Draft article awaiting review for director/writer Misha Manson-Smith

edit

I have a draft biography pending review for director/writer Misha Manson-Smith. It has yet to be reviewed after some weeks. Seeking feedback to progress it getting published. Intending to link it to a new article on "hybrid comedy" which is a niche but specific sub genre as performed by the likes of Sacha Baron Cohen, Nathan Fielder, Marc Wootton and Eric Andre, in which actors play fictional characters interacting with unsuspecting people in documentary like situations. Manson-Smith has directed a number of works in this field, some for the BBC, such as High Spirits With Shirley Ghostman. Manson-Smith has also directed a number of other BBC dramas and comedies including Ordinary Lies, Excluded, Pramface, Dancing On The Edge, Stanley Park.

On the help chat, I was advised to post here, along with the key citations that demonstrate notability. Links below. Any feedback would be most helpful.

Rudford and Highleadon

edit

Would someone mind taking a look at Rudford and Highleadon and assessing it? It's a newly created single-source stub, but might still meet WP:NPLACE. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:52, 23 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Clearly meets WP:NPLACE as it is verifiably a legally recognised place, a civil parish. I've added a 2nd ref, to its parish council. PamD 22:25, 23 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you PamD. Would you mind also taking a quick look at Warmley Rural District, Tetbury Rural District, Stroud Rural District, Sodbury Rural District, Northleach Rural District, Newent Rural District, Cirencester Rural District and Cheltenham Rural District if you have the time? -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:36, 23 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Marchjuly Sorry, I'm not interested enough in former rural districts or Gloucestershire to work on them all, but Warmley needs, at least:
  • bolded title in lead
  • Geog context in lead (ie "Gloucestershire, England")
  • proper ref rather than bare URL for "The English Non-metropolitan Districts (Definition) Order 1972"
  • better ref for the Vision of Britain source, with access-date too
  • coords
  • Short description
  • talk page with Gloucestershire Wikiproject banner
  • Remove unnecessary "The" at start of lead (I think, not 100% certain of usage)
  • And preferably a bit of content describing what area it covered, with a link to connect it to Warmley.
It might be worth asking on the talk page of that Gloucestershire wikiproject whether someone might care to upgrade them? PamD 23:07, 23 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Also, articles must be in categories, I've added some. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 23:16, 23 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you PamD and Redrose64. I've added a {{Please see}} for this discussion to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Gloucestershire. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:16, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
