Fair use rationale for Image:A.M.I.L.jpg edit

Image:A.M.I.L.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 04:50, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Amil (rapper)Amil – Primary topic https://tools.wmflabs.org/pageviews/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&start=2015-07&end=2019-09&pages=Amil_(rapper)%7CJabal_Amel%7CAmil_Niazi%7CAmil_Kumar_Das She is also the only mononymous Amil. 67.149.246.163 (talk) 03:13, 21 October 2019 (UTC)--Relisting. Tbsock (Tbhotch away) (talk) 17:24, 29 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Support per nom. Also, FWIW, Amil is currently classified as a name article, but should probably be classed as a disambiguation page. That leads to the question of whether the name itself (aside from any individuals having that name) might be primary over the rapper, or at least prevent her from being primary. But adding the basename to the pageviews analysis doesn't really change the picture. Colin M (talk) 21:07, 21 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose it's a name. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:11, 22 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
(A) this guy is barely notable, (B) how many Cher, Marx, Björk does one find in the newspapers? (C) Search GBooks and GNews for "Amil is" and (D) clearly WP:NOPRIMARY. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:35, 26 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
The pageview analysis provided suggests she probably is the primary topic (378 thousand- out of 433 thousand-odd views); have we any other notable Amils that should be included? Moonraker12 (talk) 10:44, 28 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per nom. Calidum 13:40, 5 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per nom. There is plenty of coverage on this woman as she did receive quite a bit of attention when she was active as a rapper in the late 90s and early 00s. Aoba47 (talk) 14:04, 5 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
