Image copyright problem with Image:Juan maldonado2.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Juan maldonado2.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:10, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image permission problem with Image:Juan maldonado2.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Juan maldonado2.jpg I noticed that that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I've also tagged all of your images on commons, please refrain from uploading copyrighted images in the future or you might be blocked from editing, cheers! BanRay 16:08, 13 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fluminense Football Club squad template edit

Hi, do you mind if I revert your change to Template:Fluminense_Football_Club_squad? My reason is that there's really no need to have the club's colours there. This is Wikipedia, and I think we should stick to the current aesthetics as much as possible. What would happen if everybody decided to colour different articles in characteristic ways? An online carnival? :-) Regards, Pedrovsky (talk) 16:36, 8 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Santos FC squad numbers edit

Hi, would you mind telling me why you deleted all the squad numbers? They were correct, as I had seen them on the São Paulo - Santos match from last week, and I don't understand why they should be removed. You are now a Reviewer edit

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:47, 17 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Vitor Saba edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Vitor Saba, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Victor Saba. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 14:36, 26 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

FYI edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Victor Saba a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. When asking for a history-merge edit

  • When you want an admin to history-merge article B into article A, the template call {{db-histmerge|B}} should be put in the start of article A, not in its talk page. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:36, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not create any more templates for single-season all league teams such as Template:2012-13 NBB All-Team. We do not even create templates for the yearly All-NBA teams. I will be proposing these for deletion and ask that you not create any others. Invite to the African Destubathon edit

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Clube de Regatas do Flamengo Youth Teams edit

Hello, Xguilex. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Clube de Regatas do Flamengo Youth Teams".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 07:57, 16 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

WP:FOOTY/Players edit

Can you please stop updating players related to Brazilian football in a wrong manner?

Read WP:FOOTY/Players: Per this talk page discussion, Brazilian teams should list state and national league appearances and goals in the infobox. and per this talk page discussion, a column named "State League" can be added to players who appeared in Brazilian football;. This applies to all players who appeared or are appearing in Brazilian football.

Ah, and please reply to my message. It's annoying to send someone a message when they don't even bother to reply. Besides the nuisance, it's in the guidelines: you must interact to people when they're interacting to you. MYS77 04:40, 21 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

South American Team of the Year moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, South American Team of the Year, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Currently, the single source is not reliable, and there is not enough in-depth coverage to show it passes WP:GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
