moves to draft
Extended content
|
---|
Hey, AB. I've moved to draft Draft:Blazing Bagels and Draft:Yesler Hillclimb. I am very concerned about your continued inability to assess sources' support of notability when it comes to your local businesses, landmarks, etc. Not everything in Washington and Oregon is notable simply because local sources are covering it. I think you should leave these articles in draft until you've found three sources that support a claim to notability. And please, please indicate which three to make it easier for others to see what you're using to support the claim. It's not fair to make people look at 15 (or 80, or 100) sources to figure out what you are saying indicates notability. More is not better. We only need three. Please, please don't just keep adding more and more and more bare mentions. It doesn't help. It only makes life harder for other editors. Valereee (talk) 20:16, 6 February 2023 (UTC) |
Why are we collapsing this? Valereee (talk) 22:40, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- I very often collapse sections on this page. I mean no offense, truly. I don't really see the point in moving an article like Blazing Bagels to the draft space. If you feel the topic is not notable, then raise your concerns on the talk page, or add a notability or merge tag so others can weigh in. I hear your concerns and I appreciate what you're saying. We clearly have different interpretations of some of Wikipedia's rules and that's ok. ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:56, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- Why won't you just tell us which three sources convinced you? Why? Valereee (talk) 00:37, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

Refbombing
Extended content
|
---|
Hello, I've been seeing several complaints in recent AFDs for articles you have created or support that you are bombing them with low quality references. For example, Seattle Coffee Works has 82 (!) references which is probably 60 more than is needed. This causes undue hardship on editors who are examining these articles in a deletion discussion and I sincerely hope it is not an intentional move on your part as a way of keeping an article. But I've seen editors complain about the number of low quality sources and then gone on to say that you put in even MORE references after they complained about it so I'm not sure what to think. You are a very experienced editor and article creator and know a good, quality reference that provides SIGCOV from a citation to a listicle or blog. Please use some restraint with your articles and don't include every mention of a company or restaurant in an article, use some discretion and use a lower number of higher quality sources from here on out. Thank you for considering this comment. Liz Read! Talk! 05:50, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

I liked the series a lot, and have been really enjoying Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur too, and started watching Karma's World (I created the page for it a while back) today, and am really enjoying that too Historyday01 (talk) 13:54, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Historyday01 I noticed! I have a habit of creating redirects for shows to programming lists (and redirects of episodes to shows). I'm not familiar with the show but perhaps I'll tune in some time. Keep up the great work here! ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:04, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks! Yeah, its a pretty good show, but I only wish it was longer. Historyday01 (talk) 14:06, 17 February 2023 (UTC)

New Project: Edit Check The Editing team is beginning a project to help new editors of Wikipedia. It will help people identify some problems before they click "Publish changes". The first tool will encourage people to add references when they add new content. Please watch that page for more information. You can join a conference call on 3 March 2023 to learn more. |

Greeting from Calabria and help request for Vincenzo Ferrera and Draft:Dado Coletti
Dearest Jason, Best regards from Calabria, I am writing to greet you and know how you are, I am quite well for now, I have seen your contribution to that disaster that happened on the other side of my region, a wonderful and welcoming region, despite everything and not for some consciences. In any case, my good Jason, I ask for your precious help to resolve once and for all the situation of these two biographies, that of Dado Coletti which has been waiting to be published for months and that of renewing Vincenzo Ferrera. I know you are very active and I was wondering, in my little ignorance if you could help me with the case. While waiting to hear from you, I wish you a bright greeting and a good evening, from little Campora San Giovanni in Calabria. Luigi Salvatore Vadacchino (talk) 18:43, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
