Hi - You have 4 or 5 photos on the wikipedia page for Menston in Yorkshire. Under the Creative Commons License I believe it is OK for me to use them on my website - www.menstonlive.co.uk but it is unclear as to what attribution you would like made for each photo? I can use your wikipedia name (Mtaylor848) in the titles if that is OK? Please let me know what you require. Thanks Don Donster222 (talk) 10:55, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Articles for deletion nomination of Tom Woolard

I have nominated Tom Woolard, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tom Woolard. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Tetley's Bitter and brewery demerger

It has been proposed on the talk page for Tetley's that we demerge the page so the brewery can be a buildings based article (mainly of local interest) and the brand can be looked at from a business and marketing perspective. As the Carlsberg UK have proposed closing the brewery then the articles are in some need of a split. As we are all busy in 'real life' this has been delayed. As you have edited many brewery related articles, I thought I'd bring you in on the loop before I made a move to split the articles once again into Tetley's Bitter and Tetley's brewery. Incidentaly, a page has been made on Joshua Tetley which would also benefit from extra detail.

Cheers, Mtaylor848 (talk) 18:10, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

Yes, I agree that there is enough material on Tetley's Bitter, especially regarding the move of the beer out of Yorkshire, to justify a standalone article per WP:PRODUCT. I have a few things to do which are overdue, when I have addressed those I will give a hand sorting out the articles - I have a number of decent sources. SilkTork *YES! 09:22, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Your edit to Ed Balls

Your edit to Ed Balls appears to have been vandalism with a misleading edit summary. Please refrain from such disruptive behaviour. PamD (talk) 16:18, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Nottingham High School

I have reverted reverted the reversion of your edits. Your edits appear to have been done with great reflection, and each one done individualy with correct edit summaries. I can't stay neutral on this because I would probably have done the same edits as you did and even more. However, now that I have reinstated the one-stroke revert of your work, I think there should be some discussion on the talk page before we go much further.--Kudpung (talk) 13:52, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Mtaylor848! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 944 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 06:12, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Brookside characters

You're creating a lot of articles which have a reference that only states "ISBN 1-86200-103-0". (e.g. Frank Rogers (Brookside)). I can't find any book with that ISBN number (see [1] or [2]). Could you check your source. It would also help if you included the title and author of the book. Thanks. Tassedethe (talk) 10:22, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the info. Strange that it has this ISBN. I can find the book, or a v. similar book, on Amazon [3] and WorldCat [4] with a different number number, ISBN 1842227645. Happy editing. Tassedethe (talk) 13:17, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Harmen

Hi, I totally agree with your comments, the subject is basically under attack by a few editors that hold strong opinions against her. Their contributions are simply designed to attack her, its awful and I have removed the attacks on more than one occasion and they come back and stuff it in , awful. If a few neutral editors are around we can work to improve the article. Lots of Men seem to hate the fact that she is a feminist and the tories hate her and the NPOV editors simply walk aawy. Knowsley Road photographs

Unfortunately, I didn't quite understand what you were talking about at first until I put in "Knowsley Road". Unfortunately, I have never been to England or even to Knowsley Road Stadium. The only way I could help is with player profile's/biographies with reliable sources. Hope you do get someone who is willing to help you with your photographs. Anything about Rugby League in England just ask. Adamdaley (talk) 23:58, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, ditto seeing as I'm in Australia. If you're willing to pay for airfares, accommodation, tickets to the game and my normal pay to make up for having to take leave without pay from work, I might be able to take some photos.
I'd suggest next time you want to blanket people's talk pages, check that they're actually in a position to potentially do as you ask. Or go to the talk page for an appropriate WikiProject(s) that oversee the article in question. I don't know about anyone else, but this sort of stuff seems worse than just spam to me.  Afaber012  (talk)  08:08, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
Ditto, there seems to be no particular reason to send it to me other than the fact I've edited an RL page. I've never been to KR, and I never will Brooza (talk) 10:56, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

FYI

Please replace my comment and don't touch my comments in future, add your signature but do not touch my comment. Off2riorob (talk) 16:06, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

For the record the comment was not yours, it was mine. I had neglected to sign it properly but had realised this and intended to sign it. Upon editing the edit came up as a conflict and as I had not intended to leave it unsigned, and had only done so for a matter of a couple of minutes I placed my signature after the comment. Mtaylor848 (talk) 16:10, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

If you comment on my talkpage at least do it in your own section, do not touch or delete my comments on the wikipedia, add your own but do not delete mine. Thanks.. Off2riorob (talk) 16:14, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Also, you have got over a 400 000 byte talkpage would you like me to help you archive it? many users are not on broadband and it is excessively big and is really in need of archiving. Off2riorob (talk) 16:20, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Trivial argument

I am continuing this trivial argument no longer, however it surprises me that you take such exception to a minor addition of yours being moved through an edit conflict and being replaced by something that equated to the same. I merely did not want my comment to look as if I had intended to mask my identity as it would have done, and I didn't think that the fact your edit had been processed first gave you a monopoly to making additions to my comments. Regards, Mtaylor848 (talk) 16:18, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Archive bot

Hi, I have added an archive bot for you same as mine, hopefully the bot will come round and archive some of the page, its set to archive anything older than 14 days and archive page size up th e250 currently that is about half of your page, so lets see what the bots does ,I will keep my eye out for it and see if it starts working. It is set to remove anything older than two weeks and to leave a min of four posts, same as mine only I remove posts older than one day and that is high so yours is a two weeks, better for you I think, ask me any issues, I will as I say watch to see if it comes around, ok? Off2riorob (talk) 16:53, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Update, hi. Bot has not come round yet, I usually give him 24 hours and if he doesn't show up I will ask a specialist to check it, so we will see tomorrow, regards, Off2riorob (talk) 21:58, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Off2riorob asked for help ... I re-implemented auto-archiving based on my own talk page taste with years. Hopeyou like it, once the bot has run. --Kslotte (talk) 12:33, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
The auot archive bot did run, but not correctly archived. I did some clean-up afterwards. --Kslotte (talk) 19:09, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Sinbad Sweeney. Since you had some involvement with the Sinbad Sweeney redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so). Bridgeplayer (talk) 19:16, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

English

Hi, I noticed that you were changing the spelling in many articles from American English-like varieties to British English. However, the manual of style says that the variety in which the article was created or spelling differentiation first introduced (which in these cases were American English) should be retained, and only changed if there are strong national ties to the new variety: while you could make a case for British English in the European articles, the articles about China, Colombia, and Venezuela are far less ambiguous. If you are changing the spelling in accordance with the manual of style, please use edit summaries to make your reasoning clear; otherwise, please stop. Quigley (talk) 16:04, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Minor edits

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. --John (talk) 18:49, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

November 2010

In a recent edit to the page Madagascar, you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you.   — Jeff G.  ツ 06:05, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

The article List of out-of-town shopping centres in the United Kingdom has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Three years is more than enough to source an article.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Divebomb is not British 19:40, 26 November 2010 (UTC)

Nomination of List of out-of-town shopping centres in the United Kingdom for deletion

A discussion has begun about whether the article List of out-of-town shopping centres in the United Kingdom, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of out-of-town shopping centres in the United Kingdom until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. --Divebomb is not British 19:51, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
