August 2020 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Nikita Gill has been reverted.
Your edit here to Nikita Gill was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvElbCv47nw) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Disambiguation link notification for September 2 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Angelita Castro-Kelly, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Isabela. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Haven Coleman moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Haven Coleman, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Marisa Peer edit

Thanks for email. I'm not sure what you are asking me. I looked at your deleted contributions, and none, as far as I can see, were deleted by me. I also can't see where you have a draft for Lavanya Sakaranya. Perhaps I've missed something, if so please let me have the relevant links.

Although there is a gender imbalance on Wikipedia, that doesn't mean our guidelines can be ignored.

  • When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources.

I looked at Janina Scarlet, which appears to rely heavily on unsuitable sources, such as LinkIn, Goodreads, and pages written by her, such as her institutional profiles, rather than genuinely independent sources. It's OK, but could be improved. Her claims about Chernobyl, for example, are sourced to her own writing and an interview with her, so there is no independent confirmation about She was poisoned and suffered from severe migraines and seizures. Anti-semitism was also at its height, and her family was massively harassed.. It may be true, but self-reporting doesn't confirm that. Did you look, for example to see whether the Ukrainian government accepts these claims?

You might want to look at my Pamela C. Rasmussen and my work-in-progress Emma Louisa Turner to give you an idea of referencing and layout. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:32, 21 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Thanks for the response. Yeah gender doesnt just exempt someone from rules, although thats not really the point. I have not published the draft for Lavanya Sakaranya, but I thought of messaging you first since I was notified to do so. I might find someone else more notable. As for Janina's poisoining experience during the Chernobyl disaster, Ill replace it with a secondary source since I also used a primary one where she was interviewed for Yahoo news. As for the antisemitism during that time period, Ill research whether there is truth to it. Thank you for your corrections and thanks for the information! Also thanks for the great examples! Will keep in mind. Have a great day ahead! 🙂 FlosRomanus (talk) 10:07, 23 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Kira Ayn Varszegi edit

The article Kira Ayn Varszegi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is hardly any significant coverage of the article's subject in reliable sources. A brief online search for sources within reason doesn't seem to reveal any additional source material. The best source would be the Korean Times source from 2010, and it doesn't indicate notability. Therefore, I doubt that the subject is notable per WP:GNG. Best regards, --Johannes (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 02:13, 2 July 2022 (UTC)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 3 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
