Comics character material edit

Hi. In light of the discussion we had back in May - October regarding your edits, and the impression I got that the problematic aspects of your edits would be resolved, I noticed this edit of yours from November, and have two requests to make:

1. First, I mentioned in the list of changes I presented to you during that earlier discussion, could you please include more complete publication info in your citations of specific issues, at least when those issues are available to you? If you look at the Miles Morales article, for example, you'll notice that every single issue that is cited as a source presents the full publication info. If you're going to add an issue cite, you should be able to add it. The publisher (Marvel, DC, etc.) is the easiest to add, since you know which company publishes this character or that character. And when you can't remember or don't have some portion of the info at hand, I recommend Comic Book Roundup, Grand Comics Database and Comic Book Database to fill it in.

2. Second --- and I apologize for not mentioning this in last year's discussion, as I thought I had --- plot info or synopses should be written in the present tense, not the past tense, as explained at WP:PLOTPRESENT.

Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 05:01, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

You need to read people's messages more carefully, since much of what you just said has nothing to do with what I did.
To clarify:
I did not say anything about "wrong information". I said that you could include the full publication info, and that even when this is not available to you, you could, at a minimum, at least include the publisher name, since you're aware of when the publisher of an issue you cite is Marvel or DC. I also pointed out that mentioned this to you last year.
I did not indicate that you edited the Miles Morales article. Go back and read what I actually wrote in regards to that article.
I understand the issue of habit regarding past tense wording. Duly noted. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. Nightscream (talk) 16:38, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited DC Universe Animated Original Movies, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Billy Brown (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

User:Jhenderson777/Thunderbolt (DC Comics) edit

Since you seem to know a lot about your comics. I decided to see if you can help with expanding material on this sandbox. I can't have time to do it now. Jhenderson 777 21:56, 29 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

That’s the plan. A lot of the info can be already be shown on the Johnny Thunder and Jakeem Thunder page with the exception of Powers and abilities. FYI I changed the title for Johnny Thunder just to include Thunderbolt but we can still split the two characters off later. Jhenderson 777 22:14, 30 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
I am well aware that there are different Thunderbolts. There is Peter Cannon who is unrelated to the JSA character mostly who already has his own article. Also there are more than one “Thunderbolt” (genies) than Yz. I am not even counting a one time villain of Mister America. I think putting a not to be confused tag of Peter Cannon while using the similar characters (Yz, Mzzttexxal, Zzlrrrzzzm) as the primary topic is the way to go. Jhenderson 777 23:49, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thinking about that. That’s probably the best way to go. Sure we’ll go ahead and try that. Jhenderson 777 23:34, 2 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Monster High: Boo York, Boo York edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Monster High: Boo York, Boo York requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://monsterhigh.wikia.com/wiki/Boo_York,_Boo_York_(TV_special). For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Jamie Madrox edit

Why did you remove mention, from a paragraph in the Jamie Madrox article, that the events described that paragraph occurred in the 2018 miniseries Multiple Man, without any explanation for this in your edit summary, which merely says, "Making some additions."?

Why did you add the passage "where it causes M-Pox on mutants", without explaining to the reader what this means?

And why did you add the indefinite article "a" to a sentence to make it now read "After tests reveal that he was indeed affected by the Mist and suffers organ failure, he steals a time machine in the hopes of finding a cure for his predicament, resulting in a damage to the timeline"? Why would you do this? Do you not know how the word "damage" is properly used in sentence? Have you ever observed people saying "a damage"? Nightscream (talk) 00:46, 30 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Legends of the Hidden Temple's last airdate edit

Do you happen to know when in 1995 Legends of the Hidden Temple last aired? Only the year is given on the page and I'm trying to figure out when in 1995 the game show last aired. It's said to have last aired in the fall of 1995 and the following Season 3 airdates have been confirmed:

  • The Lion-Slashed Jacket of Sacagawea - June 16 (Taped February 24)
  • The War Fan of the 47 Ronin - July 11 (Taped February 18)
  • The Jewel-Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great - August 9
  • The Broken Trident of Poseidon - August 10

Of course, the sources that say that Legends last aired on June 27, 1995 are completely wrong as a few airdates after June 27 have been confirmed. Also, those sources say that the show's third season started airing in late 1994 when the "War Fan of the 47 Ronin" production slate says that season started production on February 18, 1995.

List of minor Marvel Comics characters edit

Hi Rtkat3, I just noticed that you recreated (or un-redirected) this page. After looking at the history for it, would it just be better to move the individual characters to the pages by letter? For example, Aardwolf, Abominatrix, and the other "A" characters could be moved to List_of_Marvel_Comics_characters:_A. It would seem better to do that, than to have a separate page for "minor" characters that are not included in the pages by letter. Natg 19 (talk) 23:45, 9 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
