ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Riley Pint edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Riley Pint requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. —Largo Plazo (talk) 19:59, 8 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Zac Lowther edit

The article Zac Lowther has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Clearly does not pass WP:GNG or WP:BASE/N

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:42, 8 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of 2018 Major league baseball draft edit

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on 2018 Major league baseball draft requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 2018 Major League Baseball Draft edit

No teams forfeit first round picks for signing players that rejected qualifying offers. The Rockies do not lose their first round pick for signing Wade Davis. There was a change in the most recent collective bargaining agreement-it's more confusing now. Let me know if you have any questions about it. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 60th Annual Grammy Awards, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Charles Bradley (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:39, 30 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

April 2018 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Template:New England Patriots roster navbox, you may be blocked from editing. Do not make up numbers for players. The Patriots do that assignment, not you. Tarl N. (discuss) 04:00, 4 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

I note that this is a recurring issue, see last warning I issued to you. I have never seen a justification from you for the imaginary numbers you pull out of thin air. I don't know what the game is that some people want to be the ones to assign fake numbers to players, but at Wikipedia we strive for factual and documentable accuracy. Please stop your disruptive edits. Tarl N. (discuss) 04:03, 4 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Marquise Copeland moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Marquise Copeland, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Proposed deletion of Elgton Jenkins edit

The article Elgton Jenkins has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Your draft article, Draft:Marquise Copeland edit

Hello, Pileoswag27163. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Marquise Copeland".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 23:46, 27 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Nick Banks (baseball) edit

The article Nick Banks (baseball) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:NSPORT, not enough in-depth coverage outside routine sports coverage.
