If you dislike anything about my behavior, please point it out to me and I will try and fix it. I am not offended by constructive criticism and am in fact extremely grateful for it. Thanks :)

What matters in being loyal or just is that you do fulfil the charge, in a wine-feast that you do enjoy, in mourning that you do grieve, in serving parents that you do please them. To the glory of fulfilling the charge you can pick your own route; in serving parents, if you do please them they won't raise difficulties about how you did it; in the wine-feast, if you do enjoy you won't be finicky about the cups; in mourning, if you do grieve no one quibbles about the rite.

The rites are what the custom of the times has established. The genuine is the means by which we draw upon Heaven; it is spontaneous and irreplaceable. Therefore the sage, taking Heaven as his model, values the genuine and is untramelled by custom. The fool does the opposite; incapable of taking Heaven as his model he frets about man, ignorant of how to value the genuine he timidly lets himself be altered by custom, and so is an unsatisfied man. What a pity you were steeped so soon in man's artificialities, and are so late in hearing the greatest Way!

Zhuangzi, trans. A.C. Graham

Welcome and About Me edit

Hi, I'm Ain't, because that's my favorite word. I am part of the Satirocitan secret society, so I can't tell you anything about it. I can, however, tell you that I am a gradeschooler in a suburb of Philadelphia. For security resons, I want to mostly remain anonymous (I might have spelt that word wrong - I'm a horrible speller - edit it if I did).

Okay, then, you can see my stats:

Statistics edit

  • Name: Jeffrey Hodgson
  • Age: 10
  • Birthday: May 19th
  • Occupation: student and leader of secret society.
  • Location: Claremont Hill, Satirocity (its a, um, see the featured article).
  • Wikipedian since: May 2006

Featured Article edit

Micronations – sometimes also referred to as cybernations, fantasy countries, model countries, and new country projects – are entities that resemble independent nations or states, but which are unrecognized by them, and for the most part exist only on paper, on the Internet, or in the minds of their creators.

Micronations also differ from secession and self-determination movements in that they are largely viewed as being eccentric and ephemeral in nature, and are often created and maintained by a single person or family group.

Some micronations have managed to extend some of their operations into the physical world by issuing coins, flags, postage stamps, passports, medals and other items. Such trappings of "real" sovereign states are created as a way of seeking to legitimize the micronations that produce them.

The term "micronation" is a neologism originating in the 1990s to describe the many thousands of small, unrecognised state-like entities that have mostly arisen since that time. The term has since also come to be used retroactively to refer to earlier ephemeral unrecognised entities, some of which date as far back as the early 19th century.

The term "micropatrology" has been used to a limited extent since the 1970s to describe the study of both micronations and microstates. Micronational hobbyists sometimes refer to real sovereign nation-states as "macronations". read more

Kozeluch or Koželuh? edit

Apologies for running over your article, so to speak (created an article on Leopold Koželuh, itself mostly but not entirely a translation of m:de:Leopold Koželuh... and then found you'd created one on the same composer the day before and I'd forgotten to look. Mine had had a week-long gestation and I was not at all expecting one to also pop up so fast but that was all the more reason for me to check!) Which to merge to? I present an argument in yours that yours is the proper one to merge to, but it's become habit to use Czech spelling (e.g. in Jan Antonín Koželuh and m:de:Leopold Koželuh, and many many similar articles, even for other composers who changed their names on moving to other countries- even though Leopold Koželuh was but his second name of three he used at various points- Jan A Koželuh, Leopold Koželuh and Leopold Kozeluch!...) and I'm not convinced the reasons are very good here especially. Also, I'm not sure what the source is for your birth-year for him?

Thanks much (hope you don't mind my semi-mirroring/expanding on my comment there, here, also. It's about time, spelled however, that Kozeluch has an article, and the two should, no matter the resolution, be combined and then improved on.)

(Very parenthetically: A piano sonata of his will be on a radio station (Musiq3, out of Belgium) tomorrow, from Diane Andersen's recording on Talent. I don't have the CD and look forward to increasing my acquaintance with his music.) Schissel | Sound the Note! 01:46, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Youbou, British Columbia edit

Hi! Thanks for your useful additions to Wikipedia. However, in your article I found the following problems:

  1. Title of the article not in bold (i.e.: according to Wikipedia:Manual of Style, it should begin with "Youbou is a... etc. etc.")
  2. Lack of reference of what country we were speaking for. Doy you agree with me that a reader from Burkina Faso or Andorra could have some problem to identify a place when the only geographi reference to a state is in a footer? Don't forget to remember that Canadian things can be not obvious for not-Canadian users.

Bye.--Attilios 14:12, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Another remark. Please refrain from using expressions like "pretty", "bustling with", "one of the most beautiful", etc. They are generally considered out of the encyclopedical scope (what we call POV or NPOV) of Wikipedia. See WP:Manual of Style for reference, and check the corrections i've done to some of your articles. Bye! --Attilios 14:34, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:140.1-1-.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:140.1-1-.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:04, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
