Species level is the lowest taxonomic level where we will create an article for every taxon. Below that, we fall back to considering notability, and most subspecies just are not notable. - UtherSRG (talk) 17:28, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

We once had 2 pages on subspecies, but decided to blank + redirect them to the main page some time last year, as they both contained essentially the same text as the main page. – BhagyaMani (talk) 18:58, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
