Manned vs crewed

Hey there, I get that you prefer manned over crewed in both Apollo 9 and Apollo 13, but as I posted in my edit summary, an RfC concluded "Manned" should be avoided where possible, with the exception to this being proper names (e.g. Manned Spaceflight Center).

If you would like to have the consensus reevaluated, please post a new RfC at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style.

May 2020

Hi Wiscipidier! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Bryan Walters that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia — it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wiscipidier, to clarify, I don't think that you are deliberately editing while logged out in order to hide your identity, since you usually sign your username beside your IP number. The policy on multiple accounts doesn't prohibit editing while logged out per se. However, you have received numerous warnings on your IP talk page (many of which you have removed). Because of this, editing while logged out could still be seen as avoiding scrutiny, or contravening other parts of the policy. I would advise you that it would probably be in your own interest to avoid further editing while logged out.

Also, given the number of warnings on that page - at least a dozen for unsourced edits, and quite a few others for various other types of disruptive editing - please consider this your "final warning" about adding unsourced content, especially to biographies of living persons, and about editing other peoples' talk page comments; although you are permitted to completely remove others' comments from your own talk page, including the IP talk page, you may not edit or alter what others have written. This includes even making small changes like spelling corrections, or - as you have done just now with the one I left above - altering user warning templates (I have restored it). Misplaced query in Milwaukee

Questions about articles' content should be asked on the talk page of the articles; in this case, a question like that would be asked at Talk:Milwaukee. Hey there! Why do you call it vandalism out of curiosity? Maybe it shouldn’t have been inserted as a footnote, but it’s still important to ask questions like that nonetheless. I just posted a section about it at Talk:Milwaukee. I know that Milwaukee has a mosque on the city’s south side (as does neighboring Brookfield). Regardless, it would be good to know more about religious life in Milwaukee in general. Also, challenge accepted to further research this question! Hello Lotje, it was completely made up pretty much, I have no interest in sabotaging various pages (especially of decidedly evil people), though I wasn’t in the best head space when I did it. There have been reports of his declining health, but until there’s an official report of his death, then it has been totally made up.
