of Burkina Faso, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
