Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion nomination of Shamim azad anm edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Shamim azad anm requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Gurjar Andolan edit

Hello Shamimanm,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Gurjar Andolan for deletion, because it doesn't seem to have any encyclopedic content.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. LS1979 (talk) 09:26, 16 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edit to Powayan appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Unless you can provide reliable sources covering this person, he should not be listed in Wikipedia. As this is not your first account, you should be well aware of WP:LISTPEOPLE at this point. Poor reference - gackhollywood.com edit

Hi there, please don't add poor references to articles as you've done here and here. We only care what reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and clear editorial policies' have to say about any given subject. That would be mainstream magazines, newspapers, news websites, and so on. Faceless blogs like gackhollywood.com, which anyone can set up in a matter of minutes, are insufficient and look an awful lot like you are introducing spam links. You really should familiarize yourself with our reliable sources guidelines. I notice there are at least two links on your talk page to this very important information page. Please note also that articles about living people must be impeccably sourced. We shouldn't be adding or changing birthdates as you did here unless we have a reliable source to support the information. The publication of birthdates can constitute a privacy violation. Please see WP:BLPPRIVACY. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:05, 8 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

WP:NFF and poor referencing edit

Hi there, when you create articles on films, the basic requirement per WP:NFF is that you need to establish with reliable published sources that principal photography has begun. From the guideline:

Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles, as budget issues, scripting issues and casting issues can interfere with a project well ahead of its intended filming date. The assumption should also not be made that because a film is likely to be a high-profile release it will be immune to setbacks—there is no "sure thing" production. Until the start of principal photography, information on the film might be included in articles about its subject material, if available. Sources must be used to confirm the start of principal photography after shooting has begun.

If you fail to properly establish the film's notability, you force other editors to convert the article to a redirect, or to ask that the article be deleted. If you care about the film articles you are writing, you can't ignore this step.

Additionally, some of the references you've been using are really poor, like at Main Teri Tu Mera (which has now been redirected to Ksshitij Chaudhary) the article was entirely sourced to blogs.[1][2][3] We don't do this at Wikipedia. Per our guidelines on reliable sources, we only care what reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and clear editorial policies have to say about any given subject. That means mainstream magazines, newspapers, long-standing reputable news websites, and other well-known and respected resources run by people who went to school and studied journalism. Anyone can create a blog and proclaim themselves an expert on a subject, and nobody goes to school to become a blogger. The inclusion of these references is woefully inadequate and the result will be: 1) the poor references will be removed and 2) the articles you write are likely to wind up deleted. If you want these articles to survive, please observe WP:NFF and please only submit quality references. Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:36, 10 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Aron Mitr edit

The article Aron Mitr has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Notability edit

Hi there, your seemingly confused edit summary here, "Why...????" in response to someone nominating Aron Mitr for deletion, seems very out of place to me. If you're confused why someone would nominate that article for deletion, two reasons might be: 1) you didn't bother to include more than one sentence--it's not much of an encyclopedia article, 2) you did nothing to establish the subject's notability. All article subjects must be notable, because otherwise every random person in the world would want to build a vanity Wikipedia article about themselves. Please familiarize yourself with our notability criteria. In this case, either the General Notability Guideline must be met, or the specific guidelines for actors. Please note that I'm giving you ample opportunities to click the links and familiarize yourself with these principles, so that future articles you create will have a better chance of survival. If you continue to create problematic articles without regard for notability, it is almost certain to be perceived as disruptive. Good luck, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:32, 1 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yamini Malhotra edit

I have deleted Yamini Malhotra because a deletion discussion (which you did not bother to participate in) already occurred at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Yamini Malhotra. Consensus felt that deleting the article was appropriate. You need to very quickly read and understand our WP:NOTABILITY guidelines, because the next time you disruptively create an article about someone for whom you fail to establish notability, your editing privileges will be interrupted. Notability is generally established when there is significant coverage from established reliable sources that are independent of the subject. This means in-depth articles written about a person, not passing mentions and photo galleries. "Reliable sources" means mainstream publications with established reputations for fact-checking and a clear editorial policy. This excludes blogs, wikis, etc. Interviews do not count toward establishing notability. You have been given ample opportunity to read these pages, as they are linked numerous times in my last comment to you. Note also that Wikipedia does not tolerate promotion, so if that's what you are here to achieve, you should find somewhere else to do it. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:39, 19 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Gurjar Aandolan edit

The article Gurjar Aandolan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability. All but one of the references are either dead links or pages not mentioning Gurjar Aandolan, and the other one does not indicate notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. The king of the sun (talk) 15:20, 20 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ek Prayas edit

Hello Shamimanm,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ek Prayas for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Kavdiamanju (talk) 04:07, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for June 5 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ek Prayas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ambedkar. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Gulista Aalija edit

I have deleted the article Gulista Aalija because you did not adequately establish the subject's notability either per our general notability guideline or per the specific criteria at WP:NACTOR. Just because someone exists doesn't mean they deserve an article at Wikipedia--they have to be notable, and your responsibility as an editor is to be sure your properly establish the subject's notability per Wikipedia standards. I believe that you likely have a conflict of interest with the subjects you have created articles on. If so, you are strongly discouraged from editing these articles or creating new articles about people that you might have a close connection to. I get the sense that you are using Wikipedia as an advertising platform, which you are not allowed to do. Please stop. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:43, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

I see that you've recreated the problem article but haven't properly established the subject's notability. I'll give you 48 hours to do so before it is deleted again. I'm getting the sense that you're only here for promotional purposes, so I'd advise you to start discussing your edits here rather than silently resubmitting them. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Proposed deletion of Krishna Kumar Srivastava edit

The article Krishna Kumar Srivastava has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable. Zero significant hits on Google News. Article was created by a sock operator, Shamimanm, who created several articles about people entwined with the theatre group he is part of, Abhivyakti Natya Manch. Vanity article.
