WON

Hi, Ribbon. I saw your editions in WON awards (looks like Meltzer loves NJPW) and I put them in spanish wiki. However, do you have online sources? I saw a month ago the WON and PWI articles and they have a loooot of vandalism. I haven't an official online source, so I don't know the true winners. Do you think we should ask for a protection? --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 18:13, 23 January 2014 (UTC) It's a pain in the ass https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Pro_Wrestling_Illustrated_awards&diff=591551796&oldid=577464284 as you can see, many editions, but I don't know the real winners. Tag of the year, Kingston-truth or Bad Influence? 1997 feud of the year, ddp vs savage or michaels hart? I don't know. Its a huge list and IPs vandalice it. It's hard to find wrong winners or runner-ups. 2012 wrestler of the year, easy. 1987 tag team 3rd runner up... imposible. I will ask in the project to put attention over these articles, because maybe, it's a wrong table. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 21:32, 23 January 2014 (UTC) PS: Can you send me the PDF with the winners? I like to see the official list XD --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 21:39, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

Haha, I though it will be difficult. If you want, my e-mail ignaciogrifol@hotmail.com However, If you feel bad, don't send me ;) Also, I started a discussion in the project about the awards --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 18:20, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for personal attacks [1] and edit warring, as you did at The Mighty Don't Kneel. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 08:40, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

Hi Ribbon, seeing as you've edited NXT Arrival, you may wish to contribute to a discussion I've started over in WT:PW on whether NXT Arrival deserves an article, and how the WWE Network affects our articles in the future. starship.paint (talk | ctrb) 12:00, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

Reverting

Please stop removing stuff from pages, as you did to Wrestle-1. If you are reverted, and you have been many times by more than 1 person, then you need to start a discussion if you wish to make a change. Please stop making disruptions to pages. Wrestle-1 template does not need to be listed. Just because a template is in "Related Articles" doesnt mean it HAS to be listed. Judgement should be used, and its not necessary in this case. BlackDragon 17:10, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

You straight up say you arent going to start a discussion and you are going to keep reverting like a child? Please start a discussion before you revert again. You have been reverted by 2 different people. We can even add a note saying they were defended as part of the working relationship with TNA or something. You seriously need to actually discussion and work this out instead of reverting recklessly, come on man. Be civilized please. BlackDragon 17:19, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Alex Koslov

Hi Ribbon, can I check with you, the main picture in Koslov's article, is it Koslov or Romero? It looks like Romero to me, but the elbow sleeves confuse me.
Also is it The Forever Hooligans or Forever Hooligans? I thought there wasn't a "the"? Sorry I don't watch NJPW or ROH, I thought you would. starship.paint (talk | ctrb) 08:26, 16 March 2014 (UTC)

Okay thanks for the info Ribbon. But seeing as they've wrestled more NJPW TV/PPV matches than ROH TV/PPV matches, wouldn't the name without "the" be the "main" name? starship.paint (talk | ctrb) 10:36, 16 March 2014 (UTC)

Kaisen:Outbreak

I don't understand the insistence on not labeling Kaisen: Outbreak as a TNA/W-1 production. TNA sent 14 wrestlers over to Japan, were heavily involved in the booking since 3 of their titles were defended, filmed the event for a One Night Only PPV, and billed the event on their own website as a TNA/W-1 event.

TNA's involvement in this event is very deep, and to list it as merely a W-1 show would be incorrect. Kaisen: Outbreak was a joint effort (or "supershow", which has become the common term for inter-promotional shows) of W-1 and TNA...similar to the the upcoming ROH/NJPW supershows.

Vjmlhds (talk) 02:30, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Never tell another editor they don't know what they're talking about...not cool. Vjmlhds 12:57, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

Here's an updated promotional poster advertising Kaisen:Outbreak as a W-1/TNA supershow. The original poster was made pre-TNA involvement, and the newer one was made after TNA got in. Not doubting Keiji Mutoh had grand plans of a big W-1 shindig in November 2013, but then he realized he needed some help to put this together, thus the partnership with TNA. Vjmlhds (talk) 17:10, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

Please refrain from changing genres without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Please don't remove sourced material Vjmlhds 17:14, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

Please stop attacking other editors. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Your tone is out of line. Please refrain from foul language, or you will be blocked. Vjmlhds 17:20, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

March 2014

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Kaisen: Outbreak. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Vjmlhds 21:14, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

Please stop. I'm sensing some WP:Ownership issues here, since you created the article. Please remember once an article goes up, it's fair game for all to edit. And when an editor makes an edit with a reference which was deemed as credible by a third party, it's bad form to remove it. Using foul language and telling me to "get over it" could be looked at as WP:Personal, so let cooler heads prevail here, OK. Vjmlhds (talk) 21:26, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

You're the one not listening to reason...I asked if the sources I provided had any credibility, and one was deemed acceptable. From here, it merely looks like you want to engage in a p***ing contest. I'm seriously considering going to the admins regarding your abrasive and uncalled for behavior, so I'd suggest to turn it down a notch. Vjmlhds (talk) 21:35, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

Behavior

Treat other editors respectfully, and there's no need for warnings. You have a real disrespectful attitude, and I suggest you change it. Vjmlhds (talk) 22:31, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

Edit warring

Your recent editing history at Kaisen: Outbreak shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. STATic message me! 22:31, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

I humbly award you with the Wiki Warrior Star. You're tough, don't back down, and you rented space in my head for awhile there. You got some good shots in, and I gotta give the devil his due. Vjmlhds (talk) 04:36, 23 March 2014 (UTC)

I'm done

I'm done...you win. Though I disagree with the edit on Kaisen:Outbreak, I'd prefer a more cooperative working relationship with you than an adversarial one.
I offer as a peace offering the back scratcher's Barnstar. This in the spirit of the old cliche of "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine". Vjmlhds (talk) 03:58, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

A question

Just out of curiosity, I'd like you to answer a question for me.

I saw the article you created for the upcoming ROH/NJPW War of the Worlds supershow, where you clearly called it an ROH/NJPW supershow.

But when I labeled Kaisen: Outbreak as a TNA/W-1 supershow, you raised holy hell.

My question is...aren't both shows the same thing? (American promotion + Japanese promotion = big humdinger mega card a.k.a. supershow.)

Vjmlhds (talk) 15:09, 29 March 2014 (UTC)

Fair enough...BTW nice job on both the WotW and Global Wars articles. Vjmlhds (talk) 15:29, 29 March 2014 (UTC)

Mikey Nicholls

Please leave the re-direct in place until you show on the TMDK talk page how his individual notability has changed. This is the correct procedure. WP:RECREATE does not apply until you demonstrate this on another platform. The TMDK talk page is ideal. 124.180.170.151 (talk) 22:46, 2 April 2014 (UTC)

The page is now going for speedy deletion under GS4. 124.180.170.151 (talk) 22:58, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
Hi Ribbon, for the Nicholls article, perhaps TMDK and the GHC title shot should be mentioned in the body of the article? Also, I'd like to bring up an issue, the Template:Professional wrestling in Japan and List of professional wrestling promotions in Japan#Major promotions aren't synchronized, the template says DDT is a major promotion (list does not), while the list says Zero1 is a major promotion (template does not). starship.paint "YES!" 09:42, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
Haha I don't know either, for Japan. At least for the United States, all the major promotions have national TV coverage. Not sure how this works for Japan. I think I read a source some time ago that (maybe some time ago) NJPW, AJPW and NOAH were big? I'm biased towards Dragon Gate but if they had the clout to set up an American branch, while having TV+PPV product they can't be small fry either. No idea about Zero1, I've heard more of DDT over them but it's also obvious that DDT is a niche product. starship.paint "YES!" 09:55, 6 April 2014 (UTC)

Grand Slam

Hi. About the older champion in the grand slam, It's Kingston. The fact is he holds the title with 32 years, so he is the youngest and the oldest champion of the title. About "we count since he won the title", it doesn't have any sense. If Kingston was 29 when he won the title and now he is 32, that means he is also the oldest champion and we can't put Icarus with 31 year. For example, the WWE Tag Team Championship, the oldest was Road Warrior. However, Kane won the title and he became older than Road Warrior, so Kane is the oldest champion. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 17:19, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi, Ribbon. First of all, I opened a Requested Move in La Parka's article. Second, I have a question. I saw you made some editions in CMLL events, like Sin Piedad or En Busca de un ídolo. However, I put my eyes on CMLL XX Anniversary Show. Why do you put the name in English? All sources call it Aniversario, not Anniversary. The name should be CMLL XX Aniversario. Accents

Hi Ribbon. I saw two editions, about accents in Spanish names. Alberto del Rio and Ricky Reyes. José is a name in spanish, we always write it with accent (Is a big mistake to write Jose instead José). Second, the last name Díaz. We write with accent to. We are talking about spanish names/last names, so I think we should respect the accents. Maybe, the sources don't use accent because are english (Maybe they don't know how to write them, maybe the keyboards don't have accents), but the real names use accents. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 12:43, 20 September 2014 (UTC)

Help

Hi, you said use ADF if i want to delete the wrestling articles could you please help do this as i am unsure what to do, i have read the page and steps but its confusing. Lukejordan02 (talk) 13:26, 7 October 2014 (UTC)

I would suggest you use your time doing something else. Outside of those ECW articles, I don't think your AfDs would have great odds at being successful. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 14:33, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
May i ask what makes you think that? They don't appear to abide by Wiki's notability guideline. Lukejordan02 (talk) 14:40, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
I agree that some of the early Triplemanía articles lack sources and are not great. They definitely need to be worked on, but they also, in my opinion, are notable enough for articles, being the biggest annual events in Mexican professional wrestling. Maybe AfDs would get people to work on them, but beyond that, I don't see the point in nominating them. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 18:46, 7 October 2014 (UTC)

Thanks. Maybe, ask for a ban is a good idea --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 23:52, 3 November 2014 (UTC)

I Have an Idea

I thought of an idea for the Matt Taven page while I was temporarily banned. I think we should keep my pictures only because they are up to date and they show a lot about his success in ROH. Also there are 2 of the same picture on that page. Also, I know I have a lot of info on him. I got it from this site http://prowrestling.wikia.com/. So there are no more disputes between you and myself, as well as between me and HHH Pedigree. I think that so there is no more edit warring we should take out any matches that cannot be found on wikipedia unless they are #1 contender matches, title matches/defenses, or proving ground matches. I'm still kind of new to wikipedia and I still haven't figured out how to source stuff and that is why all of my info for the Matt Taven and Cedric Alexander pages is unsourced. Lastly, I was thinking about making a page for The Kingdom and I was hoping that you could help me. If you do want to take part in this please let me know as soon as you get this so we can get started. I hope that you take everything that I've written here into consideration if/when you make your decision. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peroxwhyhalo (talkcontribs) 14:39, 9 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Some questions about the WON Awards. Did you recieve the 2014 awards yet? Also, I found this. Do you think it's useful? I find some awards, like the Most Washed Up or BIGGEST SHOCK OF THE YEAR --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 20:46, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

Dragon Lee II

Hi dude. The link where is listed the real name of Místico Nueva Era says he is one of four brothers with William Arturo (Rush), Emmanuel (probably is Dragon Lee II), and Vianney (a girl). I think Dragon Lee II's real name is Emmanuel Muñoz González due to is the only man listed as his brother in the article. What do you think about that? Should we add that name to the article of Dragon Lee II? — Preceding unsigned comment added by MichaelBreacker (talkcontribs) 18:41, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

Drago

Hi. Do you think we should change the article to Drago (wrestler)? He won the mixed tag team title as Drago and he is working in LU under that name. I think is the common name. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 20:12, 25 January 2015 (UTC)

Jr.

Fixing widespread style issues is not easy. In this revert you noted "the articles need to be moved first". Actually, they don't need to be, since redirects are in place, and since improving the style in the nav template has benefits of its own. Fixing tangled messes can go in any order, and seldom run to completion, but progress can be made. I picked this cluster of wrestlers as the first place where I saw a lot of "Jr." with commas before, as uncontroversial, because both our own WP:MOS and most of the relevant sources suggest these commas are superfluous. I'd like your help, or at least non-interference, if you agree; and if you disagree, say why. Dicklyon (talk) 18:26, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

I've moved ahead with moving and editing articles, and editing templates. Some of the template edits may be slightly ahead of the execution of technical move requests. If you see any out of sync or where I've forgotten to take care of a move, let me know and I'll fix it shortly. Thanks. Dicklyon (talk) 20:51, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

I got the cluster of wrestlers fixed. Let me know if you see loose ends. Dicklyon (talk) 18:24, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

Okada

Although you may be right about Wikipedia rules, with all due respect, you are not right about the name of the move that Okada used to perform. I'm not doing anything that targets you personaly, im doin whats true to the wrestler. There's no such thing as a "modified osotogari", no matter what the source says. Look for Okada's old videos and match reports, he did an STO, the announcers say is an STO, because it's an STO, not a mofified osotogari. The later is a judo move, the STO is a wrestling move, Okada is a wrestler, and this is a wrestling article. I'm not rv your edits trying to annoy you or disrespect you in any way, but we as editors have to keep it truthfully, as leaving it as modified osotogari is incorrect, as, ive already said before, he used to perform an STO, and it's been reported as an STO. I would like to discuss is with you to see if we can work on this in any way we can. Replace it with STO? Or maybe keep osotogari and add STO to the list? Thanks for your time. PRwrestlinganalyst (talk) March 17 2015 6:09 (UTC)

I agree with you, but I still think it's silly to keep a move in his list he never really used (the osotogari). If I'm not mistaken, there are some old Okada match reports during the time he used the move in which the STO is mentioned. PRwrestlinganalyst (talk) March 17 2015 7:17 (UTC)

CHIKARA Main Page

Since you are the main editor of the CHIKARA page, I wanted to reach out and suggest a new section with details the highlights and plot summaries of each Season. The current History Section is great, but it only seems to touch on the company's historical events. But as you know, CHIKARA is incredibly storyline driven - the only other company that comes close is Lucha Underground. I think an individual Season History would be helpful for anyone using the page. Below is a rough draft of my idea.

What do you think?

Thank you! Babs
(Also, I am no longer affiliated with CHIKARA. So, there's no conflict of interest.)

Season Highlights
Season 1 Although the inaugural season was almost cut short and The Wrestle Factory could no longer host events, CHIKARA persevered and crowned its first champion when Hallowicked won the Young Lions Cup, as the Black T-Shirt Squad (Mike Quackenbush, Reckless Youth, and Don Montoya) and the Night Shift (Blind Rage, Hallowicked, and Ichabod Slayne) battled back and forth.

Season 2 While there was no Young Lions Cup tournament during Season Two, the Tag World Grand Prix began and was won by the Night Shift (Hallowicked and Blind Rage). UltraMantis Black was born, as Ichabod Slayne returned as Icarus and teamed up with Gran Akuma, forming F.I.S.T., and Claudio Castagnoli made his CHIKARA debut.

Season 3 UltraMantis Black was born and the Young Lions Cup tournament returned. The tournament was won by “Sweet n’ Sour” Larry Sweeney, who defeated Jigsaw in the final. Sweeney and Jigsaw would feud over the YLC and from their rivalry rose another yearly CHIKARA tradition, the eight-on-eight Torneo Cibernetico.

Season 4 During the finals of the second Tag World Grand Prix, John Kerry betrayed his partner Mike Quackenbush and joined with Arik Cannon, Claudio Castagnoli, and F.I.S.T. (Icarus and Gran Akuma) to form the Kings of Wrestling. They were seemingly invincible and took over CHIKARA, but cracks began to show after Akuma lost his mask and Cannon left the group.

Season 5 At the end of the Tag World Grand Prix, CHIKARA crowned its first Campeones de Parejas, John Kerry and Claudio Castagnoli, and established the rule system to determine challengers. The Kings of Wrestling continued to break apart when Hero turned on Castagnoli, after Icarus won the Cibernetico and F.I.S.T. took the titles from their Kings of Wrestling stable mates.

Season 6 The King of Trios tournament began and was won by the trio of Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw and Shane Storm. Quack finally got a singles match with John Kerry and won with a new submission move called “The CHIKARA Special.” Hero continued to fall to the hold, which Quack taught to all the technicos, along with its counter, which Hero somehow learned. However, Hero’s discovery did not stop Claudio Castagnoli from forcing him out of CHIKARA.

Season 7 With help from his spy Tim Donst, Mike Quackenbush learned John Kerry discovered the counter to “The CHIKARA Special” from his own partner, Shane Storm and wanted revenge. The former Equinox and Young Lions Cup Champion, now malcontent Vin Gerard, would approach Storm, and encourage him to join him leading to the birth of STIGMA and the UnStable. Claudio Castagnoli and Brodie Lee had a heated feud which led to CHIKARA’s first cage match.

Season 8 UltraMantis Black revealed he orchestrated the trades which led to Shane Storm betraying his partner, Mike Quackenbush, and John Kerry learning the counter to “The CHIKARA Special” in exchange for Dr. Cube’s “the Eye of Tyr,” which he used to control Delirious. At the season finale, a new group named die Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (Ares, Claudio Castagnoli, Tim Donst, Sara Del Rey, Daizee Haze, Delirious, Pinkie Sanchez, Lince Dorado, Jakob Hammermeier, referee Derek Sabato, and Director of Fun Deiter VonSteigerwalt) would form to claim the “Eye of Tyr” and challenge CHIKARA.

Season 9 The BDK (die Bruderschaft des Kreuzes) dominated CHIKARA as Tim Donst became Young Lions Cup Champion, Ares and Claudio Castagnoli won los Campeonatos de Parejas in quick fashion, and the trio of Ares, Claudio, and Tursas won King of Trios. They were also able to take the “Eye of Tyr” and force Delirious to join them. Despite the BDK impressive wins and title defenses, the tide started to turn when UltraMantis Black brought together a Cibernetico team of CHIKARA’s finest to defeat them and at the Season Finale, Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw were able to bring los Campeonatos back home to CHIKARA.

Season 10 Wink Vavasseur was appointed new Director of Fun after World Wide Media Development Corporation, subsidy of the Titor Conglomerate, purchased CHIKARA. Vavasseur soon introduced a brand new singles title, the CHIKARA Grand Championship. Twelve wrestlers entered the 12 Large: Summit to win the title, which concluded with Mike Quackenbush versus Eddie Kingston at CHIKARA’s first iPay Per View, High Noon. Also at High Noon, UltraMantis Black reclaimed the “Eye of Tyr” from a dying BDK as they made their last stand.

Season 11 Having reclaimed the “Eye of Tyr,” UltraMantis Black freed Delirious, who vowed to make hims suffer, but despite this, The Spectral Envoy (UltraMantis/Hallowicked/Frightmare) won King of Trios. GEKIDO snuck into CHIKARA and immediately targeting Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw, and the Colony. Director of Fun Wink Vavasseur’s CHIKARAbermetrics calculations caused trouble when Soldier Ant was forced to join GEKIDO as assailANT took his place in the Colony, Sugar Dunkerton was shuffled into F.I.S.T., and Akuma joined 3.0.

Season 12 Wink Vavasseur continued to control CHIKARA and create chaos by making Soldier Ant lead his Colony: Xtreme Force (Missile Assault Ant/Orbit Adventure Ant/Arctic Rescue Ant), forcing Eddie Kingston to constantly defend the CHIKARA Grand Championship, and firing Mike Quackenbush. After a compromising photo of Titor Conglomerate executives was revealed, he commanded Titor Conglomerate’s Condor Security end Aniversario: Never Compromise during the event and he closed CHIKARA in a shocking move.

Season 13 With CHIKARA closed, the wrestlers and fans were left without a home, and spread out amongst the seven smaller “Wrestling is” companies. But an unlikely hero in the form of Icarus united the locker room and rallied the fans to bring CHIKARA back by confronting the Titor Conglomerate and Condor Security and standing up to The Flood at National Pro Wrestling Day.

Season 14 CHIKARA returned, drawing its largest crowd ever at “You Only Live Twice,” but The Flood, a super group of rudos led by Deucalion and Jimmy Jacobs, tried to end the company once and for all. The war caused both sides many losses, including Kobald, Tursas, the Estonian ThunderFrog, and Archibald Peck. However, at the season finale, Grand Champion Icarus was able to defeat and destroy Deucalion, making the Flood recede and allowing CHIKARA to have “A New Start.” — Preceding unsigned comment added by BabsChikara (talkcontribs) 17:17, 19 July 2015 (UTC)

Trent Baretta

I noticed that you've been cleaning up entries related to my having added Roppongi Vice, which I appreciate; however, there's one minor area that I'm curious about. The fellow who is variously known as Trent Barreta, Baretta, Trent?, etcetera, is officially listed as "Beretta" on his New Japan Pro-Wrestling roster page at http://www.njpw.co.jp/english/data/detail_profile.php?f=846 which is why in the course of adding Roppongi Vice links elsewhere I swapped out several references to him as "Baretta" whenever the topic was NJPW-exclusive (mostly templates and the like). Now, you're much more experienced at editing Wikipedia than I am, so I entirely defer to your judgement on what to call somebody, but it'd help if I could get a bit of clarification as to how naming conventions in such situations work so I don't make similar errors in the future. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ErdrickLoto (talkcontribs) 14:16, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

Years ago actually. If I only fixed redirects with my edit it might matter, but since that was not the only changes I made the redirect fixes are both legitimate and just fine. I am not sure why those fixes seem to get under your skin??? All I do is try to add or improve articles, so please no not quote guidelines like I just registered an account. With all proper respect and so on, thank you.  MPJ-US

  • Since you cannot remain civil i really do not want to carry out a conversation with you. And it looks like you need to know the rules before you start to get all huffy about them. Clearly states it is not okay to edit just to fix a redirect, which i was not Q.E.D. Still not sure why this gets you

So pissed of? I go through most of the AAA show articles and update them to the results table inatead of the old format, yet all i hear is complaints about something that 1) does not make the articles worse, 2) has no impact to a single thing you do. But you would rather misapply a rule than something constructive? Yeah I don't have time for your drama. So i will continue to.fix redirects.if I am doing other changes to the articles anyway, you can always try to.get some admin action taken against me, did not work for that JK guy who ONLY fixes redirects, but hey maybe it will work since i am doing constructive, helpful work for Wikipedia instead of quoting rules that they do not seem to know 100%. IWGP Junior Title

I'm going to reverse some of your edits. Namely for these reasons, one this is the English wikipedia used primarily in the U.S. that does not go by the metric system. Second, the caps part for Slam does not fit because the certain punctuation are an exception. Slam is an exception since it has undergone numerous GA and FACs with this type of spelling. The reason the IV is added after the names is to show the difference between them and the others. New Japan may not list it but this is for readers on Wikipedia.--WillC 15:09, 30 August 2015 (UTC)

"In non-scientific articles relating to the United States, the primary units are US customary, e.g. 97 pounds (44 kg)." - New Japan appears in the U.S. The title has been defended in the U.S. in the past. IWGP Titles have appeared off and on in the U.S. in general. The article is in English and relates to U.S. wrestling. Primary unit is U.S. per metric.--WillC 15:20, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
MOS:TIES: "An article on a topic that has strong ties to a particular English-speaking nation should use the English of that nation" - "This guideline should not be used to claim national ownership of any article"--WillC 15:24, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
The above basically shows why you reverting 100% is against the same guideline you are claiming backs you up. Strong ties with the U.S. on an English Wikipedia. The U.S. wins out in the situation. If this was the Japanese Wikipedia I'd agree with you, but it is not. That is why it was included and chosen to be as so in the FLC.--WillC 15:26, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
Considering the FLC admin promoted the article and actively worked on fixing table sorting issues on this one and the tag titles I don't see it being that big of a surprise. Afterall, this is the English Wikipedia used by Americans. Americans don't understand metric too well. The above policy says subjects with strong ties to a U.S. speaking nation. Well it was featured in WCW and changed hands on national U.S. tv twice. Also was connected to the WWF Lightweight Title and the WCW Lightweight title. Not hard to make an argument as to why U.S. customs should overtake Japanese customs since the kg is still shown. Just explains it in pounds for the American audience instead of the Japanese or international audience.--WillC 15:36, 30 August 2015 (UTC)

If we went by that type of thinking the article would be written in Japanese because it is a Japanese based company. However, this is the English Wikipedia and it primarily uses American English has its base. Thus American-centric forms should be used. I'm only trying to maintain the way the article was prior to the split because it was a Featured List and the format was approved by peer review.--WillC 16:05, 30 August 2015 (UTC)

IGF

There is an issue regarding the second defense. The MTV article some reason won't load but when you search it on google, the prompt for the article clearly states "2007, Angle defended the IWGP World Title successfully against Kendo Kashin."--WillC 21:45, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi

  Hi
You should be a lot of fun in parties dont you? Talking seriously if i made a account in this page it was because i want to help the quality of some articles and obviously one cant put every single move certain wrestler has done but that isnt a excuse to make for example the in ring section of Naito look so incomplete, i dont know how many matches have you see of Naito and Nakamura but their moveset is way more big that their description say. And i am still new in this so i am still learning.

PD: Calling a Brainbuster a "Vertical suplex into a brainbuster"doesnt look very good, thats why i changed it MiSu Cold (talk) 05:33, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

Canadian male/female professional wrestlers vs Canadian professional wrestlers

The category you have is ridiculous. Nobody refers to anyone as a Canadian male professional wrestler or a Canadian female professional wrestler. They are all Canadian professional wrestlers. People refer to wrestlers by nationality, not by nationality and gender. And it was the category that was used in the past. People want to log in and see the list of all wrestlers based on nationality, regardless of gender.

You said it's category wikipedia has. If you noticed, I did not delete the category or remove it from the subjects' pages. However, wikipedia also has Canadian professional wrestlers category. So, being that wikipedia has that category, I see no reason why you needed to delete my updates. All I was doing was adding the proper pages to that category.
