First-class debut
editThe Times articles I've seen suggest that one of his matches in 1886 for Somerset was v MCC - wouldn't this count as first-class? David Underdown (talk) 17:30, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- This match. Somerset weren't a first-class county at the time, so their matches similarly weren't considered first-class, even when they were playing first-class opposition. Harrias (talk) 18:35, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
