    • Is it just me, or did anyone else ever notice that Fred Dryer almost NEVER wore underwear in his tv series "Hunter"? I mean it was pretty noticable...and QUITE impressive. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.202.172.104 (talk) 18:31, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Drafted by Giants edit

The article indicates that Dryer was drafted by the Giants in 1969, but makes no mention of how he was not drafted circa 1968 when many, many young men were drafted out of law school and grad school. Because the Vietnam War was the overwhelmingly important issue for healthy young males in that era, the article should include material on this for Dryer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.49.27.38 (talk) 01:13, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

A more interesting question would be how such a good athlete managed to avoid being drafted and sent to Vietnam along with the millions of others. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.152.216.213 (talk) 22:57, 30 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
