List of current MMA champions edit

Thank you for your contributions, and for the very reasonable way that you both included them and removed them. I wish that JEWELS' titles were defensible belts, it would be nice to have more representation of women in MMA. I hope you continue to contribute to and help maintain this article. Almost all content is up for debate, so if you feel the need to make a strong case for any other MMA organizations, feel free to do so. I have outlined some basic baseline marks that I would like all added organizations to meet in the talk section of the article, but those are still fairly liberal guidelines and there are a lot of MMA organizations just on the fringe of making the list. Thanks again for you interest. Thaddeus Venture (talk) 22:07, 25 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Brief not on your rewrite of the women's mma titles section. Using terms like "we'll" or "I", or other terms indicative of a narrator should be avoided as they compromise the general objectivity of the article.Thaddeus Venture (talk) 04:32, 25 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • I found an appropriate source for M-1 Global as a Dutch organization. The first and foremost address listed for the Company on it's website is in the Netherlands, that's good enough for me.Thaddeus Venture (talk) 17:51, 25 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

ShoMMA edit

Just got your note and replied to the discussion. Thanks! I do think individual pages are in order at this point and agree with your suggestion of using "Strikeforce Challengers" for the events. Udar55 (talk) 23:38, 5 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

No problem. I appreciate your comments on there too. I will definitely be open to collaborating on the pages and agree they should fit into the chronology a la the smaller UFC events between PPVs. Udar55 (talk) 17:57, 7 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

ShoMMA edits edit

Hi. The original MMAJunkie.com source had it as a heavyweight bout. Next time you see that it has been announced at strikeforce.com, please change the source, as this is often the official source most scheduled mma events reference.(Justinsane15 (talk) 17:18, 7 March 2011 (UTC))Reply

No prob, take care.(Justinsane15 (talk) 17:27, 7 March 2011 (UTC))Reply
Hey! I did a template for the first Strikeforce Challengers show. Let me know what you think of it. I kept the name Strikeforce Challengers: Evangelista vs. Aina to be consistent with the Strikeforce events template. If you think this method is fine, we can divvy up the events and proceed from there. It actually didn't take long at all. Udar55 (talk) 20:40, 9 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for checking it out. I actually thought about the chronology but left it blank until we get all these done. I made this handy ShoMMA chart with each new sub-page listed in it. Once we get them filled in, I reckon we can blank the ShoMMA page except for the intro and that chart. I'll jump on a few of them now. Udar55 (talk) 01:35, 10 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Your idea sounds good. I've gotten up to no. 3 and will keep going up to 8 tonight. Been correcting errors and stuff too. Udar55 (talk) 01:51, 10 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
I actually got ahead of myself and did all 15! I couldn't stand the thought of knowing there would be a red link in that chart. So they are all done. I have also reformatted the Strikeforce events table and chart that appears at the bottom of the page. Now comes the big challenge of adjusting the links on fighter pages and doing the chronological stuff. Udar55 (talk) 02:52, 10 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Help:Reverting edit

You may want to read Help:Reverting to learn how to undo multiple edits, which will help in cases such as Pat Miletich's article recently. —LOL T/C 17:28, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I appreciate the help. I had no idea how to do that. Thanks a bunch. Dachknanddarice (TC) 17:36, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Brock Lesnar edit

It's no problem. That was ridiculous. There's absolutely no reason a BLP article should have that lengthy of a Protection log and it not be already indefinitely semi-protected. I had to speak for that. ⒺⓋⒾⓁⒼⓄⒽⒶⓃ 20:14, 21 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Cruz/Faber II edit

Jon Jones edit

In reference to your comments about Jon Jones' Kickboxing Title. He did win the Kickboxing title in an MMA bout. It was against Moyses Gabin. My guess is that it was an MMA belt awarded by a kickboxing association through that fighting organization. But it was officially announced during the match, although it probably is unreferencable outside the video of that match.Thaddeus Venture (talk) 16:29, 31 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Gegard edit

I see that you removed the flags next to the names of the fighters on Gegard Mousasi's fight record. Why?--Moosh88 (talk) 03:46, 10 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I posted my 2 cents on the issue. And I can see that it's another pointless discussion about 'well these are what this rule states so...' Sometimes its hard to be an editor on wikipedia, I guess that's why there is such a thing as a wiki break. :)--Moosh88 (talk) 02:04, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Naming guideline edit

Hey Dachknanaddarice, in you case you're not aware of it, Wikipedia guidelines state that we should refer to people by their last names after the first time we use their whole name. So for instance we would refer to him as "Bisping" and not "Michael" throughout the article. You can read about this at WP:SURNAME. SQGibbon (talk) 19:25, 14 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I was not aware of this, but I'll revert my changes if it hasn't been done yet. Dachknanddarice (TC) 19:29, 14 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
