Singapore artiste BLP layout edit
Hi there, per the RFC on filmography table for Singapore artistes BLPs and other longstanding BLP formats for other artistes in English Wikipedia, please do not introduce the format commonly found in Chinese Wikipedia into English Wikipedia. Why? Does original format against Wikipedia RULES. Original format is follow Wikipedia format and no Chinese or English different. If Yes then is like racial, I created a few articles doesn't have this problem just you don't like like it you change it. But why before this You don't create this article? People you many day and week write this article st last you are not adding info, you change people format. Same if you create an article people change your format how you feel? I asked Wikipedia they said editor can add info that are not complete, edit grammar but not change format. Because Wikipedia don't have fix format for all tables so you cannot said your is correct unless like infoboxes have fixed format nobody can change even they don't like the format. - Reinforcing what JASWE said, the RfC on the filmography tables is binding to the BLP pages listed in the RfC and also the pages in the Category:Singaporean actors and its subcategories as stated in the RfC, which means there is a specific formatting rules based on reasonings for these pages, thus also potentially overriding the wider Wikipedia guidelines.
- Also, this is not your first time trying to import zh.wiki sensibilities into en.wiki. Case in point, Draft:The Celebrity Agency. It just doesn't work. For TCA, what it lacks is clearly the references to support the notability of the subject.
- There are different standards and norms in the different communities. Just like when I venture into zh.wiki to establish new articles by translating the articles here into Chinese, I suggest getting to know more about the differences first, and listen to and look at what established editors in the community advice and do before getting combative between editors. – robertsky (talk) 00:57, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
- Firstly, understand that Chinese Wikipedia and English Wikipedia have different sets of rules and formats. Please respect the rules and format for each Wikipedia. As said, the format for Singaporean Artistes BLP has been semi-formalised through a RFC. While not as defining as a Wikipedia Policy, it is still a consensus formed by community.
- Secondly, casting aspersions of racism is not helping your cause. This is not racism, this is simply asking you not to copy directly from another Wikipedia to English Wikipedia. You also assumed my race and nationality (which is indicated in my user page) and failed to deal with the issue as an content issue.
- Thirdly, there are many articles which do not exist in Wikipedia so if Zhang Ze Tong's article was not created previously, the onus is not on me or any other English Wikipedia editors. You created the article, well done! You had translated it from the Chinese Wikipedia and had a lot of translation errors. So fixing your errors is not helping to add information and adding a reference is not adding information?
- Fourthly, you said "I asked Wikipedia they said editor can add info that are not complete, edit grammar but not change format.". Who said format cannot be changed? Format changes are occurring all the times especially if the format is wrong.

There seems to be WP:CIR problem here, as your actions are completely unacceptable to Wikipedia.
