Speedy deletion nomination of Galician Nationalist Vanguard edit

Hello Charicaric,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Galician Nationalist Vanguard for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. DOCUMENTERROR 00:22, 4 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Internationalist Struggle edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Internationalist Struggle requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Proposed deletion of Los Muertos de Cristo edit

The article Los Muertos de Cristo has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. WWGB (talk) 11:35, 14 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia style edit

Thank you for your edits you the Galician Nationalist Bloc article. If like you to be more careful in editing. Your edits violate a number of parts of the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Yesterday I cleaned up the article to bring it in line with Wikipedia style, and today you have reintroduced a bunch of those errors. Please review the following, and fix your errors:

  • WP:ACRONYM: "an acronym should be worth out in need full the first time it is used on a page, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses" - the acronyms of Galician political parties will be unfamiliar to most readers, so it is not helpful to refer to the parties only by their acronyms. Don't force the reader to click through to learn the acronym.
  • WP:REPEATLINK: "Generally a link should appear only once in an article, but if helpful for the reader, a link may be repeated in invoices, tables...." So don't link the same thing repeatedly.
  • MOS:FOREIGN: The country is not called "Galiza" in English, but "Galicia". The Wikipedia article is Galicia (Spain). Please don't use the Galician spelling as it makes the article more difficult for English-speaking readers to understand. Use "Galiza" in the Galician language version of Wikipedia.

Thank you. Ground Zero | t 16:29, 14 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

If you are going to ignore Wikipedia style and make a mess for others to clean up, then maybe it is better if we just remove your edits until you are willing to try a bit harder.

Two more things for you to pay attention to:

  1. in English, months are capitalized -- June, July, August; not "june, july, august".
  2. we say something happened on a day, but in a month, i.e., the meeting took place "in October". If you know the day, then you can write that the meeting took place "on 3 October".

Ground Zero | t 21:55, 14 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I'm not going to clean up after you. Please edit according to Wikipedia style. If you won't, then I will remove your edits. Ground Zero | t 15:57, 19 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

El Noi del Sucre moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, El Noi del Sucre, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. czar 21:17, 6 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Let's reduce the environmental impact of the Wikimedia movement! edit

Hi Charicaric, please allow me to get in touch with you because you have stated sympathy with environmental causes on your user page. I would like to invite you to check out the Environmental impact project page on Meta, where I am trying to create some momentum to reduce the environmental impact of the Wikimedia movement. My first goal is to have all the Wikimedia servers run on renewable energy. Maybe you could show your support for this project as well? Thank you, --Gnom (talk) 15:28, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of United Left of Castilla-La Mancha edit

Hello, Charicaric. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, United Left of Castilla-La Mancha, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Your draft article, Draft:El Noi del Sucre edit

Hello, Charicaric. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "El Noi del Sucre".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Legacypac (talk) 19:47, 15 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
