Speedy deletion nomination of Underground cave "Akmechet" edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Underground cave "Akmechet" requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://turkistantravel.com/material/single/underground-cave-ak-meshit. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Hello. I saw that you canceled all my edits due to the fact that they violate the copyright of the following page: http://turkistantravel.com/
I would like to say that this page has given permission to use their text. One of these days I will grant the Wikipedia Foundation permission to use texts from this site http://turkistantravel.com /. Therefore, is it possible to restore texts that have been corrected and also uploaded by me? Upravlenieturizma13 (talk) 19:00, 18 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
The order is first permission has to be given, and then a request for undeletion can happen. Td donate copyrighted materials, please follow the steps here: Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials Singularity42 (talk) 19:09, 18 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Can I ask you, you wrote that if I grant permission to use the texts (copyright), you will restore those articles that were edited. And how can I show you letters that copyright letters have been accepted by the community?Upravlenieturizma13 (talk) 18:59, 27 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

And it can be clarified, since the copyright letters were accepted by the community, and now I will start writing articles on the list of objects /attractions that were included in the letter - what is the probability that they can be deleted or rejected?Upravlenieturizma13 (talk) 19:03, 27 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Warning edit

As you can see, I have undone a lot (almost all) of your edits. Almost all of your edits have fallen into one of two problem categories:

  • They are WP:Close paraphrases of copyrighted content. You cannot copy copyrighted material and just change a few words, or move the sentences in a different order. It has to be re-written.
  • They are content additions not supported by the sources. Interestingly, in almost every case, you added a reference, but the reference said nothing about what you were adding.

I'll be frank - it too a lot of work for me to go through each of these edits individually and assess what had to be removed. Please be more careful when editing. If you are unsure, ask on the talk page first. I would also encourage you to stay away from creating articles until you have a better handle on how to avoid close paraphrases. If you continue these types of edits with the same types of problems - copyright violations and content not supported by the references you are adding - you may lose your ability to edit (because of the time it take to clean it all up afterwards), so you need to be careful going forward. Lake Kyzylkol (Turkestan region) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Lake Kyzylkol (Turkestan region), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. New articles generally need at least two (but preferably more) references from reliable sources that are independent of the subject that discuss the subject with significant coverage (trivial mentions do not contribute to notability).(See Rule 42) Information that can't be referenced to reliable sources should be removed from the draft because verifiability is necessary for information added to Wikipedia.
I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of Draft: before the article title) where you can work on the article with minimal disruption from other users while you improve it.
When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready to be published, you can move it back to the article space yourself. However, I recommend that instead of moving it yourself that you follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template that I have added to the page. This submits the article to be reviewed by experienced editors that specialize in helping new editors write their first articles. — Insertcleverphrasehere(or here)(or here)(or here) 20:49, 4 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Comment edit

This seems to be a reoccuring issue for you. If you own the copyright, please take a read of Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you believe that you do indeed own the copyright of the text and have proof, you can contest the speedy deletion and proceed to sort the issue. WP:DONATETEXT explains this process in proper detail. If you do not own the copyright, do not continue attempting to upload this content. It could result in a block. Unfortunately, I don't know much on this topic, so if you require further assistance, I'd recommend reaching out to either the help desk or the teahouse, where a more knowledgable editor can provide guidance. Aidan9382 (talk) 15:00, 6 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

The fact is that I received confirmation for permission to publish texts from this site. I was answered from the community and sent a transcription that needs to be inserted when using texts and publishing. I don't understand why you don't see this transcription. Turkupt13 (talk) 15:47, 6 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
What do you mean "transcription"? The only way the other works can be copied is if they have a Creative Commons License. All the pages you copy from still claim full copyright on their websites. We cannot copy copyrighted work on Wikipedia (and by default, all works are copyrighted unless something shows otherwise). You could still write an article in your own words and use them as sources, but you keep copying or closely-paraphrasing the sources, and that is theft. Singularity42 (talk) 16:08, 6 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Also, assuming you are the owner of the travel guide being copied from, do you understand that you can't just license it for Wikipedia to use. A Creative Commons License means anyone can re-use your work, provided they attribute it to you. That means your competitors can also start copying all your work, as long as they say it originally came from you. Are you sure you actually want to license commercial information? Singularity42 (talk) 16:12, 6 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Singularity42, we have received an email from this user on the VRTS where they have shared with us a proof from Turkistan Tourism Centre stating that over a number of 55 publications are published under GNU Free documentation license 1.2 and, with additional terms accepted by Wikipedia- without immutable sections, first page and the last page, and also under CC BY SA 3.0. This is a compatible license and this user should be allowed to copy from them, yes, with attribution. I'm pinging @Turkupt13 to make a note that I'm working on their email further. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ordabasy National Historical and Cultural Reserve requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://qazaqstan3d.kz/en/place/view?id=52.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Historical place Mynsheyit (Turkestan region) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Historical place Mynsheyit (Turkestan region), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – Pbrks (t • c) 22:05, 6 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Mazhratut edit

A tag has been placed on Mazhratut requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

I'd tag this with A7 if there was a "no indication of importance (individual plant)". This tree seems to be some sort of (tripadvisor) landmark, but it has not been subject of reliable sources. Best regards, --Johannes (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 02:43, 2 July 2022 (UTC)

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

Proposed deletion of Mazhratut edit

The article Mazhratut has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

doesn't satisfy the notability guidelines per WP:GNG. The source that is used as a reference doesn't meet WP:RS and I was also unable to find other reliable sources, further questioning the notability of this topic.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. July 2022 edit

Hello Turkupt13. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Turkupt13. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Turkupt13|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. PRAXIDICAE🌈 21:31, 11 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain namespaces ((Article)) for your continued additions of promotional content from a tourist travel site, and the unresolved questions surrounding the copyright status of that content. You may continue to create draft articles, but only if the content is either written in your own words OR released under an appropriate licence, with suitable attribution in the page.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:24, 12 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello, Dear administrators. :Recently, my account was blocked due to the fact that I post advertising content from travel sites, as well as an unresolved copyright issue. :And I want to ask you to unblock my account, as I will stop posting advertising information. :The issue of copyright is also incomprehensible to me, since when I communicated by email with the administrators, some articles were restored to drafts, and the question with the remaining texts (a list of 55 articles) I was told that my copyright issue had been resolved and the letter with the copyright issue was closed. :Now I understand that without waiting for a final answer from the administrator about copyright, I started uploading the text, during which I brought unpleasant work on everyone and myself. For which I apologize to the inspectors. :In order to avoid future conflicts regarding texts, I decided that I would write the texts that were listed on the list myself, i.e. in my formulation without violating the rules of the Wikipedia community. :Therefore, I want to ask you to unblock my account for further creation of articles about historical and cultural attractions of Kazakhstan. :I hope for your help! Thank you for the answer. Turkupt13 (talk) 8:11 pm, 22 July 2022, Friday (2 months, 1 day ago) (UTC+1)

Decline reason:

You have only been blocked from directly editing the live article space. Your articles have been moved into Draft space, and you may edit there. This gives you the opportunity to learn how to edit. When you feel that one of your Draft articles meets our inclusion criteria, and doesn't contain any copyright, then you can ask for the article to be reviewed. If acceptable, it will be moved into the live article space. If it is not appropriate you will be told why, and given the opportunity to continue working on it. After a productive period of editing in Draft space, and having at least one article moved into live article space, you may appeal again. Baba Tukti Shashti Aziz Mausoleum moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Baba Tukti Shashti Aziz Mausoleum, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your page to draft space (with a prefix of Draft: before the article title) where you can work on it with minimal disruption. When you feel that it meets our notability and neutrality requirements, and is thus ready for mainspace, please submit it using the Articles for Creation template on the page. Unblock discussion edit

The answer to copyright is to not copy any text into Wikipedia. Even a close paraphrase is not acceptable. Use the concepts, but write in words that are entirely different. Now, as to sourcing, locating WP:reliable sources can be hard. (As well I know.) The trouble is some subjects just do not meet inclusion requirements. Rather than creating new articles, you might want to improve existing articles to gain more experieince editing. Wikipedia:Community portal/Opentask has links to the less glamorous but ultimately more vital work of improving articles. That way you can also gain experience finding sources. Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:48, 1 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Lookslike I skipped right over the attribution aspect. How do you attibute content to the source? How would you WP:CITE content? -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 10:09, 12 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
