File source problem with File:Nazrana sound.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Nazrana sound.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Shriya Saran upcoming films edit

Do you have a source claiming that she is NOT in Saguni or Hero, and IS in Nuvva Nena? The source that you added does not mention Nuvva Nena, and there is a source in the Upcoming projects section that mentions her being in Hero. BollyJeff || talk 13:25, 25 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

No need to get upset at me; you are the one changing the page. Yes I visited Saguni and she is listed there; maybe you should fix that too. Thank you for the source on Hero, I will change that in the text now, which you could have done instead of the leaving the article with conflicting information. Still your source does not mention Nevva Nena by name. I don't have time to search the web for new stuff. In fact WP:NFF says that you don't need to mention anything about a film until it has started filming. You see what happens when stuff gets added too early; it later needs to be removed. This is an Encyclopedia not a WP:Crystalball, so I may remove Nevva Nena unless a proper source is added. BollyJeff || talk 13:57, 25 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
Haha. See the edits that I made to polish the article after yours. That's one of the reasons. BollyJeff || talk 14:37, 25 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
Did you see that someone added Saguni right back in, with an invalid source no less? I hate how nothing stays static on WP, especially concerning future %^&*. BollyJeff || talk 12:59, 26 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Chandramukhi (character) edit

Hello! Nice page! If you plan to expand it further please do that. But you have a good chance to send something from this article as a nomination to WP:Did You Know. If you find a reference to add that her character was based on Meera or else that Vyjayanthimala refused to receive the filmfare. However i doubt the filmfare thing can go. It is already present on her article. But we can try. Remember to send in the nomination before 5 days of article creation. -Animeshkulkarni (talk) 08:52, 16 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Jhoola (film), and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://hadownloadfilms.com.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Invitation to wikiFeed edit

Hello Ason27,

I'm part of a team that is researching ways to help Wikipedia editors find interesting content to contribute to Wikipedia. More specifically, we are investigating whether content from news sources can be used to enhance Wikipedia editing. We have created a tool, called wikiFeed, that allows you to specify Twitter and/or RSS feeds from news sources that are interesting to you. wikiFeed then helps you make connections between those feeds and Wikipedia articles. We believe that using this tool may be a lot of fun, and may help you come up with some ideas on how to contribute to Wikipedia in ways that interest you. Please participate! To do so, complete this survey and follow this link to our website. Once you're there, click the "create an account" link to get started.

For more information about wikiFeed, visit our project page. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask via my talk page, or by email at wikifeedcc@gmail.com. We appreciate your time and hope you enjoy playing with wikiFeed!

Thanks for uploading File:Gali Gali Chor Hai.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Proposed deletion of Asha Nirasha edit

The article Asha Nirasha has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No claim of notability. It was never finished and there has not been significant media coverage on it.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Vazhkai 1949.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Vazhkai 1949.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Revathi into List of awards and nominations received by Revathi. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 00:35, 21 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

"Signed first" edit

Hi there, re: this edit, and your corresponding edit summary, "shriya was signed first so please dont change", we don't derive |starring= roles or order based on who was signed first. The instructions for that parameter can be found at Template:Infobox film. We use the film poster's billing block to derive starring roles and order, and if that's not available, (as is often the case in Indian cinema) we use onscreen credits, or some other authoritative source. Advice edit

Hi Ason, I know that you're frustrated with GOOD Morning, but it's important to remember that we should be able to keep a level head when editing. Really nothing that we're doing is so important that it's worth losing our cool. Getting mad and mocking another user's English skills, or trying to psychoanalyze them, or trying to figure out their biases isn't helpful. Please try to stay focused on discussing the specific problems, as a level-headed editor will always look better to an admin than an angry one. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. DannyS712 (talk) 17:48, 23 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Gungajumna sound.jpg edit

The file File:Gungajumna sound.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free album cover being used in a decorative manner in Gunga Jumna#Soundtrack. Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article, and the use of soundtrack album cover art in articles about films or TV programs is generally not allowed for this reason as explained in WP:FILMSCORE.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 03:36, 22 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
