Speedy deletion nomination of Vibhav Kant Upadhyay

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Vibhav Kant Upadhyay, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Draft:Vibhav Kant Upadhyay

edit

This article was nominated for speedy deletion, which I've declined as I think it's possible it can be fixed. I checked back on your original version and it still contained a lot of promotional language, e.g. "His avid and in-depth knowledge of the political and education system has allowed him to approach his development framework in a structured and scientific manner." It still contains a lot, e.g. "His unique initiatives are well supported..." You can work on it in draft and then submit it for review. Deb (talk) 07:34, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi User:Deb, Can you please clarify what is promotional in the article. It was live for last 3 years. And now you are think it is promotional.Randfiskin (talk) 17:24, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
I've given you an example above. Can't you see what is promotional about that wording? Have you read the Wikipedia:NPOV policy? Deb (talk) 17:28, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
My Apologies, i just checked. And removed the promotional content. and submit the draft. Randfiskin (talk) 18:40, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Vibhav Kant Upadhyay (August 25)

edit

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Hako9 was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: The subject is clearly not notable. I couldn't find any reliable sources that could be classified as significant coverage. The sources that have been cited are trivial mentions. I am declining without the option to resubmit, since I am confident it wouldn't survive AFD WP:BEFORE and WP:GNG anytime in the future.

Invitation to WikiProject Basic Income

edit

Hi, I see you are an editor of the page universal basic income. I was wondering if you wanted to join or help Wikipedia:WikiProject Basic Income? The project is currently inactive so it could really use some participation by new members to kick-start it again.

I have also opened a move request on its talk page here - Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Basic Income#Requested move 22 October 2020 - to request that it be re-named to Wikipedia:WikiProject Universal Basic Income. If you could please spare a minute to leave a respond to this request on the talk page there it would also be much appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from you. Helper201 (talk) 15:51, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

April 2021

edit

Hello Randfiskin. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Randfiskin. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Randfiskin|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. GSS💬 06:20, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

You need to make a full disclosure per WP:DISCLOSEPAY. GSS💬 10:19, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
You mean to place this template . Randfiskin (talk) 11:33, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
You also need to disclose link(s) to all active accounts at websites where you advertise paid Wikipedia-editing services. GSS💬 11:37, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Ohh, i don't have any link or website. Can you please help me to get that? How can we do this? Randfiskin (talk) 11:45, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Then how you were hired to create NVT Phybridge‎ and what made you create Vogue Institute of Art & Design, Parliamentary Business, V-NOVA and Vihan? GSS💬 14:51, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
OK, I am the one from this http://www.wikieditorsforhire.com/ Randfiskin (talk) 15:00, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
As per your comment above, this company is involved in paid Wikipedia editing since 2015 (per Facebook page) and your account was created in 2017 so please list all accounts you have used before that. Also, you have not yet disclosed your relation with subjects I mentioned above. GSS💬 16:25, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
The above statement of Paid Editing is due to under pressure of GSS. Anyone can clearly see that GSS was stopping me to submit the draft for review by other editors while any user is free to submit a draft for review. GSS guide me to do so so that i could submit the draft. Moreover, I never connected to any company or neither an employee of any Wikipedia agency. I also affirm that i never received any financial stake for editing or creating any wikipedia page. Randfiskin (talk) 11:18, 2 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
You can't be both paid and not paid for the same edits. I have had a look at your edits and it does appear that you were paid. Otherwise, why was it so important to get that draft submitted that you made a false payment declaration in order to do so? And if you did make a false declaration, why should we trust you now? Therefore, you are now blocked. MER-C 14:17, 2 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Vogue Institute of Art & Design moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Vogue Institute of Art & Design, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
