Place of birth edit

I believe Jeff was born in St. Paul Minnesota (according to several other sources). Can this be confirmed? Bradthorson 01:33, 23 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Jeff Monson grew up in olympia, wa and graduated from Timberline High School in 1989. Not minnesota. He also went to a private school until 8th grade, Holy Family. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.118.122.147 (talk) 07:11, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Politics edit

Jeff is more of a socialist than an anarchist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.247.68.66 (talk) 04:04, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Jeff has declared himself to be an anarchist time and time again (his style of anarchism, from what I've read, is however essentially the same as libertarian socialism). It seems he prefers the term anarchist, and he is certainly an inspiration to many anarchists all over. A great athlete as well. 70.15.1.135 (talk) 14:04, 17 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
And then there are all the explicitly anarchist tats... 24.47.151.201 (talk) 05:06, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
This shouldn't be controversial at all. There are citations in the article to Jeff calling himself an anarchist. Murderbike (talk) 06:08, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Anarchists are socialists. It's explained rather well in the Anarchist FAQ. 87.194.128.254 (talk) 19:26, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
As is ignored in teh Anarchist FAQ, not all anarchists consider themselves socialist. See Individualist anarchism or Anarcho-primitivism. Murderbike (talk) 18:50, 5 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

lol, everyone knows that Jeff is the anarcho-communist, but you Americans are still profess McCarthyism and afraid of everything connected with Communism! 91.194.56.131 (talk) 11:24, 28 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

wins edit

Jeff told me just this past Monday that his win record is 28, not 26. I'm not in a position to confirm this, but i hope that someone will check it out. Richard Myers (talk) 02:58, 13 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Responding to my own query, it occurs to me that Jeff is adding his two boxing wins to his MMA record to get 28. But note, the text doesn't match the chart in the article, the chart has just been changed to 26 while the text still says 25. I'll let someone who knows more about MMA make the correction. Richard Myers (talk) 20:07, 13 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
He has "only" 26 MMA wins (see sherdog), so I'm guessing as you say he included his boxing wins when saying 28. The text in the article saying 25 just wasn't updated. --aktsu (t / c) 13:22, 14 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Record Update edit

I'm going to spend a few days working on this page's MMA record to reflect the layout being used by the MMA Wiki Project. The MMA record box and style itself is fine, but there are a few layout changes in the record that I'm going to change. (Example: Georges St. Pierre) Unfortunately this will take a few days as I re-enter everything that's in his record at the moment into the new layout. Dachknanddarice (TC) 15:47, 25 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'm surprised it only took me so short an amount of time, but it's done. Dachknanddarice (TC) 19:55, 25 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
