This block is related to what appears to me to be ongoing edit-warring at our articles on Matt Taven and Cedric Alexander: you mustn't keep hitting the "undo" button, even if your version is out-and-out better than the versions written by other people. We simply need to have stable articles; it's great if one person is editing an article to improve it, and great if multiple people are working together to improve it, but when it's see-sawing back and forth between different versions, we're left with chaos, and nobody benefits. I'm willing to talk with you about this (and about the copyright issues for the images) if you desire; leave a note on my talk page after the block expires, or before it expires, you can write a note here and notify me by including a link to my userpage in your self-signed message. Idea

The rest of this sounds fine, but those aren't "your pictures". You took them from Twitter and some other website and have no permission to post them here. They will be deleted. The old pictures have proper licenses and should be used. Also, you can't use other wikis/wikias as sources as anyone can edit them. Once again, check WP:PW/SG for proper sources. Finally, I really have no interest in 99% of what Ring of Honor does, The Kingdom included. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 15:05, 9 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm not the emperor of Wikipedia (yet), so I have no say on what the other guys think of this, but title matches and most of the defenses at least should be ok. You know, what seems important. What leads to a feud, is part of a major storyline or stuff like that. Regarding images, I see what you just did to the Matt Taven image and undid it, 'cause you can't do it like that. Those images are not free and you can't fake permissions on them. Uploading images is pretty complicated and you need to do a lot more reading regarding the policies before you upload again. Maybe you should just stop it for now and let others do it instead. There are other more experienced users who will properly upload free images when they are put on sites like Flickr. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 16:22, 9 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Avono. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Cedric Alexander, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Why

edit

We explained to you, but you doesn't hear us. We don't include every match Taven and Cedric had. "On March 30 at ROH War he was defeated by ACH in a proving ground that also included Jay Lethal and Roderick Strong." Why is this match important? "On April 6, he would successful defend the title against ACH.", why is this title defende important? "On May 11 at Dragon's Reign he defeated TaDarius Thomas." Why is this match important? "On August 17 he defeated Mike Mondo."... Do you see what I'm talking about? --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 20:47, 11 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

I applaud you for reaching out to Ribbon. I undid your edit before I saw that post, so I apologize for that. Unfortunately I probably would have undid it anyway because you haven't corrected any of the problems from before. As Avono points out, it's still largely unsourced, and as HHH points out the large block of text you added includes some events that aren't important. You told Ribbon that you got this information from this site, which is not a reliable source (WP:RS) for information. You can search through wrestling reliable sources using this tool or browse from the sites on this list.LM2000 (talk) 20:58, 11 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
We explained to you, but you don't get it. We include important matches. A random match against Mike Mondo in a random event isn't important. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 21:04, 11 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Again, you don't get it. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 21:12, 11 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Some of those edits did include things like title defenses which are pretty important, as Ribbon told you earlier. Random 6-man tags and other assorted matches aren't really encylcopedic though.LM2000 (talk) 21:07, 11 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Im not talking about 6 man tag Im talking about proving ground matches

Your edition includes things like "6 man tag team matches", "fatal 4 ways", "random matches (vs mike mondo)". Also, the the title defensed were summarized in one line. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 21:21, 11 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

The reason I included those matches is because they are on wikipedia thats it. NO OTHER REASON.

Nope. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 21:33, 11 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Not sound mean or anything but what does that mean?

Not a good reason. We explained to you how Wikipedia works, but you doesn't listen. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 21:37, 11 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Mike Bennett (wrestler). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. NiciVampireHeart 07:26, 19 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
