What is the purpose of this page? I suggest it be deleted or changed substantially. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.245.22.164 (talk) 20:30, 26 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

The purpose is to be a list of notable kosher restaurants.
What changes would you propose? Debresser (talk) 17:25, 2 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
I moved the page to "notable" kosher restaurants. I think this should placate everyone. Sir Joseph (talk) 00:13, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
And I reverted the move. Per WP:LISTNAME: "Best practice is to avoid words like notable, famous, noted, prominent, etc. in the title of a list article." There is only one article in all of English Wikipedia titled "List of notable . . . " UnitedStatesian (talk) 13:37, 14 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
No, there isn't. Go to the search box and type, "List of notable" You'll see plenty of articles pop up. Sir Joseph (talk) 13:47, 14 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
All but one of those are all redirects, just like List of notable kosher restaurants is now. Use this link to get the list without redirects. UnitedStatesian (talk) 18:16, 14 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
So you are edit warring? Sir Joseph (talk) 18:26, 14 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Reverting: see WP:BRD. You were bold and moved the article (cool), I reverted (also cool), and now we are discussing (also cool). I think any subsequent moves would best follow the process at WP:Requested moves. UnitedStatesian (talk) 18:28, 14 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
There is no consensus for your revert. Your LIST guideline, is a guideline, as it says, common sense applies and exception applies. In this case, the article name, "List of Notable" makes more sense. Sir Joseph (talk) 18:31, 14 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
There was no consensus for your original move to the "notable" version. UnitedStatesian (talk) 15:37, 15 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
And I didn't need one. And you should know that. And you should also know that when reverting a page move it's best to seek consensus to do so and not to just revert. Sir Joseph (talk) 18:18, 15 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Sir Joseph Per WP:BOLD you were perfectly within your rights to make the move. But you are wrong regarding the revert. Discussion should definitely come after a revert, see WP:BRD, but there is no imperative to discuss before a revert. Debresser (talk) 16:48, 16 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
