Welcome!
|
April 2018
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Chamakeri has been reverted.
Your edit here to Chamakeri was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https:// village info . in/karnataka/belgaum/athni/chamakeri.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 22:54, 4 April 2018 (UTC)

Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information. For more information about the columns and categories, please consult the documentation and please get in touch on SuggestBot's talk page with any questions you might have.
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.

WP Spaceflight
Hey there, I see you signed up for WP Spaceflight! Let me know if you need help editing or ideas on what to work on. Kees08 (Talk) 23:05, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Kees08: Thanks! Could you look over my infobox edits on the Algol (rocket stage)?
- Sorry, I missed this. Pings do not work if you do not sign your post (which is weird, threw me off for awhile), so I did not get a ping.
- It is a little weird because the article is for a rocket stage, but then talks about a family of rocket stages. I think you would technically use this infobox in each section that defines a different version of the stage, so one for Algol I, Algol II, and Algol III. This would be because they all have different heights/weights (I think..). Then, if and when those sections are big enough they can be split off into their own article, those infoboxes can go with them. Also, the infobox should go at the top of the page, under any maintenence templates (if you were not putting it in sections like I just recommended). I made an edit to move it there, and showed how to use the convert template as well, which is typically in infoboxes. I did not do the height field so that you could try it. Let me know if that did not make sense, give me a ping if you need any help on it. Kees08 (Talk) 02:19, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
- Oh, whoops! I couldn't find the separate heights/weights for each variation, so I kept the infobox there. Thanks so much for telling me about the conversion template! ⇒ Lucie Person (talk) 00:27, 26 April 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 5
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nature Camp, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Instruction, Appalachian and National Forest (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:18, 5 May 2018 (UTC)

ArbCom 2018 election voter message
Hello, Lucie Person. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Captial Y
Editing the the "bicycle" parameter (or any other parameters) in the "Infobox station" template from "yes" to "Yes" (As you did on Clareview station, among others) doesn't have any effect on the wikipedia page viewed by the user. "Yes" is still shown on the template in the wikipedia page regardless of whether or not it is capitalized in the code. So, changing the capital doesn't matter.
As such, time spent on this type of edit is probably better spent elsewhere. - Vanstrat ((🗼)) 06:12, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
- @Vanstrat: Yes it does. As you can see, the 'y' is now shown as a capitalized Y. It did make a difference to the Wikipedia page. Sure, but why can't I make this change? My perfectionist side felt bothered. I do not often edit Wikipedia anymore, as now I just fix minor mistakes that I come across while using Wikipedia for information purposes. ⇒ Lucie Person (talk|contribs) 18:19, 30 November 2018 (UTC) ⇒ Lucie Person (talk|contribs) 18:20, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
